Sigh!!! Words of wisdom. I have watched Sister Dew for 4 & 1/2 decades. She is a true follower of Jesus Christ in my opinion. I love what she writes and am looking forward to getting her new book. I love what she shares and her wisdom. I love the Prophet the one person we can know is speaking and taking direction from the Savior. I love the apostles. The love that all of these people have for us is genuine. I will continue trying to follow the Prophet and listen to people like sister Dew. Thank you so much for sharing.❤ sorry for no proper punctuation and sentence structure. Love from Sister Critser

My seminary teacher linked this video in our snow day online lesson. I confirm that President Russel M. Nelson is a prophet, seer, and revelador. I promise that as we follow his council, we will always God to prevail in our lives. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Amen. Covid really did show that President Nelson is a prophet in so many different ways. And it has been a great blessing to be able to hear and follow him. I never thought about it before. But Elder Nielsen is right: Prophets CAN look around corners. And that can bless us, if we let it. 🕊❤️🙏🕊

I first heard Sheri Dew speak as a college student almost 30 years ago. Since then, I have read many of her books and tuned in for some of her speaking assignments. She’s got an extra special way with words that leads her followers to come closer to Christ. Love her!

“Words on which we can completely depend…”
Unless they are speaking as a man and not a prophet. Which unfortunately is difficult to know and has been demonstrated throughout the history of the church.

This video highlights the confirmation bias at the heart of Mormon revelation and prophecy. The LDS church had pilot programs that allowed missionaries to use flip-style phones in the early 2000s. By 2013, six missions in Utah and Arizona allowed missionaries to proselytize online and used digital devices. By 2015, eighty missions worldwide allowed missionaries to use smartphones. By 2019, 160 missions allowed smartphone use. Are we supposed to believe that the leaders of the church foresaw the global pandemic by making provision for smartphone use but did nothing else to prepare for it? This is beyond ridiculous.

It is a bit peculiar that in 2019 they do not trust their own missionaries so much that they dare not give them mobile phones. Then they realize it's not normal after all. This example rather weakens the prophetic character. I have the impression that some parts of the lds culture are so intimate and supposedly closed that they don't even see the "nonsense". Like when they realized in 1974 (!!!!) that blacks are also worthy members of the human race. In 1974, after the whole world had already recognized this. Both changes seem more like a compulsion than an inspiration. While the world could really use a lot of inspiration, e.g. about how to protect the created world, which is being destroyed before our eyes (there is not a single word about this) or about the exploitative world economic system that keeps billions in poverty and more could be listed..
