Whats going on Legend riders... tell me what is your favourite Ebike right now.
For me the bike that are more beautiful are the new orbea or the specialized levo sl
@SamsBikes I really want the new Mondraker Dune XR but the Bosch sx motor rattle/clunk is really detouring me. I think I’m going with the updated Kenevo SL2 since I had the Gen1 KSL and loved it.
Nicolai, and the latest with Pinion E1.12 Motor.Gearbox.Unit, gates carbon drive !
@@RubenJFernandesOrbea Rise = £11’999 😢!!
Orbea Wild and Rise.
You missed one that's important the five levels of assist and three sublevels. Giant full carbon Trance X Advanced E+ EL series this year. Sheds a freaking 10 lb 85 nm. 150/140 travel magnesium motor casing. Super quiet yama motor. Flip chip to make it more or less trail. Pretty much blows the doors off of everything in this list price versus performance.
If I was to buy a new E bike today, I would seriously consider Orbea Rise LT with a 630 W battery. I have a Orbea Rise M10 custom and love it but really like the idea of the longer travel and the 85 nm motor! The best of all worlds! Especially the claimed weight!🤙
Then the weight is not far from the Wild, though... it becomes a tough choice.
Just buy the cheapest emtb possible with oké components.
For me it would be the Propain . The right amount of travel, motor and battery.
Yep the new Propain looks such good value
I'd have to go with the Specialized Levo SL Alloy. I already own a Gen 1 and it just suits the way I ride. I upgraded mine with a Fox Factory 36 Fork and Fox Factory Float X Shock. It made a world of difference.
Thanks for entering yep it’s a beast of a ebike
I bought the Giant Trance X E+ Advanced Elite last year to get the superlight frame with the full fat motor. If I were to buy again today I'd definitely be looking at the new Orbea Rise but it's hard to beat the value that Giant offer.
Totally agree Giant has amazing value
Yeah I just got the 2024 reign e +1 in Australia brand new for $7,500 au , it wasn’t necessarily my first choice but the value for money was too good to knock back , and it rides bloody well anyway
Has to be the mondraker dune light with big travel ,dream machine..
For me, the Orbea SL, 420Wh battery as a old trail rider, this is for me!!
Yep it’s looking pretty rad
Hello, I would be interested in trying the Mondraker Dune 😋. All I need is money🤣🤣🤣
Thank you for the videos, excellent work you do on this channel, especially for those who are thinking about buying an e-bike, congratulations 🤟
I really like the Transition Repeater PT.
I would buy the Giant Trance , affordable and good specs
Would love a chance to ride the Orbea rise gen2 .
I would be dreaming to say Mondraker dune .
Good call both look amazing
If I was to buy an ebike today (and I want to), it would likely be the Nebo Peak or the Shuttle SL. I like my bikes as quiet as possible, onyx hubs, chasing down cable rattle :). I am waiting for Garmin to integrate and start pulling info and settings from the ebikes so you dont need phone to change profiles.
Either the ltd Levo w/ Ohlins or the Range VLT - looking for test rides of the Norco as soon as it hits shores.
Both are fantastic options
I would buy a Specialized S- Works. Maybe the Kenevo SL 3?
I like the look of the Transition Repeater 160/160 EP8
Hey Sam, thanks for this great Update. I like the Orbea the most. Best combination of weight, full power, suspension and batterie options.
I like the new Orbea Rise LT but I think I would still prefere the Wild.
The Speccy Turbo Levo Comp Alloy. Oh, hang on... I already bought it.
Hahaha 🤣 yep it’s a beast of an ebike
I would go for a Cannondale Moterra!
My favorite ebike, or the one i would buy, doesnt exist yet.
I would want:
-bosch or brose motor
-720 + **Easily REMOVABLE** battery
-Sub 22kg
-mullet
-short chainstay (sub 450)
-head set angle sub 64.5°
-sram t-type transmission
-top tube integrated system controller
-hayes dominion brakes ideally...
-sizing that suit my physionomy !!!
