I have this vehicle and if you know hpw to use it then it's a perfect tank but you have to be a cool cat that takes time to get some damage cause taking hits will kill you but if you know how to play with it then you know how to handle it

I dont know about infuriating. When i get sent back to the garage, i just grab another tank and try again. I actually enjoy the game and am not opposed to getting blown up. Tanks blow each other up all the time. Nice to see you and Riki teaming up.

Lets see been fighting with a Chinese t34 getting upteired to 8 cant pen anything and get spotted at spawn. Then i tried russian heavys to get is4 then the heavy with a derp gun of 86 pen cant pen crud honesty am burnt out

The game is a damn disaster and it just gets worse one free tier 10 op premium at a time. WG are plain out hypercapitalist greedy scum that would do anything for money. They have ZERO integrity and no long term plan other then pimping out their game for as long as it pays a quick buck

It’s a game late in its development cycle. It’s all about gimmicks and nothing about skill. This is especially true for Cold War. Auto lock drive around in a circle and farm someone. It’s just all so boring

If you haven't noticed by now...be very careful of what you ask for with wg! As most of us know, when wg decides to address an issue, in any of their games, on any platform, they usually end up creating 5 new issues. Thus the continual downward spiral of player satisfaction and upward momentum of increased player griping!! As here we are currently! Hahahahaha 😂

I agree totally with you Eclipse. I love playing heavy and super heavy tanks. As i play my E100 or Maus i make it my duty to kill at least one of the huge guns on the enemy team and damage another severely. The super heavies there armor might not work anymore like they used to but thankfully we still have some hp to trade. The only real trouble is offcourse when more then 1 big gun comes around the corner at the same time. Then its Fubar for everyone trying to take a stand no matter what tank you are in…

Wargaming : Heavies' armor actually works for me once every 10 game . Nobody will pen them and they can destroy the entire team in those games. The only problem is those 9 games 😂

Nobel for Eclipse ! He just discover wot is pay to win game ! WG can't wait for good players money, they spend nothing. So life is tugh , WG needs money of 80% of players (noobs, idiots, nuts, stupids...), they are terrible players BUT they have money, just give them what they want : high alpha, high speeds, unpen armor ! And they will have fun and wins sometimes. Without pay to win tanks, 80% of players never win a game.

These game developers suck and that's the bottom line. The game will never be good again. It's just auto lock shoot game anymore

I kinda hope they don't nerf HE like they did on PC. Gold rounds really took over after the HE nerf there. Got much worse, in other words. Premium round spamming is already bad enough on console enough since 6.0. I would hate to see it become like it is on PC.

Was just having a nice game in my Leopard. Close match. Got one shot by an AVRE and subsequent fire from 350m, I don't think he even came to a complete stop as well as I shot him while he moving full bore down a hill.

That Rogal Dorn is also a problem as is its friend the Leman Russ.

Im so glad im somwhst glad this is address. Although its nit just HE its premium rounds overall. This game is becoming increasingly more and more damage focused ignoring the tanking aspect. I mean super heavies now a days are borderline pointless a maus hides more often then not its kinda sad ti see as i can still remember the older more sinple days where all classes had their part. Heavy tanks, tank destroyers ,light tanks etc

Imagine wg answer is to use armor reduction perk and equipment with a spall liner to counter. Especially when minus 2, even in super heavy. Dont know if the console needs a he rework like pc version fully but would like some what a balance for it. I'm getting annoyed with the fact that firing on the move tends to yield more hits on target than stopping and aiming fully more nowadays and shots magically getting absorbed by tracks even on lightly armouring tank. (Good example was a borsig side but got absorbed by tracks with a 100mm gun ap.)

