I'm thinking is Adam Cole sick? Remember Brodie Lee? He wrestled while "sick" for as long as he could and he never looked emaciated. Does Cole have some hidden disease that he's been dealing with for a number of years and we will feel like A holes once we find out?

Adam Cole was in much better shape in NXT because he was in the Performance Centre every day doing drills and workouts. It was probably a prerequisite. Now that there’s no prerequisite in AEW to work out and he can play video games and hang out with Britt Baker in his time off and make more money, whats even the point. If he was in WWE now under HHH, he would be gearing up for a IC or a US title match for Wrestlemania
He respected Hunter and Shawn immensely. I think he'd be embarrassed beyond words around those guys not to at least put in the work.

I’m convinced that TK doesn’t push the gym on his talent after seeing the progression of Adam Cole, Jon Moxley, Parker Boudroux, and a couple others I can’t think of at this moment.
No crap this was easy to tell in the first year of watching! Look at Cody he was getting fat in aew and now he's shredded. Look at Keith Lee in aew fstter than ever and Grey hair! This is with alot of talent in aew just giving up cause TK IS A JOKE!!!

I watched the reality show for AEW. Holy shit don’t ever let Britt Baker have a turn on the mic because she never stops talking. I was overwhelmed by it. Adam Cole is definitely getting strapped by DMD. 😂

AEW reminds me of the New Blood in WCW. Except I’d rather watch The Natural Born Thrillers over House of Black or Dork Order any day of the week.
Really??? I don't like all the magic shit but I fuck with their (HoB) look and in-ring work. I also like the dynamics in the group. Buddy can really GO in the ring. He lowkey reminds me of a poor man's Benoit (respectfully, and its actually a complement). He has that hard hitting, technical style (kinda) mixed with a little cruiserweight style. Brody is the beast of the group. All power moves and rarely leaves his feet unless its necessary. Black is the Muay Thai guy, the MMA/Striker. Sometimes his kicks miss but majority of his strikes look legit. Not to mention they all can sell pretty well. Buddy is built like a fucking tank and moves like a cruiserweight as far as speed. One of the best physics not just in AEW but WWE as well. I can actually see why you and Corny aren't fans of them simply because of everything they do before the bell rings but its hard to deny their talent. Brody doesn't need to be a technical wizard. Hell, Black doesn't ever get this recognition but he can really cut a good promo. I think Julia Hart's role is well placed but it should be someone else who can actually work (Kris Statlander would be perfect for that role). I just think the Pencil fucked up their gimmick. They should be booked better to seem like legitimate stars.
My wife said to me tonight after another garbage episode of dynamite. "I dont think i can handle watching aew with you anymore. You criticize it too much, when you were the biggest fan a year ago." My response. "If we are gonna watch gymnastics, can we at least watch professional gymnasts at the olympics then?"
She was silent. Then i said "if you want to watch pointless gratuitous violence. Can we at least watch sons of anarchy or breaking bad again?"
A year ago we had Punk, heel Danielson, MJF, Cole coming in, FTR and the Elite shaping up, hell Christian, Starks and Hobbs waiting to shine with Wardlow over as fuck and the Acclaimed on the way..
Now? Yikes.

My brother used to be a local indie wrestler here in Nova Scotia. He used to perform for some really small audiences. Even though there was a possibility the crowd would be less than 100 people, he would still get pumped at the gym and go lay on a tanning bed before every show. He put the effort in for the "small time" so it blows my mind when guys like Adam Cole wont put in the effort for the "big time"!

I know it's a year later but they are two sides of the same coin. Attack winner after match, backstage brawls, bad comedy, worked shoot promos , endless stipulation matches for no logical reason. The ONLY difference between the two is Russo hated in ring wrestling and TK looooooves 20 minute matches. Russo could get 5 matches with entrances in for every AEW match. They are the same. They are writing show for themselves and only themselves
I know I look like a skipping record here, but Stevie Richards sprayed the fire extinguisher at Trish Stratus, so the heel using it on the baby face is another lesson Tony Khan learned from WWE. To be fair to WWE though, in the next match Richards missed Stratus and accidentally sprayed another heel. Whichever agent was on hand clearly wanted that corrected.
