I like how Debbie didn't hate Oliver for just existing and she actually loved him like her own.
She could have been like Catelyn Stark, but she didn't.
she is already broken and alone. and Oliver come and give her hope and a new duty. i love this character
I mean yes it also if they had a trusted friend raise Oliver instead it would have been great too.
I don’t think most people would accept raising the love child of their sociopathic ex-spouse who nearly killed their kid, called them a pet, and also murdered hundreds of innocent people.
Yes he changes and I love that whole redemption thing but trust would be irrevocably broken
Catelyn didn’t want to -‘but she did take care of Jon Snow
@@zachanikwano That's why I don't want Nolan and Debbie to get back together in the show. It makes her seem too much like a doormat.
Damn, Oliver metamorphed into an evil looking frenchman.
"evil looking frenchman" french people are already evil
Trust me, je suis français
Frenchman ??
@@DiaboloO_66 yes i was born and raised in France, i still live there
His name is Oliver 🤷🏿♂️
Nah, a gentleman English aristocrat who was a fighter ace during the war.
I can't believe baby thanos grew up to become nightwing to then later grow up into double agent freddie mercury
I like the idea that as the viltrumite offspring age they basically become full viltrumite that’s a cool concept. Shows how pure their genes are. 👍
It seems like the advantageous traits of the other species remain though. Oliver was able to keep the instant learning potential of his species and also be able to grow up much faster than any human or viltrumite. Curious to wonder if that's how viltrumite genetics actually work. It'd be impressive if it was that selective.
You mean how “dominant” their genes are.
Its like.theg become 99% viltrumite and leave 1% for any little advantage the pther species could have lol. Like Mark having adrenaline rushes
@@THENemesisXX99 Considering most of our cells renew completely after a certain time in different rythms via cell division. It's plausible that, in the hybrids' cases, the newer cells are either full viltrumite or only progressively in order to keep the few genetic advantages of the other species.
What's more is that Oliver isn't the exception. SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER
Thragg sires a legion of children on Thraxa to take advantage of the Thraxan's genetic traits and recruit a whole new army to fight against Nolan and Mark.@@1erickf50
I still think Oliver dying is some bullshit
Me too bro
If they changed this in the show I wouldn't mind
@@MrTacosBD same honestly
@@MrTacosBDyeah and that means friendship between Allen and Mark wont change cuz of it
Nah it’s kinda essential to the story
This is one detail people NEVER speak on. Thragg was impatient. Viltrumite DNA is the most dominant in the universe. The pink/reddish color thraxan viltrumites have and them being weaker is their DNA conflicting with eachother. If you look at adult Oliver or even Thraggs daughter years after the conflict the viltrumite DNA takes over so much they pretty much become nearly full viltrumite. If Thragg would have waited for all his children to reach maturity before going to war their fight against the main characters would have been 10 times more difficult to the point Thragg most likely would have won. But he sent them out while they were all frail and weak and ....we seen what happened. They would have been fighting thousands of full-blown viltrumites and not crash test dummies who can throw a decent punch. It would have been young mark and viltrumites vs Thragg and his thraxan viltrumites who have both reached maturity and trained under Thragg(which would translate to a deadly level of skill combined combined with their Thraxan intellect to learn things extremely fast).
if they would have waited they wouldve died mark was already at conquest level at teenager put a 100 years mark in their mark will destroy thragg easily
@@user-eb7cq3jt7n I never said to wait 100 years…that is a drastic leap…I said to wait until they reach viltrumite maturity and when the Thraxan DNA is diminished to a certain degree. Oliver and a few others never even had pink/purple skin when that time came(Maybe 2-5 years) . Combine that with Thragg training them and it would have been a wrap. Due to them not even engaging them mark would have got stronger somewhat depending on how much time passed but he wouldn’t have been in any world shaking conflicts to leap him to higher levels. They would have been in peace while the enemy is building in secret
that doesn't matter , if thragg had waited 5 years all his army woulld be on oliver level , imagine 1000 oliver attacking the alliance , even if mark was at thragg level after the time skip he wouldn't do shit against 1000 viltrumite.@@user-eb7cq3jt7n
I hope the writers of Invincible take a page out of the boy's. Even with the boy's television series. It veer off the comic, but in a good way.The television version has a better story line
"Crash test dummies" 💀
Oliver is a living definition of “they grow up so fast.” He went from babbling baby to Walt Disney.
Damn, and I thought Thragg looked the most like Freddie Mercury.
Clearly that's the real reason he killed Oliver. He took one look at adult Oliver and went "There can only be one!"
"Mamaaaaaa, just killed a man!"
