    Sister Uzelac was one of my favorite seminary teachers at Skyline High school! I have so many memories of impactful lessons from her. She is warm, welcoming and loving. I especially remember your love for the Book of Mormon. Thank you for this message and beautiful reminder. It’s good to “see you” again (via CZcams!)

    Thank you!! Dood its good to know about our role as sisters instead of feeling like its all about the men. Like you know from scriptures that men and woman are equal, but we alwase talk as if only men have prhesthood power, but you learn that the prhestood is the power of God, and your confused because don't we both need the power of God and have responcibilities and a divine potential? Are we just here to help men so that they can acheve there divine potential? But its good to learn that we both have prheestood power, just with different responsibilitys with it! And men will help us reach our divine potencial with there abilities, and we will help men with ours. And a bonus:helping others helps ourselves reach our potential.
    So ya, thanks for sharing!! I hope there is better knowlage about this in the future.

      Not very important, more important = are you saved? Please examine yourself if you are saved or not!
      Did you know that Heaven is a free gift from God? Billions of people go to bed every night wondering if they have been “good enough” to go to heaven. There is no need to live in fear and doubt. Jesus taught that you can “know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
      There are many passages in the Bible that teach the truth about Heaven being a free gift from God because of what Jesus did for us on the cross, not by our own good works. One of the most clear and important passages is from the Apostle Paul’s letter to the Ephesians:
      Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”
      Most people think that Heaven is a riddle which can never be solved. This is not true! The Bible is very clear about how you get to Heaven, and how it comes by faith in Jesus Christ, not by trusting in our own good works.
      We are living in the dispensation of the grace of God, by believing and trusting the gospel of salvation (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) given to our Apostle Paul by Jesus Christ you are saved and sealed with the holy Spirit of promise till the day of redemption!!!
      Ephesians 1:13 - King James Version
      13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
      Romans 2:16 - King James Version
      16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. (Paul's Gospel - 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verses 1-4).

    Most religions run by men have asked virtues, submission, perfect behaviour and sacrfice from women while men were never requested to abide by the same standards, This is why i do not trust religions and will never follow them blindly and will remain single till the end. Untill things changed to ensure that men become reliable and have to follow the same principles, i do not see how we can improve the world. I also will never follow any religions where women have not part in either the decision making of religious principles or/and in ensuring that they are complied with equally by both men and women for the benefit of humanity while allowing solutions to escape dangerous situations.

  • @johnmortality
    @johnmortality Před 2 lety

    When this is "religion" you are no longer interested in the scriptures, and all you really want is to tick off every box on the woke-gospel check box: virtue isn't virtue, replace commitment to your husband with a vacuous commitment to God, explain that girls have priesthood power at baptism - we keep discovering girls have priesthood already more and more so that one day we can ordain them without anyone batting an eyelash. Pure spiritual rubbish. Has all the spiritual depth of reading a bubble gum wrapper.
