Octavia TDi is the go to tuner/teenage ricer car in Slovakia and Czech Republic, you see these everywhere, they are so stereotypical, high mileage, low fuel consumption, shaft play in the turbo that makes the turbo squeal a little, worn tires, busted suspension, leaked out shocks, warped discs (mainly pre-facelift, as yours because they had smaller discs that were not adequate for the heavy engine) and, of course, those atrocious seats, hard as hell and the rear has no leg room because it was sacrificed for the boot space, but its one of the most reliable cars you can have, just blank off the egr and its a forever car, we call them sheep here :D

Got pretty much same car, Škoda Octavia LX1.6 MPI, 55 kw, 1997, no turbo, same color, no elecctiracal windows, tachometer stopped working around 240 000 km+, but i estimated it has around 300 000-400 000 km, bcs i got it for 2 years and previous owner which had it also for 2 years said that the tachometer wasn't working when she got it, but i must say it is in much better condition than yours on video, it has no fabric tearing apart, only few scratches on the front doors under the reproductos. From the outside it is also in great condition and i really enjoy driving with it. Long story short, it is a great car. And btw i didnt gave mine name, but its she. I jsut call her Octavia. Traverse has full dealership service records since new (a HUGE plus) and it shows it. Maintenance is EVERYTHING!