WHY IS IT RIGGED…VERY SIMPLE…MONEY. Plain and simple and will only get worse. When I started playing this game at least 8 years ago you could achieve over 20 skills for a crew and BUT you couldn’t change that commanders nation for gold or swap his skills out with another commander or another nations commander for silver. You had to grind and grind to build a decent crew. The premium tanks were slightly nerfed versions of its tech tree counterpart and the only advantage to owning one was it received bonus to Silver, Commander XP and Free XP. The CAMMO NET didn’t enhance your concealment until your tank was motionless for at least 5-6 seconds. If you moved at all it deactivated until motionless again for 5-6 seconds. YES the game was FREE to play but it encouraged and taught you to put in the WORK to build good crews and complete grinding a tech tree line to completion which in turn took a lot of playing time which in turn you developed your skill and experience. The feelings of accomplishment was the reward. The feeling you got from completing a tech tree or just reaching the vehicle you wanted in the that line or achieving another Skill for your crew you were building was exhilarating. SO WHAT HAPPENED??? MONEY is all that matters folks. This game is now designed to make profit. It is catered to younger and inexperienced players and the game has been changed to in order to keep them happy and playing. The only way to do that is to give them help. YOUNG players these days are impatient and just want to play and have fun now. They aren’t going to keep playing a game against experienced players and keep getting slaughtered for very long. They will get frustrated and quit and find something else to play and never come back. They don’t have the patience or care about the feeling you get from millions of hours of grinding a tech tree or a 20 skill crew. They just want to play and do good enough to get some kills and some wins and reach TIER TEN as fast as possible so they can feel accomplishment NOW. So WARGAMING in order to appease these younger inexperienced players and keep them playing and in turn spending parents money on the “FREE” game has catered the game to them. HOW? FIRST they made PREMIUM TANKS better than the tech tree tanks. So now little BILLY can have a fully upgraded tank that makes good silver and can choose ANY tier tank he wants even tier Ten. He no longer has to grind countless hours hours to reach tier ten in the tech tree. He can just go buy a tier ten. SECOND - NO SKILL NO PROBLEM. WARGAMING has created PAY TO WIN or at least PAY TO COMPETE tanks such as CENTURIAN AVRE , LEMAN RUSS ETC… that a young player can play with no clue what he’s doing and basically no crew skills and yet still have some fun and get a few kills. That’s all it takes to keep them playing. Just a little MONEY and little BILLY can have a tank that keeps him happy and playing and spending money on the game. THIRD- RNG help. I’m sure I’m not the only experienced player who notices that the game seems to HELP more experienced players at critical moments to try and give them extra chances to win a brawl. I can’t count how many times I’ve had a player dead to rights and penned him repeatedly until he has one shot left then all of sudden can’t pen him for three more shots giving him a chance to kill me instead. FOURTH-The flood of kiddie emblems and decals and goofy cartoon and animated commanders … the fluorescent colored CAMMO paint jobs etc… all catered toward young kids to make their tanks pretty. You never saw this crap when I started playing this game. BOTTOM LINE is the game is designed to keep Little Billy playing. They will keep pumping out new premium tanks in different flavors so Little Billy will keep buying them and mom and dad will keep forking over the money to keep him playing so they can distract him for hours a day so they can have some alone time. It’s not going to get better folks. The only reason I keep playing as do a lot of other veteran players do is I hate to quit something I have put so much time into but I’m about ready to say goodbye. It’s no longer fun to play a game that is designed to handicap me and frustrate me so that Little Billy will not lose interest and quit spending money on the game.

With only the Death Star and the barn you use to only see one every few games. And even then unlikely to hit by it. Know you see at least two big guns every game if not more. Seems pointless playing at the moment, even the newest player can beat a highly skilled player, using these big guns. Just not a fun game to play right now. Got missiles in Cold War and this big derp guns in WW2, just pointless.

I think the HE is doing what it's supposed to. Tanks with a lot of armor just sitting hull down. If big guns are settling 3 to 4 hundred with long reloads, there not being effective.

PC solved this with HE mechanics changes. HE does almost no damage vs armor.

