Drawing inspiration from the serene landscapes of the English countryside, Margo has curated a space that exudes warmth and character. Plush and patterned fabrics adorn every corner, creating an inviting atmosphere that beckons guests to linger awhile. The eclectic mix of period pieces adds a touch of timeless elegance to the home, seamlessly blending old-world charm with contemporary comforts.
Margo's signature palette of blues, accented with pops of vibrant red and rich earthy tones, sets the stage for an aesthetic that is both inviting and refined. Stepping inside, one is greeted by an array of family heirlooms lovingly incorporated into the decor, infusing the space with a sense of history and nostalgia. From cherished china collections to meticulously set tables, Margo's passion for creating beautiful, welcoming spaces is evident in every detail.
But it's not just about elegance and sophistication-Margo infuses her home with a playful spirit, embracing a mix of bright and cheerful patterns alongside traditional tartans. The result is a space that feels simultaneously cozy and lively, where every corner tells a story and every piece has its place.

Don't invite me over because I would probably never leave! This home is out of a storybook and it is positively beautiful.
Agree😂❤
😂
I absolutely agree! I love everything, especially the lovely way she mixes pattern and color, divine!
One of the best yet, Homeworthy!!! Accessible, creative, cozy, unique, colorful. She made her space totally her own and honored the history of her home without a huge budget.
I love small homes on homeworthy
Love small homes also! They are so much more relatable!
Me too!😊
Such a sweet home that comes across as comfortable and cozy. She's a gem. Love her insight on thrifting not buying a set.
I enjoyed watching this episode so much. So cozy! I have a very large house more than 4k square feet and this made me wish to actually have a small home. I believe small homes brings family together
Absolutely gorgeous home that doesn’t look like every other home…all white, no color etc. It’s so comfortable and cozy with all the collections and mismatched furniture and textiles and on and on!!! Love it!!!!
It's been AAAAGES since I've seen a REAL person's home totally pay homage to 1980's cottage core. There's nothing highbrow and high end about this charming, warm, light-hearted burst of happy folk nostalgia. I would never want Ms Roth to reveal the contents of her wardrobe and drawers in case the sartorial revelation ruined my fantasy (which is that that everywhere in her dressing room is stuffed with calico prairie dresses from Jessica McClintock, Laura Ashley and Gunne Sax). Thanks Margo for reminding me of my childhood and the magazines that fuelled my love of interiors and real estate. This was a very rare treat. 🙏🥰
Your comments take me back. My sunday dresses were Gunne Sax, and all of my prom dresses were Jessica McClintock. My teen bed set was Jessica McClintok. I just loved her florals and her girly vibe.
@@jamierussellville101 This is going to knock your socks off: czcams.com/video/4N0LebWh2og/video.html The Japanese videos on Tasha Tudor are sensational. Imagine this being your grandmother, going to visit her in the summertime...
@@jamierussellville101 If you go to the KADOKAWA channel, they have a sensational upload on American artist Tasha Tudor. Her cottage, the garden, the entire life she lives is the real thing, surely what spawned a million awful twee cottage core blogs and hokey channels. I fell in quite a rabbit hole of Japanese uploads of Tasha Tudor mini documentaries as they're so richly atmospheric and inspiring in ways I haven't time to expand on. I HEARTILY recommend you check them out as I think you in particular would really enjoy this extraordinary woman. I'd love to know what you think!
@@jamierussellville101 I hope you'll seek out videos on Tasha Tudor, especially the Japanese channel's uploads. That's the real deal right there.
This may be my favorite home! I’ve grown weary of all the open concept homes. I like individual rooms too. Beautifully decorated! Cozy and comfortable!
She deserves an award. Making pieces work and blend colors is a art. Her creativity is unmatched…I’m seriously in awe
I knew this was Margo's home immediately! I too, an an unapologetic maximillist , who loves mixing patterns and textures. Love your English pine pieces and inherited family handmade furnishings. So happy you left the butlers pantry in tack. It is such a cozy, homey space. The kitchen with that amazing blue hutch is perfect in that room. So completely unique and so totally you. The nursery is the sweetest ever. Using window cornices as shelving is genius. Its the first thing that caught my attention... besides the adorable giraffe!!! Just a magical room for a special baby. Thanks so much for sharing.