-range extender
-ajustable dropper
-160mm or less cranks
-available in Canada
-no more than 12000$ (canadian)
-available at a local dealer
Good luck Chuck !!!😂
I will keep my Giant Trance another year for sure.
Haha make it and send me one haha
I would get a propain if I didn’t work at a bike shop so instead I’m getting the giant trance e+ advanced
If I were to buy a bike today...... Orbea Wild. Already have a Spesh Turbo Levo in the garage and the Wild would look really good there as well.
Difficult decision, I would choose the Orbea Rise or the Specialized Levi SL, both looks amazing and the previous versions are awesome. Thanks Sam for bringing us these novelties, otherwise I could never be up to date of latest releases
I guess for me my favorite has to be SL Levo since I just ordered the new Pro Carbon version. Really appreciate all your informative videos. After demoing one and watching your videos helped with my decision. 👍
Nice bikes all these ten newcomers, but tomorrow I will actually pick up my own dream bike - a Specialized Turbo Levo SL Comp Carbon. I have the heavyweight Levo (29’’) as well, but I’m looking forward to ride a lighter and more playable mullet bike on my favourite trials.
I'd probably go with the Canyon Torque On. Perhaps a bit overkill for my more local trails but also great for the bike park days!
Got to love a full power Orbea Rise.
AWESOME VIDEO SAM... i ride a propain ekano 2 al ...but if i was to buy an ebike tomorrow i would buy a Unno burn... or a Orbea rise LT version ... those are the best looking ebikes on the market right now in my opinion
Not new but I would get the Levo alloy comp. Very popular in my area, local dealers available for service and at 63yo I could use a little more power to get back up the hills.
I would buy the canyon neuron on fly but I’m still looking at Sam’s website to narrow things down a bit more ,having taken a break from mtn biking for 15years …great show very informative
The new Merida e160 lyte is the bike for me. Having tested one recently I can honestly say for the price, spec and performance it's unbeatable.
I’m not sure about availability outside of North America, but I’m excited about the Devinci e-Troy lite that was just released.
Oh yes I missed that one
@@SamsBikes I don’t think it’s revolutionary or anything, I just like that they are selling an alloy super light ebike with a decent spec for under $10k Canadian, with an nx yari build build for under $7k.
If I was going to buy an emtb today it would have to be the Propain EKANO CF. Love the tech and the Enduro long travel…perfect for ebike.
Wish the Levo SL had a bigger battery like 430 or so they missed the mark on that.
The Mondraker Dune looks interesting!
Yep the dune looks cool 😎 I run my Levo most of the time with the range extender
Cheers Sam. Loving me gen 3 levo expert. Hoping to see a mid weight Crestline hit the market. 🙏🏽🙌🏽🤙🏽☕🥂
I wanted to get a Pole but they are no more, might get a Zerode with the Pinon MGU next year when they come out
I'd probably go with the the new Rise LT, but if they came out with a larger battery Levo SL I may go with that.
Not sold on SL's yet. Still deliberating between the Canyon torque on and Strive on but thinking there may be some new bikes coming soon. Maybe a YT Decoy with up to date geo.
I've a kenevo expert 6 fattie, and just purchased a commencal meta power sx, but like the look of the yt decoy with ohlins
I'm considering a SL eMTB just for the trails around the hood (Manly Dam) - consider a Scott Lumen but worry about the power to weight ratio for the TQ, the new Canyon Neuron:ONfly and now the new Orbea Rise - aaaaahhhhh too many choices!
Although not mentioned, I would buy a new Trek Rail 9.8XT to offer a full fat alternative to my Trek Fuel EXe 9.8XT.
Just put a deposit on the 2024 Norco Range. Big travel with the Bosch motor sold me. Although your video may sway me a bit! 😂
Question: on the new Orbe rise LT you mentioned the claim weight was 19.1 kg. That with the 420 W battery or 630 W battery
That Orbea rise lt. 🔥🔥🔥
If I were to buy a bike tomorrow, definitely would be the Levi LTD. Love the Brose motor, 630 w/hr and mullet set up. Love shorter chainstays and the faster handling.
