My son and his wife met with a hello at college, got married with a small simple celebration during Covid, she was diagnosed with a rare cancer, called sarcoma few months after their wedding, went thru 3 major surgeries and chemo, he has been on her side and holding her when she was weak and in despair, and she has been supporting him in her special way to keep him strong. Love keep them strong through the headwinds. "Love Story"was a pure love movie, yet I see in real life. Please pray for her recovery with God's mercy.

How I came across you is because my sister and I were reminiscing Ryan O'Neal movies when learning he died today. The SECOND the piano started playing my heart gave a LEAP and all those memories of the movie, the music, sitting at the piano, everything came back! I miss my wife. We met in medical school. She was a Navy scholarship student. I said that although I did not know where our relationship would end but we were in love and we married as we graduated from medical school both of us initially as junior officers. We have a difficult but a wonderful life in the Navy. When we transferred from Japan to DC (after deployments) she had a seizure. She was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor and when she passed and was buried with full honors in Arlington National Cemetery in 2014. To this day I ask the Lord what next. He states keep moving forward and we will be reunited. I trust him.
Great resurrection on the cards for all dead loved ones... We will see them again... Account of Lazarus convinces me everytime I read it... Not for nothing they affected our lives...

I bought the DVD recently with this movie and I feel the same thing when I am watching: crying. I think not everyone has the chance to find the true love in this life. I always wanted,I thought i found it, but after years i realized that my husband doesn't have the same feelings for me and that was very painful. Right now we are divorcing after 27 years. This is the life. We have to survive and to realize that God has a plan for each of us, even though sometimes it is very difficult to accept. For those who found real love i am happy for them! I'm 57 now and I saw this movie as a young boy in the movie theatres. All I heard was sniffling around me so I figured I should start crying too and I did lol. Very emotional and impactful movie. Still remember and love it to this day.
Yeah like I have said before I was 18 when I went to see this movie.....and cried all the way home......the bus conductor in Birmingham, kept coming to see if I was ok, but when I explained to him he totally understood and made sure that I got off the bus safely and back to the nurses home at East Birmingham Hospital.....still spent all night crying :)

Really, I never knew that . I was young when this came out but remember all the hype . Always been a big fan of Steve McQueen and always though Ali McGraw was stunningly beautiful. I vaguely recall reading or hearing they were together at some point . But I never knew she broke his heart and he was never complete again afterwards. Sad and beautiful. Doesn't surprise me one bit that he never recovered from the split though . He seems decent and sincere and I can respect that . Knowing such a great man still felt for a love he couldn't have makes me feel better knowing if it can happen to him then I'm not a loser . I just lost someone special.

Ali Macgraw, the love Steve McQueen never got over. She still looks incredible at age 80.
Really, I never knew that . I was young when this came out but remember all the hype . Always been a big fan of Steve McQueen and always though Ali McGraw was stunningly beautiful. I vaguely recall reading or hearing they were together at some point . But I never knew she broke his heart and he was never complete again afterwards. Sad and beautiful. Doesn't surprise me one bit that he never recovered from the split though . He seems decent and sincere and I can respect that . Knowing such a great man still felt for a love he couldn't have makes me feel better knowing if it can happen to him then I'm not a loser . I just lost someone special.

I was 13 when this movie came out. My Sister and brother in-law took me to see it. It's one of those movies you don't forget, beautiful and tragic at the same time. Similar to the movie Terms of Endearment or Steel Magnolia, these movies touch your heart, that's what makes them unforgettable.
