  • Zacharias the priest received a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: to offer incense in the temple of God. In this sermon, R.C. Sproul continues his series in the gospel of Luke to describe an even greater privilege that Zacharias received: the visitation of an angel.

Right after I was born in 1956 my mother received a visitation by the Angel of the Lord. The message He brought her was, "He wanted." I believe the messenger and I believe the message.

I have Sproul's book on Luke, but haven't started reading it yet. Are the books based on his expositional preachings?

Hello Carel, thank you for your question. Yes, the commentaries are in conjunction with Dr. Sproul's expositional sermons.

Srange enough, John the Baptist is very highly regarded in Orthodox church... they say that in Heaven, besides GOD an St. Mary, there is the 3rd important, John the Baptist, like a TRINITY?
I guess, because he Baptized and this curch believes that Baptism saves... John the Baptist is very significant
