That’s me and my son with Maya at the Accra mall. Big up Wode Maya. I love you to the moon ✊🏿
thank you for that great advise
Steve, when I saw you, I was like"isn't that Steve!" I'm glad you took your son to Ghana
Well done.
I respect u sir for bringing ur son🇬🇭✊🏿🥂
My man, you did a great job raising that kid to be that tall...... God bless u.
Let’s clarify this . A person’s culture should not be attributed to their standard of living. The fact that some African live in huts 🛖 does not mean we’re poor …it’s our culture. The fact that we are not wearing designer clothes does not mean we’re poor ….we have our own way of life and a peculiar way of dressing. Real poverty arose in Africa when we decided to adopt the western meaning of Wealth in our life .
Beautiful, Eric!!
Spot on brother
You have the point!
ALL FACTS NO CHASER!!!!
I take the hut any day over the apartment dwelling. To live in apartment can be problematic, elevators break down, upper floor water leaks, noise from next door, foul odors from pile up garbage, etc.

To African diaspora. Nobody stops you from embrace and connecting to a country and whole continent from ancestor and my greatest teacher- Malcolm X. Love from Lagos Nigeria.❤❤❤❤❤🇳🇬
Bro am Cameroonian leaving in Germany. Malcom X is and will always remain the greatest black man after macus Gavey. I don't sleep a day without listening to his speeches. I have learnt a lot from him
@Trevon Womack Although your response has no connection to my comment. But then we are here to learn. In 2021, it is good you base your comment on evidence not assumption. A war on the back of falsehood,is a lost war. You can check this out: Malcolm X visited Nigeria on two occasions, one in 1959 and the other in 1964. His first visit to Nigeria in 1959 was to arrange a tour for Elijah Muhammad, the leader of ‘ Nation of Islam‘, a black Muslim organization in America. Malcolm X’s second visit to Nigeria was in 1964. During this visit, he rendered a beautiful and brilliant speech at the Trenchard Hall in University of Ibadan . Also, at a reception held at the Students’ Union hall for Malcolm X by the Muslim Students’ Society, the Yoruba name ‘ Omowale‘ which literally means ‘the child has come home’ was bestowed upon him. At a press conference Malcolm addressed when he arrived in New York, he said the reception given to him by students in Nigeria was one of the highest honours he had ever received in his life.
This reminds me of Chimamanda Ngozi’s speech about the dangers of a single story.
Yes that was a powerful speech on Ted X......very deep...listened to it 4 years ago.
Good reminder, we're now retelling the story by ourselves
That's the most brilliant talk out there. Every now and then, one goes back for a 'treat'

@Zakaria Farah I'm afro indigenous American
@Zakaria Farah One of my best friends, my Arabic teacher and my imam that read my shahada with me in 2013 in Germany is from Somalia. Also a CZcamsr I know that is originally from my hometown in Louisiana: his wife is also from Somalia. I'm hoping to travel to Somaliland as well. In shaa Allah this will be my third trip to Morocco. In shaa Allah I'm meeting with my fiancee's father for marriage.
@Zakaria Farah Thank you. I'll take that as a compliment. I'm 50 and I would honestly advise marriage younger.
@Zakaria Farah A Moroccan is an African the last time I checked. So my fiancee is African. The country of Morocco ( one of 54 countries ) is on the continent of Africa... Correct?
@Zakaria Farah Indeed brother. However the sunnah of marriage does teach us to marry someone different from ourselves in attributes so as to better compliment one another as a couple. Race has no place in a righteous Ummah. Besides, haven't you noticed many black African females chasing non black men? I lived in Europe for 10 years and just returned to the USA last summer. Black African women did not show interest in me but a tribal Amazigh woman from Morroco did show interest in me. Also there are many black Moroccans as well as blended families.
I cannot wait to return to Ghana. Most beautiful, hospitable, exciting, fascinating country I've visited to date. I left a bit of my heart behind when I got back on that plane to the UK. I'm a white guy with Celtic origin so it isn't my ancestral home but I was invited by a couple of good Ghanaian friends living in the Accra region (one in the main city, one in Weija just outside) to come visit. Best week of my life, no exaggeration. The sense of pride in their heritage and culture by Ghanaian folk is so strong and they channel that pride in their generosity and openness, everybody was so excited to introduce me to culture whether it was food or music. So many smiles, waves, handshakes, hugs, "welcome to Ghana Oborɔnyi". I adore Ghana and when I return to travel and start to vlog my travels I will definitely return to Ghana and show what I love. Respect Wode!

In college, we had a special guest come speak to the African-Americans during black history month. He was an albino Namibian. He told us that Namibia was just a land full of nothing. Just vast nothing. That's literally what he told us. And to think, as black militant as my young mind was even then-- i actually believed him.
I applaud u Wode, for being a big player in changing the narrative of how many of our people from this side of the waters see Africa.

Most of Namibia is desert. We need you clever african americans tomcome and develop it.
@@gibson2675 If you have deserts, it already is developed. Morocco is making billions from their deserts. On a map, Namibia looks huge. That means there must be a lot of power in the kalahari. Skirt the coasts with solar plants and export the power. Should be cheaper than the power the Congo will be exporting from their dam.

You see, you are doing real great and impacting people all over. Much love from Nigeria
You’re doing such a great job sharing what’s positive about Africa! The truth is the global media has not always done the best in representing the African continent. Too much of what is portrayed is poverty and lack. I’m glad to know about this channel. Well done 👏🏽👏🏽

Kaka Wode, your CZcams content on Africa should be used in schools as teaching material across all lands where Africans, and people of African descent inhabit/dwell, Proud of you as my fellow Kenyan, but more so, as a Sub-Saharan African. Asante sana, shukran, mahadsanid.
