I know it's gone on so long but if he is now set to come back. I'm glad he is thinking in the way of coming back first to 3 rounds. It's harder for him doing 5 rounds & there's really no need to do it for his first fight back. It will make for a better fight from both men & gives Conor a much better chance of winning by the judges if he doesn't ko Chandler. It also, as he says let's him build up to it cos he is so long been out the game. It would be crazy expecting someone out so long to go straight back to 5 rounds. U can prepare for it in training all he likes but it's completely different on the nite cos Ur energy can go quicker cos of Ur adrenaline for the big night

Against Kahbib Conors take down defence was very impressive
He was 2 years retired and came back injured leading up to this fight. You could cleary tell his strikes where weakened by his balance due to the injury. So between ring rust , injurys. and to win a round before losing focus. Fair play. If the fight was two years earlier. Id say khabib would be asleep. That fight against alvarez was proves my theory. He was at the peak of his career. Won two titles in two different weight classes at the same time whilst holding both together. Then money may weather offers $100million which any one would take. He had nothing else to achieve. If he had of stayed in ufc . He wouldnt be as rich and still wouldn't have won any other titles he hadnt already held. Smart man and an awesome fighter. Well done
