Not having one in front of me, seeing it physically compared to a G19 was exactly what I needed! Thanks.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for an excellent review. I’m a Glock and Sig guy but I have the HK. 45 full size and love it. Soft shooting and 100% reliable. Cons are it’s a big chunky gun and price of accessories is outrageous. Fit and finish is superb. It’s a keeper
Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment! I love all the hks and especially in 45 you just can't go wrong!
Stephen Berry hey Rick Berry here. 😎. Try an AREX Rex Zero 1 in 9 mm. Simply the best and from melaniaville Slovenia 👌🏻😍
Thanks for the details
That's what I'm here for!
I have this one and absolutely LOVE IT!!!
It's hard not to! Awesome guns indeed!
I own a VP9, and love it... This one is next on my list!
You really can't go wrong!
Congratulations, that is a great pistol. I just purchased a USPC 45. I live in CA. I can't get the one you have because it is not allowed in CA. I am in the stupid wait period we have in CA. I was at the gun store, I asked to guy to let me see it. As soon as I held it, I knew I had to get it. It felt right in my hand. It feels a lot better than the Glock. I paid a dear price for it, but here in CA the 45 pistols are very hard to come by. The gun stores have a lot of 9mm pistols, but are almost empty on 45 pistols. I also found a another way to carry. Pull the hammer back just a little bit, you'll hear a click, at that point it is decoked. I have the same feature in my Para P-12. That is the way I carry. That way I have a choice of going double action and/or single action. These pistols are as close as you can get to a 1911. And as you know the 1911, in 45 ACP, is my favorite pistol.
Thank you sir and yea it's an awesome piece I'm super happy with it! Hk pistols over any other polymer guns ever. That being said 1911s for lifeeeeee!!!!!
I couldn't agree with you more, nothing better than the 1911. I am planning to change the hammer on my USPC from a bobbed hammer to a spurred hammer. I prefer the spurred hammer because it gets it even closer to working like a 1911. And you know being 69 years old, I am like the old dog that always looks for the same fire hydrant to take a leak. By the way, I forgot to tell you, great vid. Look forward to hearing how your new H&K performs at the range. Good luck at the range, God bless and stay safe.
.... Put the light LEM trigger kit in it👍.... it’s just installing the action parts that come in the kit, and keep and use your stock hammer spring...
Love this platform. Talon grip in rubberized adds a lot of control. I’ve got several hundred rounds through mine. Love it.
Yeah you can't go wrong with an hk!
I have one as well and you are correct about the talon grips a thousand times better!!! This weapon is in the carry rotation cocked locked and always ready to rock! Also carry 2 spare 10 round mags
I have an early model minus the replaceable backstrap and o-ring. Fine, Fine pistol. Enjoyed your review
Hey thanks alot I appreciate that!
"....and I have zero rounds through it"
Killed half the video right there.
Good rec on practicing to take the safety off even if you run it off safe
Thanks and thanks for watching!
Nice gun sir! Good choice
Why thank you sir indeed
My preference is the HKs. I own quite a few models and the 45c is my EDC.
@@MilitantX1 solid choice!
I picked up the new in the box made in Georgia HK 45C yesterday for 720, it is weird because he has none of the German tool markings on it nor does it have the two letter German date code. It ran at the range just fine
Great review
Thanks!
Great video. Just ordered!
Much appreciated!
Nice H&K: looks like it was made Germany! I have the full size, made in Columbus Georgia. Love mine just put a hundred rounds through it, perfect results.
They're such well made guns! Can't go wrong!
A shovel is a shovel. A regular old steel and wood shovel does just as good as a fancy one. Saying that I'm looking at HK for my next purchase.
HK is where it's at man
Compressing the spring does not wear it out, pulling or stretching it out is what will ruin the spring
Got my 4th HK today. The 45 compact. Also have the original HK91 HK USP 9mm and HK USC 45. Great guns indeed
Couldn't agree more!
Still liking it?
@@ASSman864 yes, got a Mark 23 last year. Like them all
@@jeffreymorgan4381 nice im really eye balling the HK45C over the typical glock choice. But im also really torn between berettas and more reasonably sized 1911s, whats your EDC choice?
