Honorable mention to elc even 90 for being insanely fast and hard to hit, great camo so basically the best active spotter in the game
The balancing factor on the ELC is its bad DPM , with a better reload it would the top of that list.

Agreed, Vanguard with optics, vents, camo net and engine upgrade (removed enhanced info) is a maaaad load out. Who needs to know where you can pen a tank when you can Generally only pen the back/ sides of a tank in a vanguard anyway. By far my favourite active scout as you can be soooo distracting and annoying whilst racking up spotting
I sold my Skorpion G because it was constantly out of render or spotted... I couldn't hide the bloody thing anywhere!
Except for the Skorpion (because if you have the 130PM it doesn't make sense to keep the Skorpion), I agree with all the others, specially the Draugen.😉👍
Hey eclipse great video man extremely helpful with now I know how to set up my bourrasque. Suggestion for future video would be map guides for difficult maps that would help us new players.

I see where your coming from, but can't agree. It's just too slow for the current meta. Run into a light tank platoon your going back to the garage.
@@carguy718 your probably right, not a tank you will likely carry with but if you can get 3 or 4 reloads in the damage is ridiculous.

I have the first three and want the last two. The Scorpion G and the SU-130 pm I bought and earned (respectively) early on in my WoT carrier last year, so they are the first TD’s I used. Moving on to other TD’s made me realize these guys do a ton of damage and their tier and helped me learn patience and hunting skills. While I pin the Draugen, I have not played it a ton despite all the accolades it gets. Perhaps it will be a personal target this weekend.
While I would like the Raknorak, I have to admit I love playing my French Sommua and American TL-1 LPC ( both regular and the Cold Stone) and would likely play the Rag similarly.
The Bourrasque would likely play well to my patient-with-moments-of-impulsiveness and I have been on the receiving end of its 2 rounds many a time. Would feel like a heavy Trailblazer, and I’m ok with that.
Really good video Eclipse. I have all of those tanks. My rotation of vehicles I play to increase win rate and earn silver are from most played to least, Bourrasque, Ragnarok, Su 130Pm, and sometimes Scorpion G. *The most important things to have in current meta is speed, gun handling, camo* Burst damage is also a plus (autoloader)

This is a good list for less advanced players to follow when searching for a tier 8 prem to buy. If you are a more advanced player and want tier 8 premium tanks that will dominate and control the game I would look into the progetto 46, LT 432, t54e2
The more advanced you are with positioning the more impact you can have, and mobility and dpm are a must in these situations. I don’t see the need to get a tank destroyer for 50 or 60$ that has no armor and a hard hitting gun when there are plenty of those in the tech tree. These tanks are also often at the mercy of how your team does. The borask is a nasty little tank that is very competitive for high level play but the auto loader can get you in tough spots against good opponents which is why the auto reloader system on the 46 is superior because your hand is never forced but at any moment you can dump 720 damage into someone
The Progetto 46 is dogshit. Had it, traded it in for a better premium. As a new player I would avoid the Italians. There are way better tanks out there.
Nice list; i would add the Eradicator, which has 75% boost for Crew & Silver. Maybe the Iron Rain, Barracuda, T54E2... Just my opinion.
I have the final 3 tanks mentioned in this video and I 100% concur these 3 tanks are the best: 1. Ragnarok 2. Draugen. 3. Bourasque
Not only are they 3 great tanks but they're all fun to play. The Ragnarok is my go to tank for making silver. It took me awhile to play the Draugen effectively but eventually it all aligned and now I'm having great games with it. The Bourasque is basically a light tank with a powerful gun. It's got great camo and it's fast.
I don't play tank destroyers often so I don't own the other two tanks mentioned.
Draugen is likes an type 59 II without armor and worse premium rounds.
Borasque is on pc Version great but have the worst gunhandling of any tank i ever remember to played.
Fck the autoloader if u need to aim for an never ending time and only really rarly manage to hit booth shots. Mostly u hit one or no one and go 20sek to reload.
People are metioning the ELC EVEN 90 but no one is talking about the Hotwheels Spahpanzers which are literally better than the ELC in every way except for top speed and camo. I'm absolutely kicking myself for not picking up the Tiger Shark when it had an earn op.
Im not sure about that. I never struggle to shoot the hotwheels lights, but hitting the Even 90 is not easy (for me anyway). If the acceleration was better on the Hotwheels tanks, i think it would be closer to the ELC. Just my opinion though.
@@ghettostreamlabs5724 The hotwheels lights are certainly larger and easier to hit as compared to an ELC but when they're superior in pretty much every other metric I'd say that size is largely negligible.
However the tank you covered was not the Skorpion G but the plain Skorpion. Different tanks.
Not really much different about the two tanks except for the G and the fact that one has a skin. Same stats all around.

