Thanks for the update Lucy! I don't mind the possibility of faire ads tbh; I run ads on Etsy and they really got us rolling. As for tiktok, i'm also working hard on it. My main account has 100k followers which really opened up lead opportunities. Now i'm just focused on my 2nd account which is my faire brand...it's defs harder now lol!
Yes we are of the same mindset, we will test the ads if they do end up happening in the UK - as I said we are always open to marketing if we can make it profitable. Good job on tik Tok! I think it's much harder to scale an account than it used to be, we've never tried hard enough it can be a lot of work to do well
Hi Lucy, so happy to have found you guys. It's important to network and know other sellers so you can discuss ideas and thoughts and grow together, but being an introvert that has been hard for us. So, these videos have been helpful. Thank you for your thoughts. We also started trying the ads but have started with $500. With that we have only seen 1 buyer come through this whole month. I don't think it's giving us ROAS and so we might consider stopping it. Do you think that's good idea or it's best to go with the recommended amount of $2000? That's a lot that I don't think we can afford yet.
Heya, so glad they are helping you!! We haven't got paid ads in the UK yet so it will be very interesting to see how you get on. It's a very steep amount for Faire to ask for. it all depends on your AOV and how well your product has been doing at wholesale already. I can only speak for myself and this is what I think for us: 1. We already have a very good success rate on wholesale, with some customers coming through and spending £000s with us over a year period - so paying ads to get those people would work for us 2. Do we have the spare cash flow to invest? If we spend $2,000 a month and get nothing in return what would happen to the business? The other thing is if Faire have recommended spending that amount then I don't think spending anything less than that is worth doing, I can imagine the algorithm is favouring those spending the 2k, but that's just conjecture

Hey - they are in beta testing in the USA at the moment so we don't even have it yet, think it's just a few select brands whilst they test it before they roll it out further!@@MegaYoOky
