That motherboard is a work of art ! very industrial looking. lovely design
Really liking the look and feel of this new generation TUF gear. Seriously considering that board for when I upgrade to AM5.
I'm tempted to buy one of these boards myself IF I go Ryzen 7000, but that's a big if at the moment.
nice build section that, very relaxing. always like to see you building a PC james, watching a master at work
Thanks 👍
another great build james, I do love those seasonic fans, what a great idea with the magnets. never seen that done before.
didnt bequiet do something similar a few years ago?
Thanks, I'm glad that you enjoyed watching.
I love that case so much I just bought 1 lol, Great vid as always.
Always like a good James build.
Got some serious cooling options that case.
Really tight build looks amazing.
Love the music from the back end of the video!
cracking build James, good to watch you doing it at normal speed. im not a fan of 4-8x build speeds. does my head in
It's always difficult to know which you guys prefer, normal speed or faster.
Normal speed requires more editing but if it's better for you guys to watch then it's worth it. 👍
I have a question for you where did you connect the front led for this case the one that lights up the front case badge. In a big coincidence I have built a system that is pretty much the same as the one you have but I can’t figure out how to connect it to get it to light up. In the build I did not see you connect it. Thanks in advance for your help.
If you had all 4 dimm slots populated, would the aio hose orientation to the right interfere? Thanks!
Great video. Just board with a 7800x3d. Did you need to update biis or did it work out the box cheers 😊
Will a custom water cooler configuration fit with a 240ml flat reservoir installed on the side of this case?
I currently have a complete TUF Zaku edition build (minus the 1660 super) and as much as I don't want to, I NEED better airflow for my 3080...
this case seems like an absolute winner
I would just put a single fan in the back aimed at the back side of the socket just to get a little extra cooling on the CPU.
I wish TUF motherboards had a rgb tuf logo on the vrm heatsink on the left side. Would make this board more attractive for sure
the best chassis pc , i can see, i like, hi from Medellín Colombia
Good CPU that, why was it all blurred out during the build?
Is there a way to get that case in the US? I cannot find it.
any idea when this case will be available?
ive used the same software and it doesnt work for me either. not sure whether its broken with a windows update or if asus just need to fix it.
mind if i ask why did you blur out the cpu?
Whats the bootup time on this board
My question is, does this case support a watercooler reservoir with a TUF 4090?
I'm thinking about using a 360mm/45mm radiator on top, if anyone can help me with this question I'd be grateful.
Thats a very fancy motherboard really well specified and its they usually do a good bios.
That's TUF ❤🔥
does it include fans?
Well done! I saw other videos for Asus 502 build and notice that you put AIO in the wrong place… both from airflow and placement prospective… those at the back are SSD brackets!!! 😊
same sentiments.
great build james, its quite a good looking case that. if a bit expensive. but what isnt this year.
Too true.
I like that cooler, ive heard good things about it. interesting to hear about the noise you mentioned.
looks like pump whine from what i heard. asetek special
Usually pumps are very quiet these days but there was a distinct rattle noise with this one. I'm pretty sure it was the cover rattling due to vibrations.
is this good for 4090 ?
How is the airflow? @@
the 3mm more from normal aios make a diference. since the rad is bigger. the case look intersting to work with. update is coming (aio) The fans i am getting those once they come to market those look incredible
I have never worked with case like this, it looks unique but I was worried about airflow without a simple front to back airflow. Thanks for the video, I think I might do a largely Asus gaming build with this Case, a Tuf Motherboard and whatever else I can find with that name tag.
No problem 👍
Tx for u vid, very good information, i want to build it with normal cooler , no watercooler tx again..:😊😊
Best of luck!
Description "Memory - 32 GB (4 x 16GB Modules)" looks like 2X16 ?
A Good review about this case
Anyway could someone tell me the BGM at:
17:12
I’m really interested in the case. I’m going to build a new pic in the coming months and for now I’m between this one and the Hyte Y60. Do you think the rad is going to be fine in that position??? I’m getting an aio as well but I’ll probably gonna be buying a watercooled gpu as well. For positioning I was considering top and the back(next to the mb) instead of that compartment in the back. You think the aio is going to be fine? 🤔🤔🤔
Got my answer towards the end of the video 😂
i have the gt502 case but i am unable to connect the case argb cable to my motherboard because it has a male connector so can you tell how to you connect the case argb cable to motherboard??
One of the cables is designed for the optional argb hub, which is often bundled with their 3x120mm TUF fans. The other cable is specifically for the logo on the front, and should connect normally to any mobo.
