Such a comfort for us as we pray and see nothing.
Our prayers are heard by the God who sees and hears and who is working all things for our good as He conforms us to the image of His Son.

Praise God for the Spirit who makes this verse more illuminating through RC Sproul. Indeed, faith in my definition has grown larger and deeper that my words can describe. It is beyond human description.
We need that answer to prayer for our USA right now. Oh, Almighty Father, we need your transforming power here and now. We need our families healed, we need our people's heart turned to your Son, we need wisdom of true justice in our courts, we need our enemies to be defeated and pushed out of our country. Oh, Lord, let our spirit be renewed by the Revelation of your Love. We ask this humbly in the name of your son, Jesus
Your jingoism disguised as faith has misled the faithful and corrupted the faith. God sees no national identity. Pray for the Body of Christ. The USA is not “special” nor held above any other nation.
@@luxsuvlover Lol, this man’s prayer is a prayer we all need to make for our nation right now, but your progressivism has probably so taken over your heart that it’s more important to spew out “the USA is not special”, ‘the USA is not exceptional’, oh, and let’s not forget, “your jingoism”. @@luxsuvlover Be silent, Judas. Just as men in faith in days past prayed for the Nation of Israel... so too can men pray for their respective nations today. God's dialogue with Abraham show that if there are yet a few righteous in a country, the country will be spared devastating judgment.
Yes, America needs to repent, and repent fast, as did Nineveh.
But saying the USA is not special is foolishness, as it was, and is the only country founded by those whose primary purpose was to worship their creator.
