Btw check their other songs from the album they really showed their versatility, and bet you wanna is not my favourite from the album, but for sure Rosé got to show how good of a singer she is, for the raps there's love to hate me for Lisa and it's just blowminding and there's a whole you never know to show Jisoo's vocals, for Jennie I can't really decide which one was the one, she raps in more than one track and for sure she shined with her vocals in all of them

LOVESICK GIRLS THEORY!!!
Lovesick Girls’ MV subtly tells a story about Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa passing away and Jisoo narrates the unfortunate events and eventually kills herself in the end...
Notice the die sign at the back and Jisoo is the only one looking at the camera when they all are in one frame...
Jennie: Due to the toxicity of their relationship, Jennie’s mental health suffered the consequences and tried to seek professional help but it didn’t work out. Her boyfriend brought her flowers to help ease the situation after the session but Jennie went hysterical which then led to their car accident in the parking lot.
Lisa: Lisa is in an unrequited love - vulnerable as she looked up to him with a longing gaze. In the car scene, the words “for you” were written on the hammer. This represents her stand in love - she carries the relationship and risks it all until there’s nothing left for herself. Also, you can see that the car's license plate says “bad boy” and a wall sign that says “you have to be alone” means her boyfriend had finally left her. Reaching the peak of her loneliness, she decided to end her life by jumping off the rooftop.
Rosé: Rosé is in a very in-denial relationship - trying her best to keep it together by keeping their common interests alive, but they never truly worked out. The depression grew deeper and so she decided to drown herself in the bath tub. Notice the painting on the wall - a pink skull; the guitar sign that says “I miss you, I hate you;” and the blood stain on her face.
Jisoo: I think it's a dream. Jisoo is broken but at the same time the flower scene expressed her drive with staying positive and moving on. Blue flowers are representation of hope and the beauty of things. You can also see her holding an hour glass wherein the sand may seem to be falling off but is actually going the opposite way. This represents the desire to turn back. How she wished she ran faster to save all of her friends but it was too late - all of them are now gone.
...After Jisoo’s running scene, what we see is that they're all having fun in a store. Throwing foods and smiling and jumping. These are her favorite and most cherished memories with the girls. A trip to memory lane. The pink car only appears during OT4 scenes. After the memory lane scene, we see Jisoo in a pool with bloodshot eyes and a sign that says “NOTHING.” She’s in denial and trying hard to move on but feels nothing without the girls. Hence, the lyrics go “I’m happy with this pain. You pity me, but I pity you more for pitying me.” She could no longer bear the agony so she drowned herself in the pool. And in the last scene, we can see how all of them reunite in the afterlife with their favorite pink vintage mustang.

Rose is also one of my favourites although Jisoo is my ultimate bias. She is the main vocalist for good reasons. Plus she is an Aussie (born in NZ) but grew up in Melbourne, Australia (where I currently live). Love her (and of course Jisoo) so much.

Jisoo got her equal amount of lines in this song and also high notes .. she was always given lines that was not making her to reveal her high notes... not even once.. and in this album she rocked... also Jennie got to rap after so long
reveal her high notes? I’m sorry to tell you this, but Jisoo's highest note that she is actually stable in is a D#4 which is not even a high note. She struggles with higher notes than this live, she sounds good in the studio version but strains live, sadly. And YG is actually damaging her voice like that. It's pretty good they didn’t give her high notes.

But I think Rose is in the backing vocals or hidden vocals i dont know whats say😅 because if you listen carefully, jennie's voice comes from the front and another thin voice can be heard from behind. This part will sing Jennie at the performances.It can't be Rose because there's Rose's part right after the second “Born to be alone” part. So it makes more sense that jennie is singing it.

Been a while since I saw that YG swag in Jennie, that comes out even without trying. That badass, hyped up, yet calm, cool, laid-back style of rap and swag. But DESERVED to rap more (it was only 30 secs TT so she owned the era only with that and it was enough to show who the actual Queen is) but we got, composer, producer, song-writer, lead vocal (DAMN HER VOCALS HAD ME SHOOK), dancer, expression genius, swagger Jennie. The way her voice expresses emotions perfectly :) Jennie is the ace 👑~

I would love to hear songs focusing more on their vocals. They're all such amazing vocalists and rappers. I just bought the album though, so maybe there are some there. I also love Rose's gritty vocals in this song. I would really like to hear her do that more often in the future. It sounds so cool
