Ryan's left hook is off the charts. I've been watching Boxing since Ali Vs Leon Spinks. And I have to say, I've never seen a left hook as fast as Ryan. And the speed of Ryan's punches. I saw a 3 punch combination that was faster than lightening. Speed kills. And now Ryan has his Man strength. If this kid focuses. And at least slows down on the Alcohol and smoking. I'm willing to say the sky is the limit for this kid. But he has to remember, that there's another force of nature that wants to bring him down just as fast. And he needs to be smart. We all know the 3 pounds isn't what matters, it's Garcia stopping depleting his body to avoid cutting those pounds. Also it's boxing and there's weight classes for a reason. As a previous alcoholic who now suffers from chronic pancreatitis which is necrotizing over time and literally can’t drink or it’ll send me to the hospital. I don’t want this for anyone I want to support him but I can’t because he needs to hit rock bottom. Sober Garcia who is focused is better over all
The energy yielded from rebounding off rock bottom makes it all worth it.
I hope your condition can improve over time with good diet and healthy lifestyle. I also have organ damage from self medicating. 10 years ago I would have bet it would not happen to me.

Self medicating, so numbed by chemicals that the deterioration is easy to ignore. Symptoms get away from you. The only thing that numbs it is the thing that’s causing it. And relying on the NHS in the UK for help who just want to attempt first line defence for 6 months and then put you on a waiting list for a year to get seen at the hospital.

Compubox had Ryan winning 8 to 4 rounds against Haney. That’s without the three knockdowns. It should’ve been five knockdowns had the referee counted the other two. It was a dominant performance on the part of Ryan.
I think the issue is Ryan Garcia claims he lost the fight to Tank because he made the weight & the cut was too hard. Did look a lot worse making a full cut. So you can’t logically say the cut doesn’t matter when you win not making weight after saying the cut matters when you lost. Also Saying not competitive is tough to hear. Seeing that everybody had Haney up 5 rounds to 1 after 6 rounds. So was winning until he got caught in the 7th. Never really was on steady legs again after. Ryan won but Haney won the first half of that fight. Charles Olivera didn’t make weight for the title. You had more of an issue. Several insults over the years since. Why does Ryan get a pass? The 3.5 might not of mattered but it helped him weigh about 15 more pounds on fight night than Haney.

Haney probably outweighed Lomachenko by 20 pounds, and many felt he lost that fight.
Haney has been outweighing all of his opponents until he fought Ryan. That’s something to think about.

Ryan probably could’ve made weight at 140 lbs and chose not to so he could have a slight advantage leaving devin drained from the weight cut and Ryan fresh it’s not much different than what he complains tank did to him to get an advantage in their fight at 135 lbs and it’s not hard to see in tank vs Ryan how the weight cut affected Ryan nor in Ryan vs devin how the weight cut affected devin. It's the toll of taking those 3 pounds off Chael. So Devin pushed himself to nearly unhealthy limits and Ryan did not. I don't think the results change if Devin weighs in at the same 143.2 as Ryan but the results might change if Ryan weighs in at the same 140 as Devin.

Ryan managed to impose his will on Haney a few times to score some big rounds after that. Even in the end the judges had it close, it was a close fight. not a nail biter but by boxing standards was a close bout. That's all i'm saying.
