Back in the seventies i kept my boat in south hold Long Island and the marina launch onto the Peconic Bay riding 5 minutes was a blessing there were Humpback Porgies, Weakfish that ranged up to 2 1/2 to 3 feet and Fluke and then there was the crazy trip to Gardiners Island where many fish would congregate. Our baits would be include Clam, Squid, Live Minnows and Bloodworms and lets remember bait back then did not have the price of a Steak or Lobster dinner.
Great info on the vid it's like finding a needle in a hay stack congrats on finding them keep up the great work your friend Mike from nj 👍
Thanks a lot Mike! Good luck this year!
Spot on the spot baby...relief shading is a must!

Must be nice!! NC has a nice 2 week season in September!!
Thanks for watching. only two weeks? I'd cry!
@@nextdriftfishing It blows!!
I can't imagine! You should book a trip up here! Check out One More Drift Charters in Clinton, CT ;)
@@nextdriftfishing lol - I hear ya. I catch em all summer. But keep trout and redfish to eat :).
so if the fish are concentrated in such a small area why not anchor just off the piece and cast?
Theoretically, you could probably catch some fish that way, but drifting your lure past the fish with the current provides a more natural presentation. In some cases, if you have a trolling motor, you can plant yourself directly above them and catch them straight up and down. Good question.
Is there a way to show my Navionics map on my Simrad?
Hi Tony! I'm not sure, but I will find out for you.
Come out of Mago point marina, watch you all the time 🤣
Thank you!