I would give honourable mentions to the Atomic Centurion, 112 and the STA-2 (the last two have a rare preferential matchmaking status, never see tier X)...
Completely off topic, I follow Mighty Jingles and there's been a walk out of the main CCs from the World of Warships team over a) increased use of loot boxes, b) not taking feedback seriously and c) continuous screw ups to the WoWs game that are not reversed and do not get fixed...sounds familiar, any thoughts?

I really wish Ragnarok, i saved some gold, i am just waiting for the time when will be able to buy 🙂 I am happy with Burrasque and Draugen. Happy with Yazi i trade in last week instead of SU-130PM 🙂 And the best trade in was tier VII Su-122-44 🤩

scorp has the maus gun lol. tier 8 with tier 10 gun. the s1 has great gun too, an su130pm in fact most tier 8 premiums td. su great camo.

My downfall are TD's..I'm the first to admit I suck with them..lol. I did get the slayer as a free tank a while back in a key card, so I should practice with it more.
The slayer is not so user friendly, but it do pack a punch.
I've been playing for 5 years and I'm still average with a TD. They just don't fit my style of play. I hate slow tanks. Mediums are my favs.

On a website for Bourrasque it says: Silver earn rate 150%, XP earn rate 110%...
Good tanks, but this list should be much longer, beacuse there are much more good premium tanks at tier VIII. For example you don't have any heavy tank on the list 😥
This is why I think heavy tanks are not in the list. Its because when your two tiers down in a heavy, you most likely would not have the same quality game as a TD or medium tank. Camo and mobility go a long way when bottom tier. Not very easy to carry a team to a win in a tier 8 Heavy vs 10s. Heavy tanks depend more on being top tier to have a good or respectable game.
@@carguy718 Good perspective. I definitely fair much better using my tier 8 mediums than my tier 8 heavies in bottom tier matches. Stealth and mobility are essential.
The Skorpion G is not broken. It‘s gun is the only good thing about it. It‘s camo and view range are abysmal, especially when compared to the SU-130 PM. It‘s mobility looks good on paper, but it barely reaches it‘s top speed and it‘s low hull traverse makes it quite clunky. The Draugen is a strong tank, but not broken either. It is basically a Charioteer with less pen on the regular ammo, and slightly better view range.
There are other tier 8 premiums which could be considered broken rather than these two. I.e. For a long time the ELC even 90/Vanguard was considered one of the best, and most annoying light tanks in the game. Another strong contender for most broken might be the T54E2/Sgt. Slaughter. High firepower, troll armor, and good versatility. Or the British equivalent, the Eradicator Caernarvon.
I have all of these, I'd swap them all of them for e75ts . These tanks are good but only great in a great players hands. The only one that really scares me is the borasque.

But if you ever do buy a premium I'd HIGHLY recommend one of the last 3 mentioned. Honestly, with those 3 you don't need any other premium tanks.

Draugen = type 59II without armor and worse Premium rounds wich u cant evan use for site shots coz hang on tracks.
Barrasque = great on pc coz patton like gun handling but sucks on console coz of the worst gunhandling on any tank i remember to play the last few years. it aims for a very long time and if its not full aimed u miss the shot.
I give a f.... on the autoloader because in 80% of situations u hit coz of the extreanly bad gun handling 0-1 of 2 shots and go 20sek to reload.
Btw have 300 battles on this tank (overall 12k with 76,5% of penetration shots)

anyone else feel the amx cda 105 is quietly competitive? Doesn't have great alpha of course, but the camo, mobility, and accuracy make it extremely fun to play IMO thus far (just over 110 games in it)

I love dueling Draugens with my Type 59-II, the extra armor and chassis angling beats any Draugen. Just dont show your right side at em cos thats where your Fuel and Ammo are.

Personally SU-130 is the best T8 TD by a metric fuck tonne 😂 it's ridiculous. After 6.0 accuracy just doesn't matter, thanks WG!

@@chiefkikyerass7188 only if you're dumb enough to sit toe to toe. Su will get first hit, better alpha, camo, speed and view range. If played properly diamond loses, it's a nice big yummy easy to kill hp piñata.
DPM is only good against a sitting target in the open, alpha is better for those who play properly 🤷♂️ petty is a fine example of this. Give him an Icebreaker, piss poor DPM, amazing alpha for it's tier and he'll just peek a boom his way through the field

1...Any of the 3 reds=..hydra...Ragnarok..Kv5..because these get u 75% silver..only tanks in game that offer that..plus they're damn good
2...The Diamondback by a BIG margin is the best prem at T8..serious dpm!..This tank carried me to 13 kills...in top T8 game...50% silver..front bounces more than it takes
3..Patriot is a beast..57% silver..u will kill with this tank
4.Super Persing 57% silver just a beast
5..Tiger 2..is still a money maker
Lets face it..you play premium for credits..and these will deliver the $$$$

Basically yes. Premium tanks is really all you need from tier 8 on down, but if you enjoy playing tier 10 tanks then grinding for them is necessary. Tier 9 & 10 tech tree tanks still have much relevance. But lower than that one might as well play a premium tank to help earn more silver.