That Mondraker Dune is #1 on my list. I already have a full fat enduro ebike, a lighter ebike would be next. I like the way it looks, just would hope it would ride nice. I hope you get to test it so I can find out 😎
Although not listed currently interested in the Whyte E160 RS but the new Orbea Rise has definitely peaked my interest.
Both amazing bikes
More e-bikes!!!! Wow!! I’ve got three favorites so far! But I would buy the Levo SL, I love it!!!
Perfect bike for you
That Orbea rise looks good, pricey though. Waiting on Specialized to pull it out the bag and give us an SL with a good motor and battery. Brilliant warranty and customer service. But thought with the 1.2 they would have increased the battery size.
Dream bike has gotta be the Rocky Mountain Powerplay Altitude. I hired one while in Vancouver on holiday and it blew me away. Thanks for the channel. Cheers
Right now, I have the ‘23 turbo levo comp alloy with the mastermind. If I could pick tomorrow, I would stick with the levo and get the highest spec carbon model with all the bells and whistles I just love the bike and it does all I could ask of it👍😁
Would still go for the rocky mountain instinct powerplay. I'm 108kg and 184cm so need the big push and a XL frame. Perfect for big climbs and rough downhill stuff here in Cairns .
That specialised Levo alloy limited edition looks like a great bike , that would be my choice without having ridden it .
Canyon StriveON is my choice coming
I think I would love canyon strive on, but I have doubt about the battery problem
I have a Santa Cruz Heckler mx w/740 wh battery and love it, so I think I'd either replace it or pick up the SL for shorter rides. Orbea's are sweet though🤔
For me, it’s a Levo SL alloy. I have the full power, but I love the lighter weight version, it just feels amazing.
I’ve been waiting for the right bike to incorporate the MGU. I thing I’d have to buy the Nikolai if I were buying tomorrow 👌😁👍
Got gen 4 trek rail 9.8 this week. What a bike that is. An absolute tank
I just bought Orbea Rise, I love it, so I would gladly buy Gen2 because it is probably better in everything / Greetings from Poland
For me, the most attractive Ebike right now is the, Orbea Rise LT with a 630 W battery. Being able to have a more natural feel option while riding or crank up the power in the big climb situation is a great idea. I would also love to see more companies work with the pinion motor as well, belt drive crank on an Ebike seems like a no brainer to me.
My next e-bike would be the Orbea Rise or maybe the Pivot Shuttle SL. Can't go wrong with either. I also like the Levo SL
Yep can’t go wrong with any of those bikes
I am currently shopping e-bikes, so my answer changes just about every 16 minutes, but today I think I'm settled on the Orbea Wild.
I would buy Canyon Neuron On Fly tomorrow if there is 150 fork. now I'm hesitating... but what else??? is there Bosh SX with 140 rear 150 front under 6k???
Hi !
Because of the budget and because I'm not an experimented user, I think the Mondraker Chaser could be a good choice.
Nicolai with Pinion would be perfect.
For me it’s the specialized levo LTD fantastic !
My favourite e-bike is my Levo Carbon😄 After ditching the Sram brakes, it’s perfect👌 Only thinking to add 10mm of travel🤔
Specialized Turbo levo but really liking the look of the new Orbea Rise LT with a 630 wh battery
The new Orbea Rise LT looks amazing. I have a Rise M10 which I love. But would definitely love the 85 nm of torque. That Pinion MGU bike looks super intriguing though. I think that's the future of e-bikes.
The Orbea Rise LT in it's lightest configuration would be my choice
Definitely the orbea rise sl had an M20 and running a levo sl alloy at the moment.
Fav bike right now would be my Gen 3 Levo I'm loving it right now and I'm thinking of trying out the new Cane Creek Trigon Shock at some point.
The one I would grab has to be the Dune it's going to chew up any trail in the World....
