Sam Potter. I'm interested in seeing how you made that foot climber section. Been rolling thoughts in my head about how to make it and maybe seeing yours will help me.

Hello Sam, thank you for the info and video. How do you connect the foot tether to the foot "Y" bridge rope?

I have a 1/2” rope that goes through holes drilled in either end of the foot board that is tied in a continuous loop through a prussik that connects to the lower tether for adjustment.

Pretty hard to see much of what you did in the video because of the far distance of the camera to where you were. I couldn’t really tell what you were doing to go around limbs.
If you make another video, could you show closer up what your doing with your extra carabiner to get around limbs.

Can you get steady shots off the board as a platform and how comfortable is it?

Do you use the foot board for a platform???

Not usually- it would be pretty unstable in that regard. If you could strap it tightly to the tree it could work, but would need additional structural support.