I've been playing for 10 years and I don't play anymore because you used to have to use your head. You used to have to know the maps, weak points on the tanks and more importantly tactics now all you can play is a handful of tanks and yolo into the operation and spam premium rounds. What's the fun in that. The game worsens yearly because of power creep and trying to sell premium vehicles without balancing the rest of the meta. And what's really getting on my nerves is Wargaming giving away premium tanks for free with an earn operation for free which in the past I've purchased for gold without getting people who have purchased the tanks to get a refund on the gold they spent. what's everyone thinking should you get a refund if a tank you have paid gold for comes up in an earn operation. Or should it be OK? If you earn the tank all you get is the silver value, not the gold and who needs silver with premium time and you have more than 200 tanks and 3700 days of gameplay

I Just started grinding the M60A2 from Cold war, and let me tell you, if you plan on using the HE is not just quick snap and shoot, it actually helps if you aim, for example i hit an FV 4211, that is a heavy tank with a bit too much armor, o if you hit randomly you might do 200 damage and wait for a big reload, but while aiming at the commanders hatch, BOOM instant 870 Damage, Pro tip for HE tanks, aim at the weakspots.

Can you make a video to cover for that sleeping player that the point reward on the missions for the seasons has been reduced once more from 5 to 4 points? This will hurt the quality of life for adult people who play for 30 min or less,

I think there is value in having HE do chip damage, just to give you an option against tanks you cant pen. But there need to be an upper limit, poorly aiming with the 4005 shouldnt still get you more damage then some tier 10 heavies who aim. Personally I would drop splash damage, but up module damage. Give the HE shell a support role, break view ports and barrels to make the heavy worse, but not be able to out brawl them.

I just play now not trying to complete contracts or season pass just going with the flow. Didn't spend any money on the game this season feels like I'm not pressured to play.

The problem in this game, players are playing on full gold... Gold bullets are too cheap.

I'll argue the FV is balanced. It has no turret armor and you can easily pen it with HE. It has no concealment and it's massive. That's balanced. The AVRE and it lower tier Churchill version need restrictions. Either turret traverse limits to force them to face forward to fire or they need easy weakpoints. The Taran probably should have a nerf to its concealment as well, at least a small one. The AVRE at minimum needs to lose its front plow and limit its turret traverse. It should not have a 360 turret.

When i play the 4005, I have not used the HE very often because it does such little DPM with that round unless you can catch people. BUT I do play the KV2 with the derp gun and rarely use anything other than the HE rounds. The big hits with that are not all that often but it really is fun. I hate the Taran.

TLDR: The number of derps has DOUBLED in the last 5 years. This is bad for the game. They have no counter. Add superheavy spall liner back in. Derps have no counter. Superheavies SHOULD be their counter. There are SO MANY tier 10 derp tanks that have been added in the last 3-5 years. My issue with them is that they completely negate a very important skill and a very important part of the game. Armor angling and armor respectively The tier 10 derps added recently: AVRE 114 Sturmtiger Taran Hori Object 268 v5 Ruthless Nemesis (Not a problem. Not overpowered. Balanced more like a 4005 with less damage and more armor) The original derps: JagE100 4005 215b183 Type 5 The heavies/tds that CAN derp: 60tp T110E3 T110E4 T58 E100 VK 72.01 (K) Deathwaffle - Not too OP. Requires map awareness and enemy team awareness. ST-2 Ob 269 Ob 263 Ob 268 v4 Foch As you can see, the number of derps has DOUBLED in the last 5 years or so. This wouldn't be a problem if they were balanced like the original derps, but some are WAY overtuned. In order of OP-ness (Determined by the power to push + affect the game) Taran - So OP it doesn't need to push. Camo is dumb, gun is absurd, reload is very fast, pen is very high. AVRE - If three of these who aren't played by bots push a flank with any cover, the flank is lost. Armor means nothing and they can bounce ENTIRELY too much. Reload is\ WAY too fast. Camo is far too high. Vision range needs a nerf. ETC. Sturmtiger - This is only on the list because it is in the category. It is not OP and requires a BRTUAL grind to get. Hori - No complaints. Pretty balanced, though flat armor is rough. 268v5 - Has too much armor for its camo rating. Hull down it is strong enough to play as a heavium. Gun is absurdly strong. Ruthless - My first game I did upwards of 5k. It is balanced by a long reload, but again, derp tanks have a massive natural advantage in not needing to aim. Nemesis - Who is going to complain about this tank? It is not OP. Overall - The creation of so many tanks that negate/bypass armor is bad for the game. Armor angling is a skill and it should ALWAYS matter. Perfect armor angling in the Maus should not be easily punishable. I think adding back in the superheavy spall liner would be a non-intrusive way to help this. Making superheavies the natural counter to derps is the way to go. Derps are too effective against superheavies as-is, as derps are already lethal to both mediums and lights.

