Picking up where I left off in the last Trans AM episode, I finally get to install this new Stage II kit from QA1. Excellent instructions and well built, quality hardware made install a breeze. Too bad TwinSticks didn’t follow the disassembly instructions … apologies in advance to the alignment tech who’ll bring it back into spec haha
If you’re curious about upgrading the suspension on your car or truck, go check out what they have for your specific ride at: www.qa1.net/

Mark, I've been a longtime viewer. Ever since you picked up the Pete in that field. As much as I appreciate the diversity of your channel, every week I turn the channel on I wonder: "When is Ole Twinsticks gonna finish the Pete?" You did such a great job on Snowman. I can't wait to see Ole Blue finally painted!!
Trying to get some traction on this TA then it’s back to LBL 👍
You heard about the legend of Jesse James and John Henry just to mention some names..... Best movie ever!
I see what you did on the intro there 😂😂😂👍🏻👊🏼🙌🏼👊🏼👍🏻
Awesome intro… looks familiar.. 👍🏻👍🏻
I thought the exact same thing when I saw the stacks 😅 but there was no lift with Ban 2 and missing the trailer so not to many similarities
Can somebody explain this reference?😅
THE movie
From a track car builder - get your coilovers built and installed and set your ride heigh, but dont super tighten the ride height and preload adjustment rings.
Then take the weight off, use a sharpie to mark where the rings sit, screw them up/down and only antiseize where they sit, then put them and tighten them down. Saves money and mess!
That intro was awesome
Just a tip from a guy in the suspension industry. Do not torque down the bolts at any pivot point in the suspension before putting the vehicle on the ground. Tightening that hardware with the vehicle in the air like that puts those bushings into a preload when you put it on the ground. That can cause things like stiff feedback, squeaking noises, and also make the bushings wear prematurely.
That intro was the best ever
Oh my goodness! You made that look so easy! Glad you're making it safe... And FUN!! Well done!
Perfect intro 😄😄
Mark I gotta admit it’s a little different seeing you work on cars instead of big rigs but I sure do love your content keep up the good work mark 10-4 !!
love the opening that was awesome 👌 keep up the good work Mark 🤘😎
Way too short of a video I am loving this trans am build old hot rodder at heart long before I was jamming gears was working on old hot rods✝️✝️✝️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦👍👍👍😎
Hey, Mark. Had to fix the shifter on one of our trucks today and walked into a huge Kenworth dealer for parts. Got to see the new K220 cabover which was sweet. Fairly similar to the old K2. But they had all the shiny stuff inside! Man, it made me wish I was still driving trucks!
Thought you'd appreciate that anecdote.
Mark you never seemed to amaze me you have come along way. I've seen you work on little by little out in the snow. I think you are doing a great job my friend give yourself a pat on the back. We love the videos you have over come and saved yourself alot of money by doing it yourself I encourage you to keep up the great work my friend. Long time viewer have a blessed day. If you got it a trucker brought it.
Before you tighten down the bolts on the pivot point for the A-Arms you want to make sure the car is sitting on its own wait. If you tighten down on the bolts in the rubber bushings on the pivot points with the A arms at full drupe the rubber bushings can tair
I like the intro of the Bandit truck in the beginning of the video. Very cool way to open the show. make it permanent. Also that airbag jack is very cool
Definitely no body roll while Mrs TwinStix doin 110 with that front sway bar!!! Looking good ! Thanks for letting us in on your passion.
Awesome intro on the KW been waiting for an intro like that from the movie..
The opening was perfect!
Awesome video Mark! I can't wait ta see the finished product running down the road with Snowman!
Mark seems to be all about Smokey and the bandit I guess the little by little is living up to its name. Anyway hey it’s up to him what goes on .
Just trying to get some momentum on BANONE … I haven’t given up on LBL - more episodes coming soon 👀
@@TwinStix I get it mark yeah hard to know which projected to work on whatever works mark i’am still watching you cheers.
That intro ❤
Hey Mark love the channel. I watched the whole Snowman build and you did a great job. One thing your missing on the snowman trailer is the spare tire carrier. Hope you get the time to add it love your work keep up the great work.
Yeah I noticed it on the one of the movie trailers but I’m just not that crazy about how it looks so I’ll probably leave it off 🤔
Intro looks so good
looking great mark be careful taking a corner too fast might spill your coffee nooo not my coffee have a great day buddy
loved the intro mark, the bandit start uber hot, and that air jack its the dogs, loved the vid as always m the UK.
The QA1 suspension setup looks like it's well thought out and easy to work with.
Front end work without fighting with old parts...what a joy.
Although, not sure jumping bridges covered under mfr warranty.
Looks good!
the t/a will run and handle better than ban one ever dreamed of.
Great intro luv the show always look forward to watching every Thursday 😀
Another great show Mark. I enjoy all your content.

Looks great and looks pretty easy to put on
Loved the intro
What I do for a living is I drive dump trucks for a living for a rock quarry and once in awhile I help with the caterpillar in to load up the dump trucks it's a fun job but I make time for you I enjoy what you do on my fan
Mornin Mark, The new steering parts look pretty awesome, I am going to check them out for parts for my 68 Plymouth. Great video Mark see you next week have a good week my friend say hello to Mrs. Twin stix for us.
