Moon River - Breakfast at Tiffanys - Desayuno con Diamantes

Moon River Lyrics - Audrey Hepburn
Moon River, wider than a mile,
I'm crossing you in style some day.
Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker,
wherever you're going I'm going your way.
Two drifters off to see the world.
There's such a lot of world to see.
We're after the same rainbow's end
waiting 'round the bend,
my huckleberry friend,
Moon River and me.
Yo sigo tu camino.
- Hudba
Thank God we we grew up with beautiful music like this to dream about.
My Late Parents who Wed in 1963 and Tragically passed away together in 1995...."Moon River" was their song and "Breakfast At Tiffany's " their Movie. If they heard "Moon River" on the radio...and the radio would be on in the Kitchen from 6:30AM...until Bedtime! They would stop what they were doing whether it be cooking or the washing up and Dance to this song. How very romantic.💕🙏🙏
Now that's what I call Love!
Your comment made me cry, but in a good way, thanks.

Those days will return, just not in this life..😊

The year was 1962, I was a sophomore at Ohio State, and had taken a bus down to Lexington, Ky. to see a sweetheart Mary Nash, who was a freshman @EKU…we saw this memorable romantic movie in Lexington and caught up on 8 years that we missed each other’s smile…I last saw her in the Fall of 1999…her magical smile was still alive and will always be in my hearts memory…

i listen to this song a lot, i am 68 years old, and happy, but this is music i do not hear anymore, it is simply beautiful......
i am 69 now, still one of the most beautiful songs, EVER
Yes it is ♥
We hear it 68 is the new 50 your still young x
"Moon River" and "A Summer Place" were two nostalgic and hauntingly beautiful pieces from back in the day. They both carry me back to a time that no longer exist. How I miss it.
In 1969, while working as a DJ in a small Illinois town, I remember I would play this tune pretty often, as it was still quite popular, even at that time, and our listeners never seemed to tire of hearing it being played; small wonder, it's such a beautiful song.
My beautiful younger brother Stephen passed away recently and this was his favourite song. He was only 51. So sad. This song is very precious to me now.xx
Hello how are you doing?
Sorry for the loss of your dear brother. 🙏🏼
When I hear that song ,I think of me and my wife, I was 22 she was 21, we did go off to see the world, we were so young, now we're still married 50 years, and I love her more and more, and think of the adventures we went thru in life.
That is beautiful and you are so lucky to have led the life you have and to have found the love you have .I was not that lucky , as an enduring love between two people can surmount any hardships in this world and makes for enduring happiness, which you seem to have .My love to you both and I hope the ensuing years are kind to you .x X x
💖🙏😇
I never found that kind of love.
I am only on 34 years of marriage, but glad to say it is running perfectly
I retired from my job today, and had to say good bye to a woman I worked there with - my best friend actually. I sent her a copy of this video & I shed many tears as i wrote my message to her. The song reminds me of her & I & our friendship perfectly. I truly love this woman!
Tell this special lady how much you love her.
In the movie "The green book" there is a great line that says, "the world is full of lonely people waiting to make that first move"! Follow your heart.
Who can ever forget this haunting music! I saw the film way back in the '60s & the song has remained with me up to this day. It has becomes " everyone's dream & hope"!!
I went through this myself I regret not telling her what I felt!!
I was friends with this old ww2 veteran named Buzz and he liked to sing moon river at the bar. This drink is for you Buzz.
This romantic movie “ Breakfast at Tiffany’s “ was made over 60 years ago, but I think it’s amazing that Audrey Hepburn’s presence and impression are so fresh.
I'm so glad I had reason during this time and that I am a member of the "New Frontier Generation". An unforgettable, exciting, memorable, and inspiring time.
A heavenly melody to match the heavenly beauty that is Audrey Hepburn
One of the most beautiful songs ever written .My eyes fill up with tears when I hear it and see Audrey’s beautiful face .We were so young and full of hope for the future .A time when there were truly romantic movies .I miss those days so much .
Remember those beautiful times,😃😄😅

