Love your Ren vids, but Tool is my state of being most of the time, prior to Ren taking top play. I followed them around the states. Coast to coast. I even made my home in AZ, until I retire in 5 years.. I head up to Maynard's wineries, Caduceus Cellars, in Jerome every few months. Kings of polyphonic prog rock. The reason why you can't bounce to two different sounds at the same time is because it's polyphonic lol. You have to choose. I've seen them 26 times. Killer shows every time. And I've dropped some doses and 🍄 for multiple shows. Certainly enhanced experience. Live, you don't just listen to it, you feel it ten fold. I bounce just like those holy rollers! I took my daughters as pre-teens, years ago. They want to go every time Maynard"s bands hit town. Watching them watch the show live...priceless.

They still play live, and are currently on tour. It ain't cheap these days, but if they come to your town DEF try to make it to the show. Even the worst seat in the house is worth it. Keep up the great work with the channel 🤘

You can bob your head to the music but you have to learn it first since it's not predictable like almost all other music. It's like a dance you have to learn before doing. It makes listening multiple times enjoyable.

Tool is on tour right now but it’s late in their tour and I think they are in Europe now. Better luck next year but I would check to see what tickets are left.

Pneuma at its most simple translation means Breath. In the context of the lyrics means one thing, but I maintain that the heavy guitar section sounds like Godzilla stomping Tokyo's ass again. The song title takes on a new meaning in that context.
If you compare regular music to physics, then Tool is quantum physics with their polythytmic sections and the theme behind all of their creations. They are explaining the forces of the Universe to us through it.

Psychedelics and Tool go together like peanut butter and jelly. Definitely recommend acid for their music but shrooms will do the trick! Make sure you listen to an album front to back though
Nice video as always! Good job! but you got the hint wrong...if you really want to hear Danny's drumming at its most grandiose, you need to hear something like Rosetta Stoned. They suggested this song to you because there is a drum cam video with Danny's playing it live. That's why they suggested Pneuma... because there's a spectacular live video and that's what you should have reacted to. However there is no problem. You can still do it next time though.

To me, their craziest songs are Third Eye and Rosetta Stoned
Mushrooms (I ate a ton, last time) were like unplugging me from “The Matrix.” I have known only resistance and conflict since then, and that lets me know that I’m on the right path, going against the grain, and fighting the demon of “power” or “authority.” I was a TOOL fanatic, but after the last trip, I no longer look up to them like Gods, other than to respect their musical ability. When Maynard says we’re all “one breath, one spark,” I get pissed every time. We’re not “one” because that means that you cannot possibly love anything more than you, because everything is just another part of you. This philosophy sounds beautiful, but works to keep real ferocious love out of the universe. Alex Grey was tricked by this same Eckhart Tolle Luciferianism.
Anyways…I have not met another person, who didn’t want to kill me for my spiritual beliefs, because they thought that I was going against their concept of “God.” TOOL is the greatest band ever, and artists are the closest thing to “angels” in the evolution of our consciousness…so I have a tremendous amount of respect; however, “worship” of any kind makes me wanna vomit. We’re not “one” anything. We’re separate and individual beings. We respect each other as such, live forever, and create.
Anyways, I still love Tool. I just don’t have the same “fanboy” attitude. Everyone should dig in, though, and see the magical shit that they’ve produced.

@tdftv9999 For more drumgasms I can highly recommend LEPROUS - The Sky Is Red (Drum Playthrough by Baard Kolstad) - he's an alien sent to Earth to save us, anybody with a sense of rhythm will appreciate the second half of the track, with hi-hat going in tempo and snare and toms slightly delaying to finally meet each other.