Yep it looks so good
Hi Sam, for sure I would definitely choose the new alloy Levo LTD edition 🤤 and a nice pair of red Crankbrothers shoes to shine on the nice trails of Sintra in Portugal 😉🍻🍻
The new orbea would be my first choice.
Good call it looks very good
It would have to be the Mondraker for me. Looks Epic!
I have Turbo Levo and I wish to have a bigger suspension so my choice this time will be Mondraker and new pedals 😂
My only 2 bikes are a city bike and a BMX, would like to go a bit wild and splash out for a canyon strive on, just waiting to finish school so I have more time and three canyon's shock and dropper post be updated with the new fox goodies. Plus I think Bosch is working on updating the more powerful lineup side they have used better battery tech on the lower powered e bikes.... Would be nice though if the fox dropper could be controlled by the downtube wirelessly...
I’d be interested to know how different the 55nm Bosch SX motor feels compared to the similar 50nm TQ HPR50 in both sound and power in real rider terms, for instance will the SX be significantly more powerful up hill with its 600w compared to the TQ 300w, at the expense of a loud whine or have Bosch nailed the motor sound now too? I ask as i have a Trek Fuel Exe currently and there’s a lot of similar weight bikes out now with an SX motor.
Hello crack.
My favorite ebike would be the Orbea rise Lt, I think that now they have done things well by being able to have 85 newtons.
A greeting from Spain
The Orbea LT looks SUPER!👍
Totally
I´d go for that lovely Specialized Levo!
Neuron onfly or Rise SL
I liked a lot the Norco Range VLT, but my dream is to have one with a Polini motor, which serviceable by the user.
My mates and I are looking at the Nicolai Saturn 16 MGU! But for me alone I am thinking which one to get as I like XR Mondraker as well.Hopefully that’s gonna be my next bike 🤘🏽
Loving the customization options for the Orbea, but so far, only 3 color options here in California. Anyone know if we can order our own spec from the website? I've built a few different bikes on the site, but when I try to choose a dealer, none come up. Maybe I'm just old and non-techy.
Not sure 🤔 if you can do that in American I’ll try and find out for you
Still loving my Pivot Shuttle SL. So, I would go for the Saturn 16, for something different. Anyone know if it can be sent to the US?
If I had the money I'd probably go for Simplon Rapcon PMAX Pinion. Would like to sample that MGU and way over 1000 Wh of battery, with a range extender.
Spending my own money it would be the Polygon TLE or the Propain Shresh. I’m positive Polygon will knock the value out of the park and Propain’s packaging, customization, price, and design are really appealing. Another contender would be the Ari Nebo Peak. If any of those 3 go on sale this holiday season I will be picking one up. I’m not interested in $6k+ bikes with technology that is rapidly advancing that weigh over 41lbs. Gear boxes are the clear future once they reduce drag, weight, and cost. If I had to guess maybe another 5 years.
It would be the Orbea rise lt for me
Yep they have done a great job
CUBE are very good Bikes!
I would love the new gen 2 Orbea but to much. I also like the new Polygon but I think I would get the REI Nebo, this bike has the best price and REI has great customer service. Thanks for all the great videos and all the info.
I'm currently on a Levo but if I bought today the Orbea Wild would be my pick.
Loved the video, I'de buy the new Orbea Rise, love it
keep the great job!!!
Orbea rise, the geo fits me well, great looking bike, would be on my wish list
Looking forward to the Polygon TLe - R Carbon
And everytime I saw the rep talk to someone they mentioned the range extender, but it sounded like they said it was standard equipment. They also said the price, I think I was on 99 spokes video (maybe) that it was possibly going to be in the $6k range. Which is bananas considering the displayed bike had a t-type drivetrain… I think I’ll hold out and see what it looks like in production. Considering the top spec alloy sisku ebike is only held back by the suspension components imo, (They have a tendency to stiffen up in Canadian winters) I’m very interested in the brand.
The orbea wild, full send fat beauty.
Yep it’s a beast
Nice bikes is coming