@@ASSman864 CCW a Springfield EMP 3 in 9mm CZ Compact and a Ruger LCRX 38 for the most part. I have a Beretta 92 and the Tomcat. I have several 1911s.. Ed Brown Springfield. Dan Wesson. Colt gold cup. Those are for fun in 45
On hk parts.net for the 10 and 13 round mags.
Just found you love your videos
I was thinking of added the 45c to my hk collection and was wondering if you had any opinion on the LEM option
Lem is one of my favorite configurations! Thanks for watching man!
I have it in the V7 LEM. No safety, so I can carry with no worries of accidentally flipping the safety off if I’m struggling in a fight or just everyday life bullshitt.
AMMO- .45+P 145gr Cor-Bon Glaser Silver Safety Slug.
Nice setup
@effinghamhick finger off trigger until going to shoot, thumb on hammer going into the holster.
Best of both compared to da/sa or strikers imo.
@@FormerMPSGT that and Hornady critical duty are great also. 👍🏼
Do you know if the HK45c is available in the LEM trigger? Also, would you say it is fairly easy to conceal?
With a proper belt and holster no issues concealing it and as far as if they offer this in lem I honestly do not know.
Yes on the lem
Oh great, now I want to buy one
You won't be mad at it!
I'm very much considering this as my new CCW.
I've been carrying the Sig 220 for a few years but I'm feeling like mid sized would just be a little easier.
This would be a great option! Smaller, lighter, and same capacity.
@@TerriblyTactical how would you rate the trigger though?
I've heard in DA mode, the trigger isn't the best
@@azzystyle94 it's definitely on the heavier side at least at first before you break it in but it's smooth and perfectly serviceable for a defensive/carry unit.
@@TerriblyTactical good to know.
As soon as I can, I'm planning on handling one myself to see if I even like the feel, but I definitely want w.e. info ahead of time.
Thanks 👍
@@azzystyle94 no problem my dude!
Deciding between this with the lem trigger for 500 of sig p229 40. with srt for 500 both under 1000 rounds shot through them
Buy them both
Terribly Tactical I mean that will eventually happen...just can’t rational dropping that much doe all at once
Finally found the Tactical version... Cost 999 dollars. BUT it was in stock , went out of stock as soon as I bought it..
Awesome!
Excellent handgun
Whats the deer antler and the letters on the side stand for?
It's the proof markings from germany
My hk p30 has 2 17 round mags
The new ones do but the old ones were 15s
Is it possible to make it single action only??
Not that I'm aware but just run it cocked and locked
Where can you find one of these now? Everywhere on-line is “OUT OF STOCK”!
Always check your local shops first. If they don't have one in stock see if they can put one on order for you.
johnscreekmark Omaha outdoors has some every so often.
I got lucky and found one locally used in great condition. You might try gunbroker.
Snatched one up for 600 on gunbroker, new in box... I think it was a gift from above.
Got mine yesterday for $699, which I feel is a good price. I'd have a hard time paying $1k for the 45C, but for $700 I think it's a solid choice.
What do you think of the Hk P7 PSP In 9mm? The Best Pistol Ever Made!
It's definitely pretty sweet. I wouldn't say best because it has its quirks but awesome gunnn
Man... the more I look at these, the more I want one on my hip... lol
They're really nice guns!
What holster you running?
It's playing more of a nightstand gun role until I can have one made
@@TerriblyTactical Ya, I can't find a holster anywhere for this gun.
@@InstinctiveFirearmReviews just got a tt gunleather Mike's special for mine. Great leather holster and seems to get nothing but rave reviews
If you had to pick between this and a 1911 what would you like?
1911
@@TerriblyTactical Thanks. I have the full sized HK45, and I like it. I also have a stainless CZ75. I have been hesitating getting a 1911 due to all of the stories about reliability. Any suggestions? Currently looking at Sig 1911s.
@@PanfishingJournal sig 1911s are awesome for the money! They work well and give you alot of features for the price. I had a tac ops and shoulda never sold it...I have a video of it on my channel if you wanna check it out but as far as reliability, the 1911 is one of the best and most proven platforms out there and as long as you get a decent one, it will run and run and run. They are slightly higher maintenance than a glock or something but it's also a tighter tolerance design. Imo there is no better shooting pistol than a 1911!
