If someone calls you in your iPhone then instead of ringing if it straight goes to your voicemail then there are certain things you can do to fix this issue:
The first thing is because your iPhone has no service. So, check if there is network signal in your iPhone.
Also check if your iPhone has airplane mode turned on.
The other thing is because maybe you have enabled do not disturb mode in your iPhone.
Go to “Settings”.
Select “Do not disturb”.
Disable “do not disturb”.
Also check if there is carrier update available in your iPhone.
Go to “Settings”.
Select “General”.
Select “About”.
If there is any update then it will be automatically updated.
Also the last thing what you can do is:
Go to “Settings”.
Scroll down and select “Phone”.
Select “Announce calls”.
Select “Always”.
Also check if you have blocked the contact

Delete all the voice mails

For me I think the issue was having "Silence Unknown Callers" under the phone section in Settings selected on. FYI You may need to deselect this option as well?

I just changed back to Samsung from the iPhone and was having this issue where my calls were going over to VM and not ringing at all. I'll spare you all of the details, but the fix for me was to uninstall all of the ad block apps that Samsung had offered as installs when I was setting up the phone. That worked for me. Hopefully this will save a lot of people a lot of time and trouble.

My signal is very bad. There is only one bar up. Lately, when I get calls, it rings once and the call goes to voicemail or it is dropped. I do have a wireless connection to my comcast modem. This doesn't seem to help. I have ATT as a vendor. Do you think if I changed to consumer cellular it would make a difference? Although they use the ATT towers. My sister has been wanting me to change to Consumer Cellular, but I don't think this is going to help. Any advice?
