Facts
The Hardly Boyz HAVE to go away, they go out of their ways to ruin these shows.
I read recently that only 10-20% of people are on Twitter, and of the actual content only 1% of those people produce over 90% of the posts and content. It feels a lot more like real life when you’re on it than it actually is. That’s why people are surprised when election results and so on go a way they didn’t expect, you create your own little world, mostly of stuff that you find annoying, then assume that’s what the whole world is. In conclusion, the Nyla Rose story is a storm in a teacup.

Election polls have nothing to do with twitter. Polls are off because Republicans are more motivated to show up, less likely to participate in a poll, and, in the case of Trump, more likely to lie because they don't want to admit that they'd vote for him. That being said, the polls have never been as far off as some would have you believe. Hillary won by 3mil and Joe smoked Trump.

I think people have a paper thin idea of his personality based off the media as well as social media morons crying about mean tweets and old misogynistic clips that they then blew out of proportion. I don't think most people that claimed to hate Trump as president could name any bad policy he enacted. Most only know about him making the border wall a reality. I'd bet that a lot of the non Twitter using "Trump haters" could be swayed the other way. Not saying they need to love the guy, just that he really did a lot of good as president.
Guarantee Cole when he's career is said and done, will admit the greatest part of his career was his years in NXT. The Undisputed Era domination, the multiple NXT championship runs and all the killer matches and feuds.

Wonder how Adam Cole feels to know his wife has more muscles than he does.
When Jim talked about the guy with the Nyla sign and went into talking about the level of sensitivity in wrestling now it really hit home. It made me realize more and more that what's missing for me in wrestling now is heels getting actual dangerous heat. I know part of it is that kayfabe is gone. Another part though is the political correctness, and like Jim, I'm not right wing at all personally.
I was with him on most of it but just because you don’t like a black man that don’t make it ok to call them the N word. You can’t justify that regardless, if it wasn’t about color why weren’t they calling The Horsemen or all bad guys the N word so that part was wrong but everything else I’m with it..
@@ogpetway5147 Oh I'd never justify saying that. Surely times have changed from when Cornette started in wrestling. But there has to still be a way for heels to get legitimate heat, still be protected by their companies from the fall out, or otherwise the matches are somewhat meaningless.
Dangerous heat isn't needed. Big difference now is you can get the real names online and address. Too many crazy nuts that would kidnap a wrestlers kid or wife while the wrestler is on the road lol.
I really think nowadays, even with every fan being smart, that a guy like MJF can sit back and be like "what can I do to make my TV personality hateable today?" Even though we may know Joe Ano'ai is a cancer survivor and doing phenomenal work, doesn't mean you can't make us hate Roman Reigns. If you still focus on the fundamentals instead of trying so hard to be so "inside", it will still work.

I feel like they are pushing Page at the wrong time. The time to push him was like a year ago when there really weren’t that many stars and you could push him as the top guy. Now you have CM Punk and Daniel Bryan, real stars, and it feels like the time to push one of them instead
What the hell happened to Adam Cole's body? He's always been small but in NXT he was more shredded than that; at least in the early days of the UE. I haven't watched any pro wrestling in about 2 years but geez, he just let himself go kind of, didn't he?

It doesn't take away the fact he's still a man. How do they yell cosplay is bad and then not have an issue with nyla when that's exactly what this is....cosplay! You won't let women and men fight but because he wants to be a lady, it's alright...it demeans the women's division. Cornette gets a bad rep, if people in the wrestling industry actually took in what he is saying and not taking it personally, then the industry would be in an even better place. I just am starting to get sick of the same matches/moves over and over again.

They are not gonna put the belt on Danielson because a) Page only won the belt a month or so ago, b) Danielson would be proving something correct to us fans that we all have been saying for years - that he ALWAYS plays the backstage politics and somehow manages to put himself into the main event or title picture. He did that shit in WWE before he left - look at Wrestlemania, it should have been Edge vs Reigns. That was it! But nope, Bryan was "Oh wah wah, I should be in the main event at Wrestlemania!" and c), I think people would actually turn against AEW for doing something like that.
IF they want the belt to be dropped from Page, then MJF should be the one to do it, or Eddie Kingston.
Fish has won twice one singles and one tag with cole. But yeah it’s like AEW is doing to nxt stars what wwe did to the WCW stars once they signed over. Have them put over the talent who wasn’t good enough to make it in wwe to begin with.

I think some people have a false perception on that 66 min match that AEW said was a 60 min match. 🤔 (Adam Page vs Bryan Danielson) 6:03PM to 7:09PM MT is 66 min. 3 minutes of ring entrance.
It's not that we hated it because it was over 1 hour. It's because from a business perspective, a 1 hour bout is better for PPVs. Winter Is Coming is just Tony Khans semi PPV. Tony Fyter Fest is a semi PPV. It's not a actual PPV. And when you're doing a 2 hour television show, the fans become tired and restless because they paid to see other wrestlers in 2 hours. Now granted they get to see Dark and Elevation there. But you just tire out your audience. And then making it the 1st match on a 2 hour program. This is why AEW fans dislike the match. Jim come on. If I know this much, you should know more.
Ethan Page is their Miz. Hes not bad, he’s not good, he just is. Scorpio Sky is TRYING too hard to project “alpha” but it’s see through and it makes people wanna see less of him. It’s like Two Robins are on the same team. There is no Batman.

The money back guarantee stipulation would be a fucking terrible idea, it's basically telling you the outcome of the match as we all know Tony would never actually refund all of the ppv purchases. It's things like this that really make me question Jim's "superior wrestling mind".
Page/Danielson was a great match! Unfortunately Hangman didn't win, and that makes him not look legit as champ, mainly because he has no title defenses yet
I think the point Jim did not make in his rant about the Nyla Rose incident is that if you want to normalize being a transsexual and help them integrate into normal society, it should be okay to make fun of a trans person the same it's okay to make fun of a normal person. Cracking a joke about a black person does not make you a racist. If you want true equality, we must normalize making fun of all people irrespective of gender, race etc.

I personally enjoy watching those 1980s and earlier wrestling crowds. Come to think of it, I never brought signs about the heels. I was usually trying to get attention for some baby face I wanted to see pushed. "Benjamin's The Best!" and stuff.
I had no idea Nyla Rose was trans until she debuted in AEW. But I guess if I was going to bring a sign about the heel, between the legs isn't off the table if the wrestlers themselves use it, such as "needle dick" for MJF.