Well said
I love any episode with homes in the American South. The people are usually interesting, warm, and great storytellers. Their design sense really appeals to me.
Yes, we are! 😃
That's really nice! ♥ @tusia20_85
I am so happy homeworthy shows smaller homes decorating, as most people do not have houses larger than 2000sqft. So it is nice to see how these designers decorate their modest space.😊
I absolutely love that your living room isn't designed to accommodate a television. Your focus is on conversation and the guests within your home. Cheers!
Darryl
Margo, your home is SERENSIPITY!!!!!! My idea of a dream home. I am 62 and been married 44 years and raised2 boys on a one income household. I have found thrifted and yard sale items have made my home unique and guests always comment on my "unique" eye and way I display my treasures...... a beautiful home...
It was only a matter of time until Margo was featured in a home tour! Love her YT channel!
I love Margo’s CZcams channel. Her businesses and thrifting adventures with her husband are so inspiring. It was lovely to see her on Homeworthy! Two of my favorite CZcams channels :)
Just now realizing Margo hasn't posted in 5 months. Now I see why 😊
I just adore Margot's style. I wish I could layer so effortlessly and have it still look cohesive.
Margo is a delight, their home is charming. Small homes are a warm hug!
How refreshing. She is just the girl next door. Love her little cottage.
I like to see an hour episode, it brings me joy. Thank you homeworthy for bringing all of these beautiful homes to us
So happy to see a home featured that is not huge and out of reach for the average person. Very cozy. . .
This home is absolutely cheerful with
colors that flow subtly and perfectly.
This made me fall in love with natural color wood furniture again.
Absolutely dreamy
So interesting!! So much more enjoyable to watch than million dollar perfect homes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love the eclectic, quaint, and cozy vibe in this house. Very storybook and makes you think of Grandma's.
Yes on this Homeworthy! She’s knows how to make a home that’s down to earth, cozy and charming while within reach for many of us.
My favorite era of home builds! I can’t wait to see this house.
The best ever. Margo is such an authentic and talented woman. Congratulations on your baby girl. We have missed you. Your taste is as good as always, and I have really enjoyed this unexpected episode at the end of the day today.
Your home is beautiful! So cozy and charming l! I got several ideas! Thank you for sharing!!
Margo's love of and confidence in her design choices and use of beloved items and vintage is what makes this home so beautiful and inviting. My own taste doesn't lean quite as cottagey as hers, but I so admire everything she and her husband have done and the love and care that went into it. I'm also in awe of the garden, chickens and animals!
Love this cozy, country yet elegant home. Also the grateful lovely countenance of its creator. Such warmth!
I love that you are happy with your home and that you love all your things.
Ahhhhhhhhhhh l screamed with excitement when l saw you. I miss your videos so much . Where have you been .? I watch your videos over and over. You did a great job. I absolutely am obsessed with your style.
Very sweet home and property. It really does look like it could be in the English countryside. I especially liked the baby nursery and Mr Giraffe!
I have been following Margo for a few years. I just love her style and the fact that she loves and appreciates older pieces and uses them in suck a beautiful way.
What a beautiful home. It is decorated to perfection. With enough interesting and beautiful objects without being cluttered, overwhelming, or over the top trying to prove something.
Love all her touches and her finds. She is as beautiful as her home and invites you in. It is bright, inviting, and warm, she has done a good job with combining her colors and patterns. I love all the floral and plaids. Peace !
ALL I can say is WOWZA! This home exemplifies what this channel is about! COZY, UNIQUE,PERSONABLE and FUN!!! This one hit it out of the park!!!! Simply Beautiful!
I love everything about this! This is just my style, I could move right in! I also really enjoyed the sweet homeowner. I have a 1941 Cape style home in CT and decorate in a very similar cottage cozy style, with pieces that I have collected over the last 30 years. It does my heart good, to see a young person with similar tastes and not following trends! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness with the new baby to come! 💗💗💗
They have done so well with this house. I don't keep any dishes for 'best' either. Use them all and enjoy them every day. I'd have loved to have seen more of their house and garden. Wishing you well with the birth of your little girl, such a special time for you both.
This house is perfection. I agree with her; nothing worse than open concept or an overly huge home. The size of this home is absolutely lovely. Great job !!