Awesome intro!! If you know you know!!
Thursday treat
Awesome intro love it!
Love that intro reminds me of something we all know
When you do the tie rod ends get the "bump steer kit" ones since you are messing with the suspension geometry
Wow great job on the intro!!
Gday Mark,
The QA1 gear looks like a nice kit . Along with the air bag jack it made for a cool vid .
Respect....!
BEST intro ever!!
I bought one of the Vevor jacks, it is awesome!!!!!!!! The only thing is, they say it lifts 5 tons or 11,000 pounds! The last time I checked 1 ton was 2,000 pounds! Do the math LOL!!!!!!
I have 2 of those vevor jacks..had for couple years noe.i use them on big trucks all the time..they r my go to first when i need a jack
It’s amazing how quick they are 👍
Nice work... I would toss everything past the steering box if it's still tight... End links, clamps, center link, and steering arms
QA1 looking good Mark
bonjour, quand on voit le travail sur le camion ainsi que la remorque de ce superbe projet,on saura que la voiture sera aussi une réplique exacte du film .. bravo !!!
Love that intro brother!
Looking good mark 👍 you should look into a rack and pinion conversion
Those air jacks If they come loose they will take of like a rocket. ...😎
Love that Smokey and the Bandit Intro Homage, heheheh
Great intro 😎
Loved that intro, I wish you make that your new intro.
intro looks familiar, one of my favorite movies
Nice.
Mark, great job putting in the front suspension in the Bandit One car. I woulda cleaned the underside of the wheel hub, dirty..
Hell yeah!!
Great into and awsome job on the install on the qa1 parts
If you end up needing to adjust the steering stop don't use a stack of washers. Pull the bolt all the way out put a nut on it and use it as a jam nut to hold the stop bolt where you need it. It'll be a lot cleaner
So I attended the heavy truck show in Toronto today…. Guess what was on display. Smokey tractor, Bandit and the sheriff’s car. Under my breath I said “ that aint Twin Sticks”.
Haha yeah I had a few folks send me pics. That TA was mint but lots of movie incorrectness on the truck 😂
You guys can legally go the "110" that the speedo was showing in the movie lol
Hellow mark good job on ta
Hey man you should put subframe connectors and solid mounts in to tie that in solid
That’s the plan 👍
Could zip through the disassembly video to maybe catch a glimpse of how many shims were where for the a arms
That intro made me jealous
I've heard about the legend of Jesse James and John Henry.
The wooly mammoth in the room... will the suspension handle Edmontons potholes.... LOL
Get that car some good weld in subframe connectors. It makes a big difference, especially on a t top car....even more so on a late 78 to 81 with the larger fischer t tops.
Its in the plan 👍
Took you long enough to cover the movie opening
>Caution< to the Vevor air jack. Please have a nylon or stainless braided 1/4 air hose made. That plastic tubing will not last. If it breaks, the air jack comes down fast. A hose made cost me $35.
You heared the legend bout Jesse James
And John Henry just to mention some names
Well theres a truck wrenching legend in the North today
A man called Twin Sticks from Cana D A
😎👍
Mark, ditch the old tie rod and sterling box disaster and upgrade to rack and pinion. Also would it better to tighten up all the suspension components when the car in on its wheels on the ground, if you tighten them up whilst in the air the bushes may well twist when it’s set on the ground. I’m only saying.
Racing round corner lol... it's tran am that funny
So just to confirm: When Mrs. Twinsticks gets to driving the Trans Am, does this mean she'll be "Bandita?" 🤔
Hi mark when are u going to start painting little by little n the trans am looks Kool with all of its new parts on it
Painting works better in warmer weather
Nice job. What's the delay on working on LBL? Is it still the captive nuts or the new door skins? Don't forget to retorque all the suspension on Bandit 1 once the engine and gearbox is in and it's sitting on its own wheels again.
Would like to get the TA to the Lesco show in Sept
Marc, you need to change those body bushings if the Mrs, will make be making flat hundred mph turns, Oh and frame connectors to tie in the front suspension to the rear suspension Then the Mrs can drift that bird around corners...Your welcome
the real question here is:
will the snowman dae 95?
BTW. a Holley Brand (Forged something) makes Suspension parts like the Tierod the support for the pivotarm for Pontiacs,
that stuff is beefyer than stock.
🤠👍
The old jar of man glitter 😂😂😂
Did you know that the "Hotrod" look with the back end higher is probably the WORST for traction/ launch, the lower the front the more weight is transferred to the front/ less weight on the drive tires = spinning out
All those nice booger welds from the factory. They really just didn't care did they? I mean, I can't weld, but at least I know I can't weld!
How can you over do it with it anti seize? As you say, " Some is good, more is better.". You can never over do it there. 😅
will you do subframe connectors?
10-4 👍
since your all tour down you should really think about sub frame connectors,,,,,,,,with the new power and torque it would be wise
Oh it’s in the plan 👍
