This 30 minute Barreless Bootcamp is designed to challenge you. You will need: a set of light DBs (3-8lbs) and an optional mat. That’s it! There is very minimal recovery time during this workout, so take breaks when needed! Also, I cued less to transition more smoothly to keep the HR slightly elevated. This is challenging. Larie, I LOVE this video! Thank you so much! I find videos without music to be much more fun -- I love being able to play my own playlists. SO NICE. Barre workouts are my go - to and this is a great one. I do like that I was able to use a barre for support (instead of a wall). Please keep that in mind for those of us that need the barre for support and injury prevention. Please continue to post regularly. You are the best!!!

This was a wonderful workout. I had limited time this morning so I figured short and sweet, but it was really short and sweat :) I love your workouts, I find them challenging but not crazy, and easy to follow. My only suggestion, as one who has been taking classes at gyms for 4 decades (stuck at home during Corona , sheltering at home)....since we're looking at you, we're mirroring your moves. It's a little confusing since you're saying right/left, while we're doing left/right, mirroring you. In my experience, it's easier for those following (harder for you, though) if you would call out opposite from what you're doing. Just a suggestion....I love your workouts, your style, your personality. Stay safe and healthy, you and your family. Thank you for this!

Larie! I'm on my third week of your Month 1 strength training program. I am hungry all. the time. Any thoughts on what to eat while strength training? I'm just constantly eating cheese sticks and nuts and yogurt outside of regular meals!

I’m not a registered dietician, so take what I say with a grain of salt...
I’d suggest eating more voluminous foods. Foods that will make you feel full. Veggies, fruits (berries in particular), and lean protein. Our body uses protein to repair broken down muscle and typically uses carbs the best for fuel/energy.
Here’s what I’ve eaten today:
Veggie egg white omelet
Pamcakes (brand of protein pancakes)
Cauliflower shrimp fried rice
A cookie lol YOLO
Spinach taco salad with lean ground turkey and pretzel thins for the crunch
Wheat bread with PB2
Fit crunch bar (protein bar in snack size)
Will be crushing some tuna tacos, veggies, and an oatmeal/yogurt/fruit bowl this evening.
Drinking ample fluids will also help.