I wonder how it'd look with a vertically mounted GPU seeing as it doesn't come with a PCIE 4 riser cable that might complicate things a little. I'm looking at this case or a Lian Li O11D Evo myself for an all AMD build in white, should look good!
It has the bracket but no cable. Lian li 4in riser cable works perfect.
this way with 3 side fans you can place a gpu with a 360mm aio....
Can you do the push/pull radiator fans configuration on the top?
I think there should be enough space for that.
Will it fit the arctic liquid freezer II, 420mm? It's pretty darn big, and like 67mm thick
Not enough space for a 420mm radiator in the GT502.
As of 11/26/23, gt502+ is on Amazon, 193$ usd.
7:54 This is the best part
I am having issues with that ASUS software myself, only seems to work half the time. then sometimes not at all until you reboot.
its terrible - nothing to do with you.
Us release date?
Shame the "dual" chamber forces you to join the chambers... I just bought this and intend to isolate a 280 in the side chamber - why they did not make mounts for one of those to slide to the more open rear end of that chamber is beyond me. Dremel Time.
I dont think the case is terrible, but its not a focus for ASUS, never has been. its like they feel they have to do something in every category even if its not really a bit concern. The pricing seems off to me considering what else you can get on the market today
Well, you sold me with the comment about the "Asus Case" sticker, James. I thought before the review was hardly out-the-gate this would be a Therrmaltackyesque affair of a case, and so it proved. I do like the overall aesthetic you achieved; the case; mobo; psu; memory; and fans go well together. I won't use Asetacky or Ngreedia products myself; I don't like either of their business ethics. Noticeable sag on the GPU too. My immediate thought was Caterpillar themed build with a custom loop; it is already a fair way along that road.
👍
No está diseñado para poner radiadores en la parte de atrás, solo ventiladores. 🤷🏻♂️
double price of 011
can we fit rad+fan on backplate side? seem only fan
The 011 is the same price if not more then this one in the us.
Lian Li 011 with TUF branding.
Should have had the Ryu sound affect from street fighter 2.
Quite a complex set of options you have before you even start thinking about putting components in. It’s almost too flexible.
asus really should bring up 360er tuf AIOs
TUF Motherboards: Decent
TUF Cases: Wat?
the case is certainly unusual. At least they let you know they make it on the back. funny expression from james that.
i like James, can you check out the Cubeor cases?? and couple more mATX cases? Thank you bro
I'll look into that. I've noticed that motherboard vendors seems to be paying more attention to mATX again.
@@KitGuruJames cool, have a nice end of year time, whatever ITS called in english 😁
hi, this case or o11dynamic evo or xl ?
O11D Evo 👍
Looks nice. Bet it is expensive though.
Im not very happy with my temps and the Ryuo III. And no its not possible to turn the rog sign around!!!
This case is ok. But like me who owns a lianli evo case its no were near it. The aio placement at the back is weird, can't get the logic behind it. More like a gimmick to me. I think the plus side for me is the straps at the top and the price.
Music is very good am hard to please 😂
why the cpu image is blocked?
It's a secret. 🤔👍
@@KitGuruJames eng sample for no reason? :D
How do you rate the CPU James? I know you dont normally review them, thats Luke normally - would you buy one?
Honestly, if I was looking to buy a CPU in that sector I would go with the 13600K this time around.
The carry straps are an interesting idea but that is going to get banged about or pinched if youre going to be taking it on public transport.
If you’re carrying a pc on public transport, I would be more concerned about somebody trying to get a pc for free
Just what I needed!! More SSD mounts!! Just stop with all the hard drive mounts, no one wants those. Where's the EK Pump reservoir mounts? That would be useful.
2 aio fans were blocked
Crap name for the cooler, but it seems pretty good at the job from what ive seen
Shouldn't the aio be placed as intake?
In the rear compartment of a dual chamber case it shouldn't really matter much.
In a standard ATX tower it depends on whether you want to prioritise CPU temperature over GPU. A front intake AIO will favour CPU temperature but a top exhaust AIO will favour GPU temperature.
@@KitGuruJamesI think it does matter if intake you feed with cool ,fresh air the cpu and since this a dual chamber design the warm air from the aio shouldn't affect gpu temps. Isn't this how a dual chamber chassi is supposed to work?
@@GG-wi7ev that's why I don't think it matters much. With the AIO as an exhaust in dual chamber it will be pulling in fresh air from outside through all the other vents and then exhausting warm air out rather than blowing warm air from the radiator on to the back of the motherboard and potentially heating the CPU socket/VRM area.
