Resident Evil and Metal Gear Solid made me want one ever since I was in elementary school in the 90s
It’s aged very well; the style, ergonomics and function!
I've never seen someone experience so much recoil and muzzle rise when shooting a 9mm USP.
@@jimhovater8755 thank you 🫡
Picked up a new USP v7lem 9mm last year.. it's super cool ! It has a presence... end of world gun. I like the rest of the hk line. My next will be a hkp30sk lem 9mm. Nice review boy's!
Always like seeing good firearms but really appreciate all the facts & background info on them. Keep'em coming. Real Close to that 1k mark. 👍👍
Great video! I will say, though, mics on you both would really help with the environment you shoot in. The sound level really fluctuates a lot with just the camera microphone being utilized.
We actually were just talking about that, it seems like it would be a good investment to buy a couple mics. Thank you for the support
Love the USP grey case !
I own and use two 9mm Heckler & Koch USP pistols and one 45acp Heckler & Koch USP pistol.
Do you prefer the 45 or the 9?

I prefer the 45 for self-protection.
I prefer the 9 for the range.
Just an FYI, those older models can sometimes have firing pins break after too much dry firing.
We our aware the pre 2005 models are prone to breaking the firing pin during dry firing. But we are able to swap to the new firing pins luckily!
2012 and prior had that issue. A number of 2012 have seen that issue.
@@garrettrankin4678wait really?
@@Dulex123 You can swap to the new firing pin in a pre-05 gun by changing the firing pin, firing pin block and firing pin block spring. Cost is about $105 or so for all three parts shipped from places like HKParts if you do the work yourself (easy task if you have a 2.5mm or 3/32" pin punch and a plastic headed hammer or mallet). However, the firing pin thing has been blown out of proportion. If you use the gun normally and dry fire a few times after reassembling the gun after a cleaning just to make sure everything is working, it should last nearly forever. The breakage issues were a result of people doing thousands upon thousands of dry fires for practice without snap caps. HK changed the firing pin and block not because firing pin breakages were an epidemic or anything, but because they got enough of them in for repairs to become a nuisance, so they figured they'd beef them up and be done with it. In other words a majority of old style firing pins didn't break, regardless of usage. If you have a pre-05 gun with an intact old style firing pin and aren't planning on doing tons of dry fire practice, don't sweat it. Only swap to the new parts if you plan to dry fire a lot and don't want to have to deal with snap caps (which are admittedly a pain in the ass). 👍
Cool muzzle flip:)
Every gun has it!
@@defilade1066 but not every shooter..
It seems excessive for a 9mm. My 9mm Shield doesn't have that much muzzle rise.
Beautiful 🤩. Are older hk’s not good?
I don’t think they are bad, it’s just that the old firing pins are just not quite as strong.
The old case. Cool. Wait, do they still use them?
No, they switched to just a standard black case with foam inside
This a really cool pistol. I remember an older anime i watched called Evangelion. One of the characters, Misato Katsuragi used this exact model and was a badass with it.
Na 1993 was the 1st year for 9mm USP mine is KD code unfired for now
Thanks! That will be a collectors piece soon