Slow dancing with my sweetheart of 53 years at our senior prom. God blessed me with a great woman. At
73 years old I know what true love is.I love this woman.
If someone asked me, “What actress exemplifies your wife?”, I, without hesitation, say Audrey Hepburn! She was a remarkable person with true grace and character! My wife shadows this great actress! I am extraordinarily blessed!
This became my favorite song way back in 1961 when I was baby sitting..Oh God I am old now & miss those days when I was young.
This song is a balm. It reminds of years gone by when I, a teenager then, would sit in the living room with my mum and brother to watch the Andy Williams show, of which Moon River was the theme song. Such simple, uncomplicated times they were when I look at our confusing and dark world now spinning out of control. How I long for those times, when a man was a man, and a woman a woman. And the news was credible. There was more truth than lies. But we are now cast away from our foundations.
I was born in 1982. I am a throwback to women like Audrey Hepburn and let me tell you it is very hard for me to fit in anywhere. I don't want to be angry but I feel angry because I am alone in my life and it's not right. I am very much like Audrey Hepburn-fragile, beautiful, elegant, charming. It's hard to be that way in the world which sadly has no values. I miss my grandmother's and the family I used to have. My life is not the sane anymore. There don't seem to be any answers anymore to happiness, not even in the church. People are not real, genuine, and honest anymore.
@@kellygreene9799 Hi Kelly I send my best regards & hopes to you It is a great song
Stephen, thank you for your kind words. I am feeling much better. I've always worn my heart on my sleeve. It is such a wonderful, sensitive film, acting of the Golden Era. George Peppard is equally wonderful, has great chemistry on screen with Audrey. I'm actually a singer and I love singing the title song for people who appreciate it. I also love her in Charade with Cary Grant. It doesn't get any better than a beautiful score and elegant beauty on the big screen! Blessings, Kelly

Hello how are you doing?
Audrey Hepburn is probably the loveliest actor to ever grace tre screen.
Actress don't be pc. Men are actors ladies are actresses. We are different.
Doris Day was another at the top of class.
@@davidwest3151 it was a typo, definitely meant actress, I am with you on that
And that is the spellbound world of the cinema that reaches into our hearts and souls, if only for a few moments, to remind us that love will triumph and overcome adversity ❤…
Oh, the genius of Henry Mancini! Hepburn's dress, necklace, hairstyle, sunglasses and the haunting harmonica all make for one amazingly unforgettable opening. Throw in Tiffany's, and voila! major screen magic never reproduced over the passing years.

I can remember sitting in a large movie theatre when this came out. When she came on the screen her beauty and charm was breathtaking. I'm much older now but the wonderful music and her charm and beauty still captivate me as if it were yesterday. Magic 😃
Innosense never lost and grace in addition to her irresistable charm and beauty. As good as "Breakfast at Tiffany's" is in my opinion "Roman Holiday" is even better which was her breakout role co-starring with the incomparable Gregory Peck. One of a kind then, now and forever!

Crazy as it sounds I want this played at my funeral! Dont know why this song resonated so much for me. I grew up in the 50's and early 60's and this song when it did come out hit me like a ton of bricks for whatever the reason. Even when I served overseas in the US Army in the late 60's I was in love with Audrey Hepburn. Helped me get thru some dark times. And now, even to this day Im haunted by Mancini's music of Breakfast At Tiffany's. Idyllic for sure but what a composer he was leaving such a rich treasure of music for so many to still enjoy. Thank you Thank you Mr. Mancini and Ms Hepburn!

This song means so much to me. I still remember my mum asking me if I knew the words so I could sing it after my dads funeral but I didn’t get to know them until months later. I just wish she told me this was there song. I’m singing this song now to you both with tears running down my face. I love and miss you mum & dad with every single day that passes. May god look after you both ❤️❤️