@@theprocrastinator6813 "Put a fist against his chest,"
I always thought it was funny how, out of all the Thraxan genes that stayed in Oliver's system, one of the most prominent ones was a sexual attraction to bugs lol
Something about Oliver's aging seems really weird to me. At first, Nolan think that due to being half Thraxan, Oliver won't live as long as a full blooded Viltrumite or Viltrumite-Human hybrids. He except Oliver to live ONLY centuries or a few milleniums but... Even after reaching puberty, Oliver still age pretty fast to me. I expected his young adult form to stick around for a few decades or even centuries but after just 5 years, he is like someone who is already past 30... Nolan said that everyone and everything Mark ever knew would be LONG gone before he even look 30... meaning that it would take at least centuries. Yet Oliver reached that point in only 7 years... when I see things like that, I highly doubt that Oliver would go past 200 or 300 years...
They only live a year that's 100 times less than a human he still would live longer but he's still has that 1 year gene in him
So what seemed weird with the aging as u said Omni didn’t expect Olivier to live as long as them the time skip shows tht Omni mans theory was correct he might gotten to live maybe a century or 2 but his parents dna is so far off each other it’s insane one lives for thousands of years the other lives for mere months
When Oliver was a baby, he aged so quick because of thraxan dna. He’s only a month old, but he looks like a year old already.
Oliver is literally a 7 year old prodigy you see in sports channels 😂🤣
oliver be the kid every asian parent compares their kid to
Yeah if ya watched the latest episode of Invincible, they are going down this route, I love it, I love how accurate they stay to the comics
He ain't marry the queen. they changed that in the show
@@CrimsonShadowKing666 so just that one thing they changed changes everything else ? Loser
There's some changes that are dumb (some characters are race changed but amber being race changed and being turned into an unlikable cunt is the worst)
Yea idk about 100% accuracy after watching the finale of s2 but yes it’s been very close to the comics so far.
I hope they don't kill Oliver in the show or at least make his death more impactful
I agree this felt abrupt and I can imagine by the time we reach this point people who are fans of the show will have grown a strong liking to his character especially when it’s animated . Bumping him off like this will agitate a lot of people and would be extremely sad while also making people who haven’t read the comics thrown off by mark and atom Eve just *poof* back to 100% again. I love the invincible comics but that section of the story needs an entire re-do because the episode will feel shocking and flat at the same time despite the action. I understand stand the shock of killing off characters but there isn’t a whole lot to really gain with killing off Mark especially by this point in the story when EVERYONE will be already fully aware how dangerous and OP Thragg is
This show has The Walking Dead in its DNA - how do you think it will end?
I just hope they change his fate in the show. I hated his death when I read these comics as a kid and I still hate it rereading them now. Eve saying “I loved Oliver too..” is one of the most impactful lines in the series tho
His whole life felt like a pointless experiment.
Basically Doomsday.
I'm an old man but I think that the Invincible saga would have fit in well with Marvel Comics Savage Tales back in the 70s because this comic is NO HOLDS BARRED in my opinion.
Kid Omni-man should’ve been changed to Omni-kid
They shook change it to that in the show.
Agreed
omni boy
Oliver grew to look amazing
Oliver should be voiced by breaking bad, Aaron Paul
That would be awesome
Kid trunks should voice him when he’s young
I think Oliver could be pretty important in the show, I mean from what we have seen Mark joins the Viltrumites in most other universes, so Nolan never goes to Thraxa. This means Oliver is quite rare I’d say
How crazy how they could just reassemble their body like dude, those intestines are spilled and cut out.
Actually your intestine can rearrange themselve after being taken out of your body, some surgeon did this to make room during surgery and after it's done they just shove it back inside and the intestines will rearrange themselve
@@fukaze2021 That's fucking wild
@@fukaze2021neat.
@@fukaze2021 i hope they make spaghetti slurping noises
I believe if Oliver was 7 years at the age of his death but already a grown adult. He probably could live up to 300 years old max with his mother’s dna
He said don't argue about the thumbnail, it was for fascination or something
they said his aging would slow by the time he’s in his prime and would start aging like the average viltrumite
@@jico5147 that’s right but I still don’t think he’ll live over 500 years overall because of his other heritage not being compatible to humans or Viltrumite dna
@@julianjones1000 no he could, once his viltrumite genetics take over completely he would age just like the average viltrumite. say he and mark both aged to as old as they both could be, oliver would probably die anywhere from a few hundred years before him to maybe a few years before him. i still think with how his lifespan works he wouldn’t ever age past mark but the difference in age wouldn’t be that drastic. with the way viltrumite genetics work, his other genes will eventually become muted and he would basically be 100% viltrumite over time, even if his race doesn’t meet a viltrumites purity standards. some proof i have for oliver probably aging normal is ursaal, who was still fairly young looking after the 500 year time jump which tells that she’ll probably age just like the average viltrumite.
