Oh, its way more messed up than that.
He got all memories about multiverse messed up in his head in one huge gordian knot of anger. Some can even say that it left a mark on his mind. Aaaaaaaaaand he blamed Mark for this condition. So he lashed out. Like a rabid dog. And to escape cognitive dissonance between his villanous actions, heroic actions of Mark and his memories he orchestrated that plan of sending monstorus versions to one huge battle royale on a planet, to make the world hate, fear and reject Mark, to make him broken, to mould him in image of memories. Well, instead he moulded a Mark very much willing to kill him, fight to the death, rip and tear Tragg untill its done.

I love that they made Angstrom a tragic character. As a human, he wanted to save Earth, and then every other Earth in every dimension he could find with no payment in return. Just because he has the power to achieve it. But his mutation would make him annihilate Earth and kill thousands more people than Omni-Man ever did out of sheer revenge, completely forgetting his original goal

He _did_ strand them. And Angstrom promising to help an alternate Mark in the genderbent universe but leaving him to die when he got what he wanted was foreshadowing that he's a snake to any version of Mark

Honestly, Angstorm Levi is a villain that does deserve to die and not get mercy. His irredeemable qualities and sociopathic tedency only makes him a complete hypocrite and more evil than the Evil Marks he despises. The death he got from Robot in the Mohawk Mark's universe is actually pretty satisfying
