This cracks me up. I literally built this kit like a couple days before the first video posted of this build. I thought I did a decent job....splurged on some filler compound to fill in some gaps, right? I was quickly reduced to loser-goo! Maybe if I had a 3-d printer and a plastic smelter or whatever the hell it is. Thanks Mr. Model God.
Very thin sharp x-acto knife and a lot of luck. Whatever you did is always a good job!
Thanks for showing all of those details. Great job
Great mods! Very thorough description on all of your details. Thanks for the video 😎👍
thank you. I try to do a few mods each kit I do. thanks for watching.
Inspiring work, Marko. Thank you.
Thanks for watching
I love the single axle. Make this kit way better. Great work
Thank you, and I agree
Nice Progress!!! Love how you explained all the hick-ups and mods you did!!!! I'll be watching
Hi Mike, thanks for stopping by should have more up soon.
Man that is so cool Roy. Will be awesome all painted up. Ron
I can't wait for that Ron, very excited.
The door handles are a great idea! Wish I thought of that when I did mine! Great mods.
Thank you, hope to see a video of your mods soon too.
@@MarKoCustomBuildModels It's already on my channel. Give it a watch!
I like what you've done with it, especially the duelly. I'm still kicking myself for not trying it. I boxed in the cargo doors like you for the same reason. Added a wench near the front in case the drag motor died. Tires on each side of the wench. I built a rack under each side to hold the ramps instead of the center, so they would be easier to position. After watching you put the Ford and Dodge cabs on it, i want to build 2-3 more lol
I love all the modifications that you have done Roy and I'm waiting in anticipation for the finale!
hope to have it done and posted here in a couple weeks.
@@MarKoCustomBuildModels I'll be watching Roy!
Thanks for the tips I`m waiting to get two of this kits
its a fun kit and you can take it many directions
I just built this truck l painting it all red came out nice
Man, this was awesome! Tons of work went into this one
I'll be updating more, just really busy around here.
Really nice work Roy, :) 😎 👍
Thanks, I'm glad it's working out so well.
Ok, smartee man. Guess what? Both the storage doors on mine are stuck shut right now, and they look great.
That is some incredible mods .the
Go for what you like Scott!
Super cool!!! Love all the work being done on it!!
Thanks, I'm enjoying this build a lot. More to come.
That is a awesome build I love how you went from the two wheel to the single axle and the other mods are awesome
Thank you I think it has a better look
Cool.l wanting to make a single dually out of that truck. Thanks for the tip
I will be showing how to do this on an upcoming video.
Nice build! This is how the kit should have been produced. I will never understand why it was made as a tandem axle. I've been around racing all my life and I've never seen a dual axle ramp truck built from a pick-up chassis.
That was my thought, and it seemed to work out well.
Looking great
Thanks very much
You do such nice mods and detail work!
thanks duane we will see you on the next one.
Great mods you're doing. You're making me want to build one of these, now that I see it can look right & not so toy like.
Glad you enjoyed the video, and looking to show how I did it in more detail
Awesome
thank you Sam
Looks cool marcos looks cool making it a smaller cab type tow rig looks like its smaller
Yes, I think so too.
Your doing a really good job with the wedge Roy!! Great video.............. 👍👍👍👍
thank you.
@@MarKoCustomBuildModels Anytime Roy
Nice mods and tips on building this kit, I always thought it would look better with the single axle.
I haven't had the chance to get the new issue but I do have the Model king issue that came with the open road camper.
I also have an older issue Chevy truck that I built years ago and it is ready for a rebuild, now I have some ideas on the direction I want to take with it.
Looking forward to seeing more of this build.
Glad I can provide some inspiration, and I like the single axel as well.
I like the single axle set up, very nice modifications also, will be watching to see how it comes out. Rick 🤓
thank you, and I may build a 55 gasser to go with it.
I like this kit, but it took three kits (purchased/exchanged) to find one that didn't have too much twist.
Now that I have a decent example of the ramp/wedge I am going to make my own from here on.
Cool mods and ideas regarding both the ramp and chassis.
Mine had quite a bit of twist too. A bit of hot water does help too. Thanks for watching.
great video
Thank you very much
Bonjour mon ami Marko 👍😉
Hi Marko 👍great update
It's a wonderful kit Chevrolet 1972
Great looks 👍I enjoy watching your job 💪Congrats buddy good morning of France 🇫🇷😉👍
thank you more to come soon, thanks for watching it's really appreciated.
Awesome video. Very cool mods. Love everything you done to it. Thanks for sharing how you did this stuff. Very inspiring. Kutgw
Glad you got useful information out of it, and I will do my best, thanks
Well, aren't you just Mr. Smart guy! I just built this kit. Funny, I was pissed when I found the ramp issue. It didn't dawn on me that I should just REDESIGN the entire rear section. What was I thinking?
I was asked if it could be done. I’m just glad it worked out okay.
It looks great. 👍👍I'm trying to scratch build something like that 🤔could you tell me the angle of the ramp?😀Please. Pete😎
it's 7 1/4 " long, with a difference of 1 7/16" in height. I don't the exact angle, so i hope this help.
@@MarKoCustomBuildModels that's really helpful. Cheers👍. I'll plot it out on graph paper and see what I get. Thanks very much. Best wishes from jolly old England. Pete😎👍👍
Have you done anymore with the build!
Just deciding on a pain colour
Hey awesome build how did you do the single axle change with the side etc ??
Cheers
I am planning to do a video on this very subject soon, so maybe I'll do it live.
I got the same kit is it hard to make it a dually then a triple axel
It's a five out of ten on difficulty, depends on what extra parts you have lying around
What did it take to remove the 2nd axle
I removed the front axle and filled in the sides. I also build the chassis to fix it.
You should make some how to's videos
Yes i will be doing that soon.
Salut my friend super car super video subscribe subscribe
Thanks
Mark why can't you get a 80 Monte Carlo model car to make the 80 gant pixe model car you try to build for your friend ? And my name is bill sutton
hi bill when we originally planned it I couldn’t find an ‘80 Monte Carlo, but now, I believe round 2 re-released it so plans might change. or I might try both versions.
Work trucks had white bumpers, not chrome!
Yes, I am putting white bumpers on them, and I've de-chromed them.
@@MarKoCustomBuildModels yes, I agreed.