A delightfully charming English inspired home… It evokes such joy & nostalgia, simply lovely!❤❤❤
Of all the pages that I view regularly yours speaks the most to me. I’m a maximalist and thrifter also. I also am not a lover of open concept. I’m a traditionalist and love pattern and texture too. Your 1924 home is so beautifully furnished. It is homey and comfortable inviting a person to sit and stay a while. I just found your page but have subscribed to all of your posts. Your huge mirror and your two English hutches are simply gorgeous! Stunning. Love your choice of wallpaper too. Your pastoral scene pictures are so well placed. You filmed this video so well showcasing your collections so beautifully. That gorgeous nursery will; I’m sure be well used by your precious new baby girl. Love it. That blue cabinet in your kitchen makes me envious. Beautiful copper cookware and farmhouse sink. It’s great that you “use” your antiques. I’m a huge homebody too. My favorite place is my home and I can tell yours is too. It looks well loved. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home.
Love the fact that you put family pieces in you decor just beautiful so very comfy and cozy
Beautiful and warm! Love your cozy vibe and enjoyed seeing your treasured antiques.
I love Margo and everything about her home and style. So precious! I could watch this over and over ♥️
Margo’s home is absolutely gorgeous! I love her design style. It’s warm and inviting, full of pattern and texture. She’s given me inspiration for my own home. This is probably my favorite home tour on your channel.💞😊
This is my favorite video ever from Homeworthy because she and I have the same kind of taste and her home is so cozy and interesting. She is a doll and I love that she and her husband have chickens and animals and will soon have a precious little girl to raise in that environment. Lovely home!
Lovely home. Lovely people. So happy for Margo as she loves to collect and cherishes her home and husband.
Really enjoyed this cottage! The homeowner has such charm. I love her mix of fabrics and those bows!! 💛💛
Yay! I have been following Margo for quite some time! I'm so glad Homeworty is featuring her!! She has a beautiful home that is mostly thrifted! I love that so much!!
I absolutely LOVE Margot's English Cottage Home!! 💚💚💚💚 The Living Room feels so cozy & warm! A great place to Gather & Create Memories!! 🤗. Her Kitchen, is such a Happy Place to get Creative!! 😄. So sweet that her Hubby loves to Cook! 👨🏻🍳. The Nursery, is so PRECIOUS!!! The Giraffe 🦒 is ADORABLE!! And I noticed a Theme with Horses 🐎🏇🏻. What a BEAUTIFUL Home!!! I could watch this over and over!! 😊😘😀
When in doubt paint it black. As a decorator I have found through experience black adds visual weight and classic drama to any space. This piece is beautiful and so versatile. The black color makes it elegant enough to be used as an entryway piece.
😍💘 Margo has a beautiful home!!! I wish she would come back to CZcams! I miss her videos!!
As soon as she said Winston-Salem (my hometown), I knew the neighborhood! What a treat! Made me a little nostalgic. Thanks, Homeworthy!
Your home is just something straight out of a storybook. I just love cozy English cottage and you have nailed it. Your collections of China are beautiful. Your daughter’s nursery is so special and soothing, just adorable. Thank you for sharing your home. You are so talented and creative.
OMG ITS MARGO! I LOVE HER HOUSE!!! SHES THE BEST!!
Lovely, cozy home, which is enriched by beautiful colors, patterns and textures. I’ve always preferred smaller cottage-style homes versus the sterile McMansions we have here in California. I bought a small mountain-style home in the SoCal mountains and have decorated it similarly with an abundance of color, textures and patterns. My Millennial daughter, who is a minimalist, says “there’s a lot going on” in my home, so it’s nice to see someone from her generation who is a maximalist! Thank you for sharing your home and congratulations on your new 53:14
YOUR HOME IS SOOO INVITING!...JUST CUTE BEAUTIFUL AND PEACEFUL! LOVE IT!! THANKS FOR SHARING!!
I love the color blue on your front door. I would also paint the inside of the door same color. The shelves in babies room are called wooden cornices. Gorgeous! As is your entire home. Very country English. Perfection.
What is the color of the front door? Sonpretty
Your style is lovely! What a beautiful home too. I love everything…but…if I may…your fireplace is hidden with all the baskets. Love the color of the mantle.
I love the repurposing of the cornice boards!
Love this house! So cozy and comfortable. Obviously designed with a lot of love.