@@TerriblyTactical thanks a bunch. I have handled several 1911s and none of them felt as good to me as the Sigs. I may just have to bite the bullet and pick one them.
@@PanfishingJournal yessir! Also, if you have a couple hundred bucks more you can get yourself into a Dan Wesson which is a hand fit semi custom style gun that is absolutely the best thing on the market for the money as far as quality, fit and finish, reliability, and accuracy! The heritage is a great affordable option from them!
I wonder if glock madd a stock $1000. Pistol, what would we get? Is love to know
Their are 10 to 13 round mags.
K M Where did you read that? As far I’ve seen, HK only makes 8 rd and 10 rd elephant foot mags.
1948 is not way back. way back is Winchester, S&W, Browning 1800s
It's enough back to have skin in the game
@@TerriblyTactical then again I tend to forget my actual age and compare "way backs" to the 70s! But I have to add 50 to that. Anyhow, I love HK, owner of P30, P7, and now HK45c
Slide serations are not sharp at all, I have much trouble pulling the slide back, my fingers slide right off during ideal conditions, imagine if I was sweating. I love the gun but can't live with the slide in a life and death situation.
I have zero issues manipulating the gun
Work on your finger strength.
The 45c is not hard at all to rack.
I got mine for under 659
@@toddmcdonald8493 super solid price!
Much more of a USP45 fan
As am I
Reminds me of a P2000
Very p2000 esq
How much does it cost?
Around 700
@@TerriblyTactical Not bad, I like it better than the H&K USP compact .45 acp.
Forward serrations .....who puts their hand up around the muzzle.....oh yes....old lefty smith.....he did it.....
You're right Glocks are decent but definitely a step below in quality. The basic design got a lot of things right from the get go for size and cost efficiency. Execution of design year after year is the hard part when their big wigs love money more than you.
Mid 90s 9mm Glocks were best and won't be back. Bubbas apply it to all models and generations and think Glocks, and their AKs, are better than they actually are.
AREX Rex Zero 1. Rulessss at $640. Best made.
Not nearly as proven and very proprietary
So how much you paid finally?
Super cheap hahah
@@TerriblyTactical you paid super cheap and got this brand new or used?
@@siuuuuuu7048 new but I work at the shop
@@TerriblyTactical Haha, not everyone gets employee perks... I want this but in CT version, aka Mark24 Mod0
👍
Thanks for watching!
its bigger than their own HK USPc in 45 and holds less ammo. There is no excuse.
It's still a solid gun and has a normal rail and might be more ergonomic for some people...also holds the sane capacity as a usp c in 45 they are both 8 round mags
It takes the same magazines as the USP 45c so I don't understand how it holds less ammo
You're reviewing a HK 45 c a yet yo mentioned block more than HK
You mad?
You’re saying Glock has the same reliability as hk maybe they use that spring to ensure their legend of reliability which Glock can’t compare to hk
Hk supremacy
You removed the side then didn't show off the barrel 😞👎 leave the Gluck comparisons out.
You do realize your useless negative troll comments are only helping me make more money right?
Hammer down safety on is just silly. If you can't be trusted not to shoot yourself with an eleven pound trigger you shouldn't be handling a gun.
I wouldnt personally run a gun like that although some people may like the extra safety measure or it may be required such as an Leo department sop or in the military like with the beretta
Police Officers shoot themselves.Carry the gun in whatever way you feel comfortable. Please don't listen to this dumbass
shut up twat boy. do what you want. don't listen to this fuck wad. People carry revolvers with 11 pound trigger pulls for fucks sake.
If your training isn’t good enough to flip the safety off as you draw, like a 1911, maybe you shouldn’t be handling a gun. It provides an added few seconds to recover the gun if the bad guy gets it.
@@jefife750definitely agree with you was going to say all of that👍🫡
You’re review is for an H&K but you spend soooo much time talking about Glock. Sounds like Glock envy.
You're dumb
@@TerriblyTactical stupid response, just like your videos. Einstein you are not.