@@KitGuruJames but two of the fans are behind the mobo in this set up and the one closest to the tubes faces the front chamber so where is the fresh ,cool air? As an intake the fans face the mesh side panel where they can pull air from outside of the case
@@GG-wi7ev that's the flaw with the case. If you were to put the panel back on to the right of the motherboard, one fan would be completely choked, the other two fans behind the motherboard tray have some airflow gap and would pull in clean air from the rear panel vent and the other two vents on the right hand side panel.
I think that Ryuo might be a Japanese word and it pronounce as "Rew" or "Riaw".
nice to look at the build proces, but this case looks ugly
I’d give tho build a 4 out of 10 for looks
When is James going to shave one of those silly thick Ryzen heat spreaders to show how much better thermal performance it can do?
Soon hopefully. When I get one for my own system 🫣
Asus and Gigabyte..No1 brands..!!!
Nice review, for your info Ryuo means Dragon King, which there are four types of dragon , in this case it's referred to the Water Dragon King and in Japanese it's pronounce as You Yolk. anyway good cooler.. I have tested it. amazing results on a 7950X.
Dragon king would have sounded much better 😃👍
@@KitGuruJames lol yup.. I did an indepth open view on this AIO which was provided by Asus, I am impress with the Gen 8 Asetek pump. It's quiet and those fans that comes with this, the 120mm ROG AF 12S ARGB, they are not just good static pressure fans but the amount of detailing and the areodynamics is good. Too bad they are not sold separately.
good educational post Kleo - thanks for the info! they should have named it Dragon King, that would have been a cool name for the Western Market.
@@KnightRider-lq5yb you are most welcome. 🙂 as I believe there is a meaning of some PC components are named and as why are they name it that way. Just like TUF, it means The Ultimate Force , more of like showing it's strenght.. again no doubt about Tuf boards, they are build to take the heat of processors or rams.
thanks, i too was thinking street fighter,. lol
Can we see an Intel/Nvidia build next time?
Yes!
When AMD lower motherboard and CPU prices maybe a build.
those seasonic fans are nice too bad they are like $300 for a pack of 3 LOL
What's the deal with those BDSM straps, Asus?
its a great casing but the price is ridiculous, its more expensive than o11 dynamic evo..
Opposite in the US. The Evo is $30 more if you can actually find one that isn’t white.
New Kids on the Block fan? 🤣
Before my time....
Always like Asus ROG stuff even though I really dont like the silly republic of gamers name.
🤦♂️🤦♂️This case looks very much as if some ASUS engineers had thought about how to copy a Lian Li O11 case in the worst possible way and then sell it as something new as expensive as possible. I have news ASUS that was an epic fail !! Rather buy a Lian Li O11EVO and invest the around 30 € you save in Quality Case fans and you will definitely not regret it 😌👍
I have lian li dynamic evo, it's amazing.
I don’t want to offend the author, but the placement of the water cooling is terrible, it doesn’t look nice (sorry), but installing it on top and the fans on the side would look better, + you wouldn’t have to put it sideways on the processor
There are also reversible fans for such assemblies
Where is that radiator fans are going do get the fresh air from? Really bad decision!!! The air flux is really not enough. Your Ryzen is going to burn!!!
RGB is really annoying but have to admit they have implemented it well.
Hard drive days are over, I wish companies would just get rid of that space and make ATX cases smaller already. Come on its almost 2023.
It certainly isn't. Many still use them for bulk storage and all that. Remove hdd cages and you'll get some very angry people.
@@aerosw1ft get a Nas or use external caddies. It really isn't that hard.
URGH, Asus Software, what a disaster. I keep saying it, but they need to put more money into the development of it. its terrible. Its why I dont buy many of their products.
I prefer coolers that need no software, hubs or propriety connections. Each to their own I guess.
*It just doesn't look as good as the GT501 at all*
That aio is choking. Tuf cases are so bad.
@Matthew Walsh well a 7600x on a 360 aio will always be fine. Imagine something a bit hungrier.
My 13 year-old builds FAR BETTER; ZERO FORETHOUGHT or planning.
...simply SAD, really =|
You must have not seen any James Builds before. This build highlights the shortcomings of the case not the competence of who built it.
Yeah I’d like to see him do this. czcams.com/video/Hy6oVX4HwqU/video.html
Wise up man. James builds amazing systems. I’ve seen at least 10 here he has crated that are amazing. This case isn’t great. Very little he could do about it.
L to the ol
Absolute corker
Don’t like this case
