As a Polish person this game has sooo many historical references and jokes that they might go over the head of someone who doesn’t know our history. I’m sorry that you didn’t like it, but it’s great to me and my husband we laugh so hard at the jokes :D. The graphic style, music and voices are honestly great! It’s everything I would want from a point and click game 👍
I first played the game at the beginning of my first semester taking Slavic related history, each time I played it over the last three years (2 that went towards a minor in Slavic history (that had a large focus on soviet history)) the game just gets funnier and funnier! Kind of like Death of Stalin but more so! And my most recent play through, it finally clicked in my head that this was a Polish made game so not only is the localization and dub in English incredible but also it’s no surprise it’s jam packed of specific nuances and situations that you know came from some relatives experience under communism
I just recently stumble across this channel and these videos are awesome in-depth and to the point.

Maaan, I think we played 2 completely different versions of the game.... I respect your opinion but looks like you're biased as you're clearly focusing on cons without mentioning what's authentically amazing: like riddles (maybe not all of them but still), dialouges, animations, graphics, music and voice overs. My version of the Irony Curtain is funny, beautiful and truly awesome classic point&click game filled with everything I need from the adventure game like this. Truth be told, it lacks polish but as a fan of the genre who respects the amount of work which clearly was put in this title, all I can say is I'm in love with this gem!
I've played this game and none of he is talking about is real. EVERYTHING in this game has it's solution - you dial a HINT or just READ Evan's comments. There was a few hard ones but man, just READ, just LISTEN to the voice of this game. It gaves you everything you need to solve everything.
He literally criticized almost all of the ,,authentically amazing " points of the game and stated that some of the things had not been done well. You can't call someone biased just because he doesn't like the thing you like.
I think the this reviewer lacks any understanding of the scope of the story. He basicly admits it in the review..

Since I studied Russian and soviet history, I get a lot of enjoyment from the game. There are so many references and Easter eggs and the game is just delightful. Though I struggle with some areas more than others. I had a hard time in the hotel figuring out what to do but nonetheless, I like it
