A few days after Thomas S. Monson had passed away, I had a dream with Russell M. Nelson. He told me that he was trying his best to fulfill the call the God had given him, but he felt inadequate and missed his dear friend Thomas S. Monson as he cried. I told him that Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ were supporting him and so was Thomas S Monson and many individuals on both sides of the veil. I got the picture of Thomas S. Monson that I had recently completed drawing out of our truck and gave it to him. After I woke up, that same picture I drew was in the exact location where it was in my dream. It was my second dream with a prophet of God that lived in my lifetime that I can recall.
Guys!!!! At 1:32, that "light up pen" was a glow-in-the-dark pen I made President Nelson!!!!

I hate to burst your bubble Karen, there were never Golden plates delivered by an angel! It’s all a fabrication. No one saw them but Joseph! And what prophesies has Neilson came up with? 2 hour church and changed the lipstick color on home teaching ? I am still taking my vitamins Neilson !

So which is it here, no Golden plates "delivered" or only Joseph Smith saw "them"? For grammatical clarification, the prophet's last name is spelled "Nelson", not "Neilson". Oh, please. please, be respectful when you ask what prophecies President Nelson has "come up with", that can come across as disrespectful to a human being with whom you have never met face to face, nor have had the chance to have a conversation with. Maybe it's just me, but when a leader of [any] church or religious denomination, who has been appointed to their position for less than 4 years, announces the construction of 100 temples to be built [throughout the world], I tend to take notice. But that's me.

How do you know he's a true prophet? I know a mormons favorite saying is "I know this to be true" but how?
@@2326038 If you say it (or think it) enough, you'll begin to believe it. According to Elder Boyd K. Packer, “A testimony is to be found in the bearing of it.”
Brigham Young is one of the corner stone prophets of LDS but his teachings & doctrines are no longer taught. Does that make him a true prophet? Nelson appears to have a solid history and a loving spirit, but who are we to judge him as a prophet of God?

@2326038 knowledge and testimony is gained by faith and works. Putting that faith into action. When you exercise your faith or belief you gain personal manifestations from the Spirit of God. Sometimes is a still small voice, sometimes it's an overwhelming feeling of love along with new knowledge and thoughts that you know are from God. Sometimes it's events that transpire along with the witness from the Spirit of God. The witness comes when you exercise that faith by following the commandments of God and doing his work. When you seek knowledge by study and a sincere desire you can also gain that witness. I speak from many personal experiences. I am grateful for this knowledge because it gives me great personal strength and peace to know God. I ecourage you to seek it for yourself.
So are spiritual revelations from God a distinctly divine voice with a presence, an internal voiced feelings, or prayerful thoughts inspired with dreams and visions?
I personally think they are all those and more. The Lord knows how best to respond and communicate to us.

It is wonderful to hear how revelation works from the wife of a prophet of God. It helps my testimony grow and is such a powerful witness.
This is great. Have any other of the presidents’ wives been this forthcoming about their husband’s calling? I don’t recall any. Maybe they have been, but in written form instead?

I know he is also, by listening to her council of listening to all of his talks from the time he became prophet until now, and then do it again. I did and the Lord told me very clearly that he is indeed the prophet called by God himself! I know he is Jesus Christ's prophet!

Departure is a very good word
At 50 I realized I needed to slim down NOW! I felt sluggish' didn't have enough stamina daile. So I had a list I lived by for 3 Years, knowing if I crashed the weight of it would return very quickly.
I kept carbs under 20 grams per day, drank 8 glasses of water a day, started gouling to 50+ excercise/ stretching class. It took 2 years and 6 months and I enjoyed 3 healthy meals each day. Slept well at night and watched the pounds go away. I lost from 180 to 135 and I stay under 140 and occasionally go back down to 135 when I've been drinking more water and eating fresh apples' tangerines and bananas. Why tose...because I LIKE them! I don't drink coffee or tea or sugary drinks. Occasionally diet soft drinks but they bother my bones!! GO9D licker and do what it takes to FEEL healthy again. We are not getting any younger!

A WONDERFUL witness!!
Like most members of the church, I know Russel M. Nelson is the PROPHET of the Lord JesusChrist on the earth today. I humbly say that I received a undeniable witness as president Nelson was presented for our sustaining vote in the general assembly. That morning, I was in tears as the Holy Ghost confirmed to my entire soul this sacred calling. Heavenly Father gave me that gift that morning and for that witness I'm deeply grateful.
It makes all the difference in the world to really know when a PROPHET is called of God.
I have received the same witness. It's wonderful.
What about other prophets within Mormonism? There are many and the members of those sects have the same Witness you claim to the validity of their prophet. It's easy to be deceived by our feelings. The Lord is all you need.

@@luisp4009 I appreciate your testimony but it really does sound a lot like others who also share testimonies of their prophet. There are many within the mormon movement, all claiming to be the one and only true church. Prophets need to be tested to know if they are true or not. We cannot rely on our feelings.
@@tdubs5128, perhaps we all sound alike because our testimony comes from the same source, and that source is God the Eternal Father, I say this on all humility and deep gratitude.
I know that President Russell Marion Nelson is the true Prophet of God on Earth Today. Continuing revelations from God through Gods Prophets to Guide and Direct the affairs of the gospel of JESUS CHRIST today, The Church Of JESUS CHRIST Of Latter Day Saints and the World. I know this is true.

The Lord indeed instructs EVERYONE who asks in faith and it is a fallacy to preach that only this man or any leader can get divine inspiration and truth. anyone humble and open hearted can have direct promptings and truth.
