Chinese Malaysians speaking Malay: Intermediate
Chinese Indonesians speaking Indonesia: Expert/Legend
Cuz we have to speak and indonesia, and also bahasa indonesia is part of national examination(usually indonesian took 3 times national examinaton)
@Jamew7 what other languages do you speak?
Sbb bahasa indonesia tu senang, aq xpernah tahu bahasa indonesia tgk youtube sebulan dah tahu bahasa indonesia... Sedangkan org indonesia duduk malaysia 10 tahun belum tentu fasih bahasa melayu... Hahahaha.. tetapi org indonesia pulau riau fasih bahasa melayu.. sbb bahasa dorang sama dgn bahasa melayu malaysia...
@Jamew7 hm no. Most of Chinese indonesian (older) can speak Chinese & indonesian, and the younger can speak indonesian & english
@@ap3xstylo81 what? Bahasa Indonesia is also bahasa Melayu smh. And most of foreigners in Malaysia cannot speak malay because it's not mandatory to do that.
Malay is the National Language of Singapura. They should know it well. It's a shame. Like the late Lee Kuan Yew once said; Singapura is build on Tanah Melayu, we should not lose our national identity and heritage.
Did he really say that, or did you make that up?

It happens in 1st world cities. Cultural identity is getting lost in this age, folks in China does not even follow traditional chinese marriage rituals by large.
@@peterchen5694 it's slowly returning if you have been following closely on their social development. More youths are wearing hanfu, learning han culture and values, and conduct their marriages in traditional fashion.

whtever it is,still your national song is in malay. your prime minister is chinese but can speak malay fluently.shame on the young generation that live in multi culture but only knw to speak english only.
because not everyone can learn to speak Malay. it takes time to learn a new language.. Just because their national song is in Malay doesn't mean their whole country HAS to know how to speak Malay. They're not Malaysian, They're Singaporean. Malaysia has only 1 Official Language while Singapore has 4.
When you travel to other places of the world, what language do you use to communicate? English. The language almost everyone uses cross-culturally to communicate with eachother.
Bahasa kebangsaan sana english.. org melayu pun kadang tak fasih melayu.. same goes to chinese

Ip Man is a better singer than Wong Fei Hung. Cause he one person can sing 10 songs.
Glad all (almost) Indonesian Chinese or Bumiputera (pribumi) accept Bahasa Indonesia as their main language, so many of them only use bahasa Indonesia as communication language, even some younger generation unable to speak their 'mother tounge' language (native ethnicity language) 😎✌️
So u are proud of the Chinese being forced to speak Bahasa Indonesia and getting discriminated by the govt at the expense of their own native mother tongue??? What is wrong with u??? So selfish and self entitled!
@@lcy3877 we (chinese and pribumi ethnicity) never *forced* but we *chose* to use Bahasa as main communication language. Are U never wondered WHY Official Language not Javanese ( largest population) or Sundanese ( second largest) BUT we chose Bahasa Indonesia ( Malay language with Dutch and other languages influence ) ?? our *founding fathers* chose Bahasa as Main language because of History and for unity in diversity reason. Bahasa was *Lingua Franca* of Nusantara ancient Kingdoms long time ago, they use Bahasa to communicate between different Kingdoms and ethnics. Still until today many ethnicity (including Chinese) still use their mother tongue as their communicatio between their own, if you travel to Indonesia you will hear many different *mother tongue* still regularlly spoken (include Mandarin, Hokkian etc. of chinese ethnics). Talking About *discrimination* toward Chinese Ethnicity is a *political reason* created by old colonial and old goverment back than, today after *Reformation era* we had *diminish* most all discrimination toward chinese ethnicity, all Chinese have equality right in all sector. In real life we live in Harmony as long we respect each other. I think you too many watched or read 'mislead' and 'hoax' news 🤷♂️