Cold War is just a hundred mph derp fest too.

Constructive dialogue: first off i'll preface this with, no, the AVRE and Taran aren't even slightly balanced nor would i argue that they are, but let's use the clip you showed... There are several high dmg HE tanks facing you down a corridor that you say "are where heavies normally go". Clearly that didn't happen in this game so why not adapt and re-position to avoid the scenario rather than entrenching yourself there because you feel you should be able to? I agree with the general sentiment that there are too many high alpha dmg tanks being sold at the moment, but at the same time, Wargaming are damned if they do damned if they don't. Don't believe me? Let's use artillery as an example. The community complained that they were unfair and had too much dmg while being at the back of the map safe from being hit. Wargaming changed them and modified them so they deal less dmg now and people still complain about them. Eclipse unfortunately is just as guilty for this. Every single video where artillery either aims at him or hits him the response is always words to the effect of "disgusting little rat sitting at the back of the map" etc etc. Overall my point is, while yes, some tanks are just not balanced, can we try to improve the rhetoric and stop the constant complaining about everything and instead offer constructive feedback? Here's hoping 🫡

I got the AVRE cause I wanted to get a bit of a taste of how the high alpha derps work at tier 10, but I didn't expect it to actually be so brainless to play. I'm a painfully mid player at the game with a 52% winrate and I still find myself getting consistent results in the tank without even using premium rounds. It's stupid to play both with and against, and with all the other high alpha tanks in the game it really just makes stock grinding such a pain when you simply can't compete with these tanks. As much as I disagreed with the HE nerfs on PC im starting to feel like it might be needed to actually balance these tanks that torment the matchmaker so much

What War Gaming will do to fix this is that they will raise the tank damage up higher. (To compensate for high HE rounds)

You've just described a normal game for me. I've been wondering why anyone would play anything other than a high alpha tank for a while now.

It used to be that the high alpha guns were only really obtainable at tier 10 after you grind it through all of the tech tree tanks to get there. I remember when I was grinding for the death Star. It was such a horrendous slog going through the nightmare of playing the tortoise. I finally got to the death Star and was rewarded with a wonderfully tuned weapon. I remember the thrill of being able to one shot a tier 8 tank. Finding a positioning on the map looking for a tank to shoot. The excitement of the shot was riveting. Finally seeing that Tiger 2 driving at me in aiming the shot waiting for the gun Bloom to come to a complete zero on the aiming circle and pulling the trigger. Watching that tier 8 disappear only to send the noob to the garage. The fact is I earned the right to do that because I grinded through the tortoise line. Now you can just buy a Tarran or an AVRE without any understanding of how the tank works possessing no skill whatsoever and being protected by an algorithm to make sure you don't get slaughtered by the veteran players. I'm just going to load HE in auto lock and shoot anybody and score 400. The sad thing is is wargaming change the way the death Star works. They lowered the alpha and ruin the tank. They listen to all the complainers without honoring our work to get the death Star and then they turn around and they sell a tank like the Tarran. Look the Taran's a great tank. It's made the death Star pointless. I guess wargaming will do anything for money even if it's bad for the balance of the game. And then on top of all that you have the BS RNG algorithm in the game as well. I don't know just my thoughts