@@jico5147 Yeah I too had a doubt regarding his aging process but ursaal clears it all.
Hey Allen the guy when are we going to get part 2 to the invincible full story ?
I love your narration of Invincible. I also like that Steven Yeun is working with Robert Kirkman again after The Walking Dead. I am just wondering-- what if Grand Regent Thragg is voiced by Jeffrey Dean Morgan? It would be a bit of irony pairing Steven Yeun with Jeffrey Dean Morgan again, but it would be really cool to see them working together.
Steven Yeun "Hey didn't you smash my skull in the last time we met?"
Jeffrey Dean Morgan "Yes, and I will do it again! Great working with you again!"
Thragg sending his kids against Mark & co. was like sending mosquitoes against a bug zapper. Granted, he had like 2,000 kids but still, it was wasteful
I think he had way more just see the panel where thousands of them were flying around thrag.
Oliver should've been way more powerful than Mark due to how quickly his race ages.
humans are more compatible with viltrumite genetics but also mark has taken a lot more fights and damaged that it caused him to be more resilient. also the more battles a viltrumite survives, the more resilient they are. - mark's taken more hits. hope this helps!
@@thefreefencerJust like Saiyans and their Zenkai boosts. Too bad Kryptonians don't get any sort of near death perks.
Nah. Thraxan DNA isnt very compatible. If it was, you would have alot more Invincible/conquest moments but with Thraggs children.
@@eugeneturner7520 yea but kryptonians are far stronger than viltrumites and saiyans in the first place. Some random kryptonians from the bottled city of kandor and curb stomped doomsday by phasing through all of his attacks and speedblitzing him. The implication is that the kryptonian race are all relative to Superman and on top of that they are can’t die of old age or disease.
Thragg went straight for Oliver's heart. The heart is a Viltrumite's weakness
Oliver's death was devastating
11:00 Mommy Atom Eve
Oliver dodged the bullet from Thragg but still dies to him
A few things I hope change for Oliver in the show is that they write him in a way for him to become stronger, not to the point he’s op but so he’s still able to handle himself and hold his own against other foes and the rest of the heroes, at least give him a few unique scenes of him adapting to earth and starting to like it more giving him some character development and If they still write Oliver to be a spy for Thragg have it make sense like his family is threatened or he’s manipulated, if not then have Oliver’s death actually be worth it instead of him just working with Thragg for no reason I get he’s more alien than human but still he shouldn’t do this in the show as he really does care about mark.
He was a triple agent, he was pretending to work for Thragg while secretly working for Allen.
they said the point of him working with thragg was because he was the best way of getting close to him to give the coalition information on thraggs plans.
Mark with a beard goes hard.
RIP GOAT
That explains why Nolan kept trying if at first you failed miserably on Earth go to a different planet breed with a different species all together and get it right the second time and in Nolan's case even if you still can't get the pictures of Spider-Man
Died protecting his niece
Marks hairline suffered
It was just because a different artist did that volume it goes back to normal after
Omni man jr. He just matching omni man’s hairline the more he ages
I can’t not wait till Thaddeus and the coalition pull up to Viltrum in the animated series.
By the time Oliver reaches 1 year old, his aging will probably slow down. He just needs more battle experience
Invincible just got better durability 💯💯💯💯
its impossible to unsee robin costume oliver
I wonder if some of his designs were inspired by Tim Drake's Robin.
NOOOO his life can't just end like that 😢
I wish it didn't end like that for Oliver
Oliver is so smart
how
Can you do entire life of Allen the alien? 😁
Oliver in theory should be the strongest viltrumite because viltrumites get stronger the older they get, and Oliver’s mothers race ages at like 1000000000000000 times the rate that humans do that’s like a cheat code for extra XP points
Wow that was kind of sad the rarest person in the Multiverse gets killed💯😭😭😭😭
Oliver. 😢
oliver really thinks he was mamma mia mamma mia mamma mia let me go
But with a lobster alien... come on... there's plenty of fishes, I mean ... nevermind.
He didn't want a fish, He wanted a lobster
Imaging having to mate with a grass hopper. That would be so freaky. The absolute horror would be intense.
They dont call him Omni Man for nothing
Lmaoooooo mark did the same to thragg kid😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 good oliver saw it
When I saw Oliver in season 2 episode 4, I thought he was gonna be like Damian Wayne (robin).
oliver sounds father-less as a kid lmfao.
Omniman wasnt around for like half a thraxans lifespan anyways.
It would be nice if they played on this in the show.
Hopefully the show changes his story a little bit.
