    • @thecollectorrc
      @thecollectorrc  Před 2 lety

      So, when connected to channel 5 and 6 you're using the dials correct? If so then twist the dials from one end to the next quickly and hopefully you'll see the lights change modes. If you leave the dials at 1/2 turn when you've selected your mode you can continue to switch modes from where you stopped. If after you've selected your mode and you moved the dial to "off/0" just move the dial to 1/2 turn and it'll shut off.

    These are so cool! Thinking about getting a light bar light that. Would this work for my new axial scx10 II? Wondering how I would change the light colors?
    Sorry for all the questions new to RC here

    • @thecollectorrc
      @thecollectorrc  Před 2 lety

      Glad to help....So the easiest way is having a transmitter that has at least 3 channels minimum, but recommended 5 channel is ideal. Plug the lights into an empty channel that has either a dial or button on the remote (Transmitter). When the RC powers up you'll see the L. Bar turn on then turn off or flash white for a second.
      Now the mode select on a button is operated by pressing the button quickly and you should see it cycle through its 20 modes. The mode select using a dial is operated by quickly moving the dial rotational left and right.
      If you decide to purchase and need assistance we have a F.B. group (The Collector RC) where one of us 4 can walk you through the steps.
      Hope this helps.

      @@thecollectorrc wow thank you for the detailed reply! I will have to look into this. I have the stock Tactic TR325 2.4GHz 3 channel receiver, with the TTX200 2.4GHz transmitter. Not sure if these would work.
      Can't believe how cheap it is too. I've been looking at some of the pro line stuff and it looks nice but it's hella expensive.
      I will definitely reach out to you if I need any help. Thank you!

      So sorry for the delayed response. We had to be creative with mounting. The 10-iii we got lucky and managed to get the holes perfectly and the lights just installed with no actual mounts. Literally just sat inside the hole freely.

    If I get this how would I make it change light patterns on my transmitter?

    • @thecollectorrc
      @thecollectorrc  Před 2 lety

      I personally use either channel 5 or 6 which are technically potentiometers (rotational dials) on the FS-GT5 transmitter. It's tricky to explain so the easiest way to figure it out is to quickly rotate one of those dials and you'll see it turn on and go throw each mode.
      If you need a better example you can temporarily (or permanently) Join our Facebook group "TheCollectorRC" and just ask. We'll provide a video explaining how it all works. 😉

    • @thecollectorrc
      @thecollectorrc  Před 2 lety +1

      It's all in the Receiver and ESC. As long as you have the channels to spare and a transmitter to control the lights.

    • @danimentv5306
      @danimentv5306 Před 2 lety +1

      @@thecollectorrc on esc there is a connector on channel 3 and on the controller there is a channel switch with three positions

    • @thecollectorrc
      @thecollectorrc  Před 2 lety +1

      Ok. I'm not 100% on that particular RC, but if you have a (3 plug) channel #3 and a switch on controller then it should work. The concern would be in the power/voltage area and if your ESC has enough to power the lights.

    • @danimentv5306
      @danimentv5306 Před 2 lety +1

      @@thecollectorrc how do I know if I have enough voltage? if it has anything to do with the battery, then there is 3S

    • @thecollectorrc
      @thecollectorrc  Před 2 lety

      It's what the ESC allows through. Remember E-Electronic, S-speed, C-control so it limits voltage and then gives you a range using a potentiometer aka (throttle) to control......tech stuff 😆.
      You should be good to use with what you have.

    Can this work on a rtg crawler?

    • @thecollectorrc
      @thecollectorrc  Před 2 lety

      As long as you have a free channel in your receiver and a transmitter that can control that said channel. So, CH3 would work if your controller has a dial/switch/button for 3rd channel.
