    • @juniorgrant5495
      @juniorgrant5495 Před 2 lety +3

      Very true. Other countries have gone out of their way to ensure Africa supplies only raw materials and not produce final products. Industrialization is key to producing the final products that can be sold domestically, regionally and globally.

    • @NkrumahTure
      @NkrumahTure Před 2 lety

      Yep. As long as Africans have primary management and control of all stages of their raw material resources from extraction to manufacturing, then yes, it's a good thing. The way its set up now, europeans (foreign capital) possess the lions share of the continent's material wealth, including Ghana. It's what President Kwame Nkrumah was fighting against.

    • @NkrumahTure
      @NkrumahTure Před 2 lety +1

      @@juniorgrant5495 Agreed. The strongest position for Africa to be in for maximum benefit and international influence is a political union of African states. With an entire continent bound by a constitution, it unifies not only Africa's states, but also all of her material wealth. No one could match the continent in development, production and distribution of products in exports. For that a common currency and banking system is necessary. Nkrumah proposed that the central authority be an All-African Union Government, a federated system with powers delegated to the African states. This is the strongest position Africa can be in if we are to industrialize. Africa must be free of foreign monopoly to do this, and strong enough to protect a newfound productive capacity from those who will surely scheme to sabotage it.

    Wode:Why is it so important for ghanains to invest in ghana
    Richard:We have nowhere to go,ghana is our country.If we don't invest in ghana what are the people going to do
    "Entrepreneurs in ghana need to show that What is out there in the western world can be done in ghana."
    "We don't always have to wait for foreigners to come and invest in our country for us."
    statements of a pan african/revolutionary.More of us need to develop this mindset men .Once we appreciate our lands and people more and understand that we are the only ones who truly have us(excluding the snakes amongst us),then we can change the destiny of this continent.Much love to this brother and massive kudos to his great father for instilling these great principles in him.Wode my bro,kudos to you as always

    Wode Maya thanks for covering this story. It is so inspiring. Especially as someone who is studying food science I am so inspired by this story. What he said about the Agric sector is actually very true.

    Really a shame about the sound. The Kasapreko operation looks impressive. If there were more operations like this in Ghana, it would be a developed country. Unfortunately when you ask Ghanaians they will say, "it's not possible in Ghana" or "I can't do it" THANK YOU WODE MAYA for showing us that it IS POSSIBLE if you are TALENTED and HARDWORKING enough!

      We want a "developing," country. a "developed" country soon becomes a stagnant country! Ghana stay a developing/growing/evolving Country.
