- This is the home of Hank and Sally Spaulding. It is located in the mountains of southeastern Kentucky~ The house was built in 1922 and is celebrating 100 years this year. It is Georgian style architecture with an interior that has been taken further back in time to mostly 17th century English furnishings and decorating. The Spaulding’s had the log cabin constructed in the back yard some 18 years ago when they purchased the main house. The cabin has been used as a small shop with an overflow of English antiques.
Thank you😊 for preserving such beautiful works of art!
My husband and I went to Sally's place and she showed us through the house 🏠 and we also saw her antique shop that she has behind her house. Of course, we called ahead and she was very gracious to let us make an appointment. We traveled all the way from Maryland.

OH, I can't wait to watch this home tour. I know their home is amazing. I'm sitting down as soon as I clean the kitchen so I can enjoy it and not rush through it. Thank you!

@@Thecapeonthecorner oh wow!! I love your channel as well! I’ve recently subscribed to your channel and I love you! What a small world! 😁
I'd love to stay in that house. It's so posh and lush.
Those are absolutely beautiful lighting devices.
The paintings and decor are warm too.
Gorgeous
So beautiful! A feast for the soul ! Merry Christmas !
❤️
The music kind of remind me of Salsa, at some point in the video. It was nice slow German Salsa. Even I rocked, for the first time.
Any chance that you could visit some 18th & 19th century homes? Great filming and editing as always!
I don’t actually travel to these homes. The home owners are gracious enough to send me photographs and I create the video. 😊
These people were Germans, may have been of Polish variety, I do see some Austro, but it probably a Polish family.
