I'nt that Jerry Booth off Corrie? Quite a few other faces I notice here: Bryan Pringle the veteran comedy actor and it looks like Mr. Lucas isn't quite free yet!
And Denise Coffey, who went on to be the evil Mrs Black in Do Not Adjust Your Set (and Vera Straightman in End Of Part One, a show I loved in the olden days), not to mention John Woodvine, which must've made a change for him, as he often played policemen! He most recently appeared in a film called Enys Men at the age of 93,with his daughter Mary Woodvine.
@@BackToTheBlues End Of Part One was one of the most underrated comedy shows of that era, like ITV's answer to Python. Never got the respect it deserved.
The nicknames they had made my step dad roar with laughter. He liked the show so much he would leave the pub to come home and watch IT. 🍺 Nothing else ever managed to do that so it must be a lot better that I thought it was at the time. I liked The Man From U.N.C.L.E. & Get Smart on the other side. 😂
Can see my late parents house on this . A lot of it was filmed behind our house . Memories.
Whereabouts? Is this Radcliffe?

@@darganx Twas indeed - as I recall it was broadcast on a Sunday afternoon, which seemed an odd time for a comedy show.
there should be a reality show about garbage men
On at a time when you only supported Manchester City because you couldn't spell United!
This is 1969 and City STILL ain't Champions of Europe!!
@@darganx That hasn't aged well.