I wonder how long could Oliver live, he seemed early midfle aged in last appearance. And he wasn't that old even by human standards.
thraxan and viltrumite babies aare op they just grow up insanely fast and then just become regular
As Sniper would say "Piss.."
Haven't read the comics but from what I see it feels like Oliver doesn't care about humans or humanity in general?
He isn't the same species but he was raised by humans so him saying things like most humans being insignificang (04:30) and being willing to sacrifice humanity in order to wipe out viltrumites just makes me lose any sympathy I had for him.
He (and Mark to an extent) basically agree with what Nolan said about humans being lesser and insignificant beings in his battle with Mark.
I am not sure if I am understanding it correctly as I've not read the comics but that is how it seems like.
If you think about it , oliver should be the strongest viltrumite.Given his viltrumite DNA and his fast ageing would have helped him age faster than normal viltrumites making him the strongest cause viltrumites grow stronger as they age
No way this guy married a giant lobster...and I thought Nolan was bad😅
He's not human at all. The looks don't matter. Humans do care about looks.
@TheHeroDog but then again Lucan called the thraxans disgusting when he found out that Nolan had another child with them...soo maybe looks play a small role or something
@@luyandamlandeli2280 Oliver is also part Thraxan, which obviously will have an affect on who he's attracted to hence why he married haluma
@@Toothdragongoatr He's attracted to Haluma because of his Thraxan heritage.

Aye bra bra- baby oliver
But what happened to Oliver's children? Are they being raised by Mark?
That’s my fault for looking into it 😂😂😂
I didn't know Oli had kids. Bug people.
I hope in the series we will get to see the crossover with spiderman.
I highly doubt this is gonna happen
@@Salted..we basically got a Spider-Man cameo in season 2 😂
Is he really dead? He won't be coming back somehow? I enjoyed the character.
Will this all be in season 2 of Invincible, or just some?
Nah, my best guess is that season 2 will end with Angstrom Levy's attack and Oliver is still a newborn baby during that time.
wait, the old man put his winkie in a grasshopper? lol
did you get the idea from key issues
Why is it not Kid Omni. Kid Omni Man sounds wrong
Omni kid sounds better
Its pretty dumb Oliver died so easily when we see some of the crap Mark takes. I mean Thragg ripped mark in half from shoulder to crotch and yet somehow Eve can save him yet a hole in the chest and Oliver just dies, looking at it it didn't even get his heart. I mean look at the second fight with Conquest, Mark was in way worse shape that Oliver and still survived with basic medical treatment from Nolan.
Nolan/Omni-Man has so much rizz he has two children with different women and still was able to make up and sleep with Debbie 😏
I hope they remove the ridiculous times skips and keep Oliver on earth instead
that sounds like a terrible idea, half of his story moments happened because he was apart of the coalition of planets so it makes no sense to change such a vital part of his character, and he doesn’t even like being on earth so the only way they could write him to stay is by completely ignoring his character.
Wait wasn’t Oliver purple at first ? Why did they change his skin tone ?
Viltrumite dna is so pure that as he aged it over took his thraxan dna, tho he still does retain thraxan traits like speedy aging and fast learning
I wonder why Oliver is no longer purple after his recovery 🤨
viltrumite genes gettin' dominant
Viltrumite dna is dominating due to which he will be end up becoming a full blooded viltrumite as he will age ,so I think that be the reason for change I'm skin color .
How did he die from those weak attacks???
He took more damages younger. Was he already dying from old age?
Thragg merked him trying to save Marks daughter
Marks durability is just overall better the writers show the main character the most love💯💯
@@prophetbaby5569that’s not really it, especially the whole giving the main character more love thing. mark gets shit stomped repeatedly in the comics.
@@jico5147 definetly that and also his fighting experiences made em get more op each and every time💯💯 dudes a late bloomer and surpassed everyone that’s very much impressive
@@prophetbaby5569 eh i think you’re overhyping mark. mark was taken out just as quickly as oliver was and only survived because thragg didn’t know that eve’s powers get stronger during near death experiences.

Robert kirkman always do some random killing on his character, the death so unnecessary honestly
If I was a Viltrumite, I would also conquer other races and planets. What else is there to do except spreading superiority throughout the universe?

Skin change 💀
I hope the show gives adult oliver a more unique design, like what happened to his purple skin??
Viltrumite genes become more prominent with age
@@Pillar_of_Salt by that logic mark should've inherited Nolan's blue eyes and paler skin but he doesn't and never does. Oliver should at least keep his skin and some sort of trait that shows he's half bug.

Once they reach adulthood their skin color becomes normal.
I can’t think of any universe where I get with a lobster woman. Unnecessarily weird and gross. Then again, if the alternative is Amber…
The Thrax women are attractive, despite being bugs.
