I talked to the Owner of Bora he recommended 4 inch spacers front and back for my 3046r JD Cab tractor and I was so glad I listened to him.!!! It's ROCK SOLID.!
I appreciate this video, I just ordered a set of the 3” spacers for my 2305 this morning.
Right on!
I have a 2305 and am thinking about doing this too.
I highly recommend! Much much more stable with these spacers!
After a year now, would you suggest anything different or still recommend the wheel spacers?
I had 1.25"s on my 1025R and 2.5"s for my 2025R. Hands down on the 1025R it was a night and day difference, especially when I was using my forks and carrying logs. I no longer felt tippy, and I'd almost tipped it once before having the spacers on. I haven't got them on the 2025R yet as we still have quite a bit of snow and I don't have the need to have em on just yet. 2.5" is about as wide as I can go with my 54" deck before you obstruct the gauge wheel lock.
Night and day is a good way of putting it.
Kansas guy not offended...great tip!
My man!
Loving all the content lately! Any chance of getting more after shots? Thanks
Sure thing. Next vid I'll have more.....it was a ROUGH morning.
Hello, my father in law was a mechanic for over 35 years. He always used wheel bearing grease between the car/truck hubs and wheel rims. Probably a lot cheaper then anti-seize.
Good idea.
Im adding 2.5 to my 2025 R, will put me at 53" wide, sure hoping it makes a difference in the stability
It will.
CRC will work good, personally I use permatex SilGlide brake lube , all mating surfaces and lug studs. Blue loctite , meh. Keep update on how the spacers work
Will do . Thanks for watching!
great videos, greeting from Canada. I have a 2025r on order and will do spacers, did you do the front wheels as well? my use is primarily snow blowing, no plans for mowing. Thanks
I found that there was going to be no need, FOR ME, to do fronts. Up to you if you wanna invest in that. While rare, its not unheard of.
@@JohnWCH fair enough, thanks for the reply. Stay well.
Anti acid liquid like Malox. Brush it on thin. Cheap but works great. I have used on diesel trucks for 30 years.
Sorry, in regards to what? Anti-seize?
Update? How’s it going so far? Any changes in your opinion of the spacers? You still like the steel over aluminum?
I'm filming an update this weekend. Long and short: if you're on the fence, get them.
@@JohnWCH thanks I’ll keep a lookout for the vid.
How did you decide what thickness to go with?
Honestly, I wanted a width that I FELT like I'd be getting my money's worth out of. Not very scientific.
No one ever shows before and after pictures after spacer installation from the rear!
the wheel is going to fall off
any second now....
It’s been a few seconds sense this was first posted lol is the wheel still on? Or did it fall off?