An absolutely charming home. They have created such an authentic English cottage feel.
I love everything! Especially all the animals, and the multicolored eggs.
~ And the hostess looks so beautiful in her dress.
Miss you videos but I’m glad to see your home tour with new kitchen and nursery congratulations 🙏🏻🥰🤗🤗🤗one of my favorite CZcamsrs
One of the most charming homes I've seen. It looks like it has been well loved and good energy.
Finally! An English cottage nursery 😍 I’ve been designing my own and it’s so nice to get some more inspiration. Her mixing of fabrics, patterns, and colors makes my heart happy ❤️
O…M…Goshhhhh your home is absolute sheer perfection!! It’s a little piece of heaven for sure!! I love love love it!! I felt myself sighing a happy “ahhhhhh” sigh all the way through!! Oh and you’re SO adorable!!
Great decision to go with the tile in the kitchen. You hit it out of the park using tile with the same tone as your oak floors in the rest of the home. I've seen laminate used next to hardwood. You and Eric made the right call.
I live in the UK and this lovely home looks so English traditional Countryside to me…so unique in terms of Homeworthy featured homed…I love a home which is maximalist but cohesive…this home is a lesson in that …some maximalist homes can just be way too overwhelming ❤❤
Love Margo! She is a gem.
Margo thank you for inviting me to see your home. Your style is also my style. Absoultely beautiful. Blessings to you and your family and the little one too!
First of all I love your style. It fits everything I love and try to do in my own home. I’m happy to see all the prints you use throughout, it truly is a place where everyone will feel comfortable and at home. Beautiful
Your home is just wonderful; such a refreshing change from the "styled" homes I see everywhere. May I just note, that pregnancy suits you; you are glowing.
My new favorite Homeworthy video! What a dream!
this makes me so happy! I love Margo's CZcams channel and her sense of style is truly impeccable!
SHe says it looks English, as a French person, I would say it looks so French !! So nice
What a lovely family and home the baby will be born into 😊
Very very comfy curated decor. The backyard is everything. Enjoyed this tour so much.
This home reflecting both a sense of nostalgia and ingenuity. Amazing! ✨

My absolute favorite! This house is drop dead gorgeous and more importantly obviously a HOME❤ Love the gratitude and care for this home that shines through! This home proves you can have pets and be a down to earth family and still surround yourself with beauty and special furniture and art. 👏👏👏
We are certainly cut from the same decorating cloth! I love it! Cozy, warm, inviting, maximalist, joy-filled, airy, and sweet are the words I would use to describe this home. And it just so happens it is in the greatest state in the Union, NC! So extra kudos!
This is a wonderful home! Love all the decor. So traditional, warm and homey! I absolutely love the dining room!
Color at last! No white, black or grey, yea!
So happy to see you on Homeworthy, Margo! I have missed you and your delightful home! I recognized your voice first as I have Homeworthy streaming quite often!
Maximilists UNITE! I'm exactly the same..layered looks are in my subconscious.. and it comes out in every room I have. Beautiful home~ Minimilists are jealous, trust me. LOL
Being in the state of great furniture manufacturing, I expect nothing less. 🙌🏽✨
What an inspiring home Margo! I sat down with my coffee and began watching and absolutely fell in love! I know I’ll be watching this many times to learn all I can. I have the same philosophy as you but my home is not as pulled together as yours (yet)! Thank you for sharing and blessings to your little family. 😘
Love your decorating style. This is wht I love is the country home look. We live in a village ourselves, and have a brick home and many items were from parents, grandparents and even an aunt and great- aunt and great- uncle.
This is a place I would feel very comfortable and certainly know your little one will be very happy and enjoy such a sweet room and parents who will surround her with so much love, and a wonderful place to come home to!
Thank you for sharing your cottage. Blessings to both of you.
small houses rule- one bathroom is so doable
Welcome to NC. I have lived here all my life. I lived between Raleigh to Fort Bragg area. I love your home. Your basket are to die for. I collect them. I love the chest in the foyer area that has the stone top. My Aunt had alot of those pieces. I enjoyed your home. Thank you
I’ve always had a cozy soft chair in my kitchen…everyone always loves it!
Solid, well-built, and cared-for home. Smart purchase.
Love, love this house!!!! All the color and patterns just blew me away!
