    I spent 70 on a drill from amazon and it caught on fire. I bought a 30 dollar drill and it doesn’t fail..lesson is don’t sleep on Walmart’s tool section

      I've had two jigsaws in my life my first one was a Ryobi blue color I got like 21 years ago motor burned out my late uncle felt bad had his old Black & Decker lying around just needed a little TLC in that thing worked like a champ for years I've only gone to one set of carbon brushes on that since I refurbished it but in the commentator started acting up and I was out running it'd be like Sparks going around it not safe anymore so I went and bought a skill 4.5 ah from when Bosch owned them it takes you shank and t shank blades perfect for my needs and I think I only paid $25 for it online can't complain I have nothing against the hyper tough

    hi from Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. Great video. I like that you strip the old tool before throwing it out, keeping screws and the cable. That's practical and smart. most people wouldn't think of this. thanks for the tip.

    I've been using my Hyper Tough electric saw for over 5 months with no issues. Made everything from wood wrench holders, cuts for blanket ladders rungs, circular holes for speakers going in speaker boxes, etc. Got some good blades and works great. Thanks for the video!

    I'll be dang, the case DOES fit perfectly! Ha! How lucky is that? Now you'll have to find some free online plans for making some wooden garden projects. You don't have any excuses now, LOL. (Maybe a bat house or purple martin condominium with flames painted on it?) Nice video to put out just as people are getting excited about their new spring projects. Thanks!

    I always go with higher quality tools. I prefer Milwaukee, but my jig hasn't worked and I needed to work on a project. I was in a pinch and went to Walmart, they had this jig on clearance, I got it for a whopping $8.92. best $9 ever spent.

    I've been doing a bunch of remodeling work for an art gallery and Walmart's Hyper Tough stuff has been keeping it on budget and gets the job done. I almost bought their cordless jigsaw today but ended up with just a handsaw (small job). Now I'm wishing I would have grabbed this guy instead.

    I have a similar cheap jigsaw, i bought it for 25Euro. It's a German made. It's Fantastic! Does the job for me! Of course if you are a professional it might not be the best tool, but for anyone who might have to work with wood, or for crafting, hobby, these cheap ones are the best!

    I bought the jigsaw you are showing.
    As I was cutting the blade lock came off???
    I bought it around a week ago.
    I don't have time today to take back.
    Can you help me fix it?
    I can't send you a picture to show it to you.

    clean the copper ring on the end of the shaft replace carbon brushes and repurpose it for a scroll saw.

      @@theflamingpi I returned it and got the battery powered one from hyper tough for a few more bucks and have no issues with that one. All the reviews I saw on this one say its defective. I tried good blades and it didn't help.

      @theflamingpi Před 2 lety

      @joatmon Damn. Okay. I can't return mine, unfortunately. I wonder why CZcamsrs all seem to be able to use literally any blade they want, including u-shank, and we can't even get it to hold a good t-shank.

  • @ElKabong61
    @ElKabong61 Před 3 lety +2

    Great design, but real cheap parts. The hole in the cog got "warped"--no longer a circular hole, so it wiggled around instead of turning smoothly and really can't be fixed. Scrapping for parts. Will spend more next time as it's a useful tool and I'll want a good one.

      I highly recommend a Milwaukee M18 fuel. It cuts like butter due to the torque of the brushless DC motor and 3500 strokes per minute, lasts a lot longer, less vibration, and much better build quality. Makita, Flex, Bosch, and Dewalt also make great jigsaws.

    The only thing wrong was the carbon brushes you could’ve replaced those they were too short to be effective.

  • @Swoliosis1
    @Swoliosis1 Před 2 lety +1

    Seems like this thing always wants to run from the straight line by a degree or two. Even looking at your camera shots from the bottom... the blade doesn't seem perpendicular to the bottom plate.

    Hi, 2 years ago I bought this jigsaw and I have only cut straight wood. The instructions say that with the included blade it can be used for curves, but I don't know if that means that I can cut wood in circles, could you please help me with my doubt? I will appreciate it very much, Thanks for sharing.

    • @FunBubble
      @FunBubble  Před rokem

      hi, yes it can cut curves. while the tool is cutting forward guide to the left or right and the cut will start to curve. the narrower the blade the steeper the curve can be. you can also push forward and pull back and slowly create a really tight curve. practice on a scrap piece of wood.

    • @Dany94086

      @@FunBubble Oooh thanks for answering. That's what I'm trying to say, I want to make tight circles of wood with the blade that came with the jigsaw, that's the only blade I have. I'll try to do what you say, thanks again.❤

    • @FunBubble

      try not pushing forward as hard. a gentle forward motion and let the blade do the work. if that doesnt help maybe try a different blade.
