@ microSHIFT, at the 2:56 mark, when demonstrating the removal of the cassette lockring, the adjustable spanner is positioned in such a way that torque is being applied to the worm screw. Instead the wrench should have the fixed jaw flipped around in the other orientation when removing the lockring.

Yes, they should be available in late fall. The price is up to the retailers, so I'm not sure how much they will end up at.
