    Hands down the most exciting time to be a woman on this earth! I thank you for your knowledge, for your time and energy and sacrifice as you have been taught by the Spirit, and for your generosity in sharing it with all of us. The gospel of Jesus Christ blesses our lives in ways too numerous to begin to mention.

    Thank you Sister Gardner. I have slowly been studying to understand the priesthood power in my life starting with a talk at Women’s Conference at BYU, about fives years ago. I heard about your book in November and it’s sitting on my nightstand right now. I’m not far but I am grateful for your thoughts on going to the temple and learning more of the priesthood power available to me. Thank you again.

    Barbara, thank you for such an amazing presentation--I will definitely be sharing this with everyone I know--absolutely pinpointed what Pres. Nelson's directive was for women at the last conference; and what the future holds for Latter-day Saint sisters is going to be so bright.

    Thank you Barbara for your 5-minute talk and for your book. You have opened my eyes to a power which I have never fully understood. But I sure plan to change that now!

    I feel that understanding the priesthood in this way is one of the miracles that President Nelson talked about as we prepare for the Second Coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I know this will help my family be more united in familial priesthood power.

    Sister Gardner, thank you so much for your study and teaching of this wonderful power that our Heavenly Father has given and gives us, and is at our beacon call whenever we need it and we listen and do. Alot to say on this endless power our Father tries to give us if we will only allow him to help us. 😌

    Love that talk and I study everything that I came across
    Found a beautiful 2 part on stage presentation on The Priesthood and what women have part in every parts, whenever They are called apart to have a calling in The Church.
    One of the first was The Relief Society and Healing gift From The first for 100 years.
    We still have the gift for praying for others and blessings for homes and those we are studying with
    Never stop studying the priesthood ❤️🌹🙏

    A grave mistake, in fact, not only are women not ordained to priesthood offices, but the priesthood has not been conferred upon them. First the priesthood is conferred, then the man is ordained to an office in the priesthood.

    Why do I feel so different now ? In a good way ?

  • @jameshamilton9051
    @jameshamilton9051 Před 3 lety +3

    It is my personal belief that before God could implement the Plan of Salvation He first needed the sustaining vote of women. I believe this is symbolized by Eve being the first to partake of the fruit. It is women who partner with God in bringing His spirit children into the world and they do so by entering the "valley of the shadow of death" called childbirth. Men partner with God when they receive the Priesthood and emulate the Father as they love and serve their wives and children thus magnifying the Priesthood. "... neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord."

    Yeah we can definitely utilize the priesthood. Deborah the priestess in the Bible was a prime example. Barack the general took her to battle to have her guide him on God's will for the army.

    Why can't prophets and apostles explain this as clearly as this woman did? I feel as church leaders purposefully leave members in confusion, omitting key info

  • @starlegends3092

    That is better then thinking woman dont have presthood power, as it is the power if God. I would worry:do men become more like God then woman?

    • @happylatter-daysaint3503
      @happylatter-daysaint3503 Před 2 lety +1

      No, men do not become more like God. We as His children, male & female alike, will inherit all He has. This is stated many times in the scriptures.

  • @hanoybabesh8287

    Instead of wasting all the paper and Worry about who said what and what you should worry about what says in the Bible just follow what the Bible says Do you see anywhere in the Bible that says woman can be priest or have been priest ever Of course not so don’t come at the last moments of life and tell everyone that you can be a police woman If you are lost don’t let everyone else get lost like you

  • @gracegiven8875

    If we make sure the women have priesthood we can allow for lesbian sealings

  • @gymnastm1

    Hmmm seems like she is trying to make women feel like they are treated equally rather than the sad reality that they are suppressed.

    • @acuerdo3
      @acuerdo3 Před 3 lety +3

      If men try to suppress women because they have the priesthood, they clearly do not understand what that power is all about. They clearly misuse the priesthood because suppressing anyone is definitely not how God works.

      gymnastm1 That is the stupidest thing I've read. My wife is not suppressed and you are more than welcome to come and talk to her about it. And I see my wife use priesthood power daily, you have no idea what you are talking about.
