I got this amazing light bar on Amazon it's made by LAFEINA and it's really Cool for this Traxxas TRX 6, it has Multi-Function mode switch and it's LED.. It come in all white but a little Rust-Oleum metallic paint and some Cricut Vinyl gives it a better look...

Looks great man!! I was on the fence with this light bar since it was made with white plastic but the paint job you did on it looks fantastic!! Were you able to take it apart to paint it, or did you just mask it off real good?
Also I just added the sense hobby ESS dual engine sound speaker and let me tell you, it sounds so good!!! Highly recommend adding one to your rig!!! 😎

This has 2 small screws in the bottom and is simple to take apart and paint the white any color, I choose silver and then used black vinyl to cover the middle ...my only concern is where the switch is on the bottom can be difficult to get to, as it doesn't come on with the Truck... The ESS Sound system is something I have been looking at too

Could you possibly tell me how to wire this light to the ultimate hauler, I’ve already burnt up a $100 light beside the voltage was too low, so then tried it on 11.6v needless to say it looked good for about 20 seconds! Thank you! Good video
Thank You for Watching and the Great Comment, I used the RPM port with an extension cable to troph the wires, making sure the +/- are correct and then clicking the mode (on/off) switch in the bottom of the light bar and it works as shown in the Video without any issues, Good Luck with this project

Thank You for Watching and Your Great Question 💯 The On/Off switch is located under the bottom of the light so I have to use my small flat screwdriver or pocket knife blade to push up on it, it doesn't take alot of pressure to activate it but still not simple to access, I looked at it to possibly move it but it's soldered into the circuit board and would require some extensive modification...

@@LRCR ah, I found it on UK Amazon, and more pics. I may drill a hole and loosely attach a bolt or something so it can press the button! dunno yet.
So the base bolts to the hauler frame, then the lens bolts to the base?
BTW if you want to protect the lens, drill holes at either end and attach something taller than the lens. Doesn't need to be much, will prevent most roll over damage!!! 👍🍺🇬🇧

I took it apart to paint and wrap the vinyl case, the circuit board and LEDs are mounted and it comes with the standoff brackets, I choose to mount it to the headache rack instead of the removable lexan cab, there are always options on anything RC that's another reason I enjoy the Hobby 👍😎👍 AOAH =Association of Addicted Hobbiest
Hey I’m trying to connect the same lightbar on my hauler. But I’ve tried plugging it into both empty slots on the receiver which are V/T or RPM slots and the lights won’t work. Just wondering which slot you plugged yours into?
Thank's for Watching and Commenting My Friend 💯 I'm sure I used the same rpm port as you did, just a couple of suggestions, make sure the + and - are plugged in right, and remember this light bar has a switch in the bottom that has to be turned on everytime you power up the truck (kinda pain to get to) the switch also changes modes

Having the same problem . The 2 empty slots won’t power the light only works if I unplug one of the servos and plug light in ????

@@LRCR yea i think alot of people are using them for their on roads like their 4-tecs. try a 13t pinion on second gear and see how quick she gets. my 3800kv castle setup gets her over 20-25 mph i think. i run mine mostly on road but off road when i get a chance. trailing in the city.

@@LRCR i tried a few differant tooth pinions and found the 13t is the sweet spot .. atleast for me.
