I'm pretty sure it was like half half. At the end of city, he drinks the cure that took away all the physical effects of it, so it didn't kill him. The entire time before that though, he was fighting it. At the beginning of knight, its just stated that the more mental aspect stayed and was only awoken when the explosion at the chemical plant happened. I might be misremembering it though. @@ALV694

This scene on the game had me a really gut wretched feeling. Like they just killed a beloved character from a beloved franchise just like that... plus the fact it was the last Kevin Conroy work before his death which adds even more salt to the injury. Batman gave up being Batman in Arkham Knight. So Kevin's Batman Legacy still stands in Tacked. This Suicide Game is not Canon because some of these characters has not been in any of the Arkham 4 games. So this can only be in another Universe period.

Honestly I’m fine with them killing him, but him and Harley should have had an actually heart felt moment where he broke free from the mind control and stabbed Superman with the kyprtonite, and as he lay dying from injuries that Superman gave him, he has a heart to heart with barely where he apologizes for not being able to save her from the joker, and she thanks him, not the “I don’t need saving” but genuinely thanks him for his effort to help her in the past, that way he dies a hero, and an honorable death, giving the squad what they need to stop Superman
They tried to kill Batman to replace him with a character for the modern audiences like they did with Peter Parker being replaced by Miles but nobody is accepting that.

It would've made for an amazing plot twist to add a counter button so players would get that same feeling they got in Arkham Knight when Batman mentally became Joker.
what really makes me mad is not just that the original cutscene is terrible in every single way, it's that they are probably going to invent some plot twist that this was actually planned by Batman and that he is not dead or bring some multiverse bs
I think the multiverse is what they're trying to do.

Multi-verse and timeline crap is a fix for bad writing, or trying to give life to something that should’ve ended. And even if they make a DLC to fix this, is anyone going to give them more money to get the game with the character we wanted? Didn’t think so, my suggestion is, Forget this game exists and play Arkham knight again and tell your brain that the series ended here over and over again till it sticks.
There's a leak floating around that this isn't actually batman but a clone. And the real batman revives the flash. Someone on twitter uploaded a clip of flash's lines after getting revived, but it got taken down.

I actually liked that line, because it made me feel like he had a plan to get out and when I first saw this shit scene I was begging for that to be true, what I can’t stand is that(arguably) the greatest Batman to ever exist, dies like a dog to some second rate character who killed hundreds without a problem but now is acting self-righteous killing a man who dedicated his life to protecting innocent.

In fairness, batman was never covered in blood anytime he got captured, they always prioritized capture over kill for some reason, in this they just straight shot him to hell, and then she started speaking, instead of just knocking him out or sm stupid shit

This scene on the game had me a really gut wretched feeling. Like they just killed a beloved character from a beloved franchise just like that... plus the fact it was the last Kevin Conroy work before his death which adds even more salt to the injury.

Batman gave up being Batman in Arkham Knight. So Kevin's Batman Legacy still stands in Tacked. This Suicide Game is not Canon because some of these characters has not been in any of the Arkham 4 games. So this can only be in another Universe period.

I hate this game, but I think the only reason why he didn’t counter her shot in this moment was because whatever part of Bruce was left knew that he had to die.

I love how they put the entire meaning of 1st and 2nd encounter with Arkham Knight or any encounter with Harley before, into thrash with this sequence. I thought it's impossible to reach the bottom with Gotham Knights around but i guess you can always dive deeper and dig some extra kilometers into the abyss

Honestly I’m fine with them killing him, but him and Harley should have had an actually heart felt moment where he broke free from the mind control and stabbed Superman with the kyprtonite, and as he lay dying from injuries that Superman gave him, he has a heart to heart with barely where he apologizes for not being able to save her from the joker, and she thanks him, not the “I don’t need saving” but genuinely thanks him for his effort to help her in the past, that way he dies a hero, and an honorable death, giving the squad what they need to stop Superman
It amuses me when people finally realize that Arkham Quinn is not a good person like DCAU or comics Quinn.
