On the ground, means all that really matters in life was always within her , her family their love her members,, she shouldn’t have to try to look far ,,that every up has down, this songs takes about her working all her life just get high success , her not knowing what she wanted really and trying to find herself ,, going from nothing to something ,,and then when she reached that she felt empty ,she figured what is really important, what she sacrificed her leaving her family going to another country ,not living like normal kids was at her age of 15 ,, her being proud of her past self what she achieved

The piano scene is where trainee Rose (Roseanne) is chatting it up with current Rose'. She's referring to her former self before all fame throughout the song. Chasing her dream is okay but she wants to stay grounded and remember the important things that really matter in life, represented by the roses throughout the MV.

When she says on the ground she is talking about her career, the fact that she is so high right now when she wrote the song she realesed that everything she wanted is love, and human emotions that we all go through "on the ground"

Quick theory: this song shows how Rosè’s life was on the ground and she aimed for the clouds, and then when she got there, she wants to go back to the ground cuz she figured that Rosanne is who she truly is.... you can see the part where it says Roses are dead, love is fake...and the word love on the ground meaning that she can’t get it as a kpop idol who aimed for the clouds...hope this helped relay the important message!

Her solo is really different than the whole kpop world , it's so beautiful and so deep not just a hyping like every normal kpop song , it's a literal masterpiece and the more you listen to it , the more you like it

the meaning of the song is that she's come so high in success and fame and that's all she knew to go when she started out, " just go get high, just to realise, everything I need is on the ground " as in all she realised once she became successful was that she also needs to be grounded and humble to achieve a balance, hope that helped!

She has another song (gone) , it’s a ballad , she use a deeper voice , a little mixing, the one you heard in the teaser , nothing wow with high notes and others , but very emotional song ,, and that’s what really matters to her , for ppl to feel the emotions and understand her , get to know her more
This song is literally about her. She tells everyone that how she starts her career from 0. She tells us that even she already on the top but she still want to find her true self, like you can see during scene where she write her name Rosé and then Roseanne which her real name, her true self. Even during she playing piano with another Rosé. I think she (Rosé now /wear pink dress) want to look back her past Roseanne (the white shirt) to make sure that she will not lost her true self, happy with her now, and see how struggle she go to the top like right now
The mv tell us that, when we already work hard and get what we deserve, we can't forget about how struggle we are during past life, the most important thing is that we need to look back our true self, and never get blind by the achievement, compliment.
The thing I love the most about Rosé is her ability to own the song. The song does not represent her; she represents the song. And she's not a mere singer nor an artist, but also a story teller. And that's what makes her special. 💗💗💗

For the people who doesn’t get what this song means, it is basically about Rosé as a success woman and thinks that being famous is all what you need, but she finds out that being famous and successful doesnt give her all she needs. Roseanne is her name before being ‘famous’ (or the name she does by when she was a little baby/teen) and she is looking back at her old self seeing that all she really need is being her and being happy. (She has a YT channel called, ROSÉ. Subscribe to her new channel and always remember to spread positiveness toward our precious main vocalist 😀)
