Ran a GMPP dual plane and a CID single plane on a stock bottom end LS3 with a 233/247 cam and 5200 stall. Whether I left on flash stall, foot brake, or trans brake Dual plane always did better 60', single plane always did better Mph. There's never a free lunch and there is always a trade-off somewhere. Experiment with what you have and choose wisely.

sbc 350 cuin street D/Plain every day eg Ede Rpm Airgap
sbc 400 cuin were never tested with any manifold . A small low profile S/Plain is very suitable eg Weiand 7530 or Ede Vic jnr . Then remember the port size, small s/p use 1205 .The 7530 uses a 1206 gasket .
Then remember the package a 400+ cuin will use a 1206 gskt with at least a 210cc /220cc/ 230cc head if it goes to 6500rpm . A competition AFR 195 works as well .
Above 6500 --7000rpm a super vic or similar works with a 227cc head or bigger .
Car needs setup to match rpm range eg diff gears , convertor stall for a S/p to work

Dual plane all day for street muscle machine. Remember people, build a combo that works for you. I personally have a single plenum with rec port heads on my big block with a 3500 stall, which I don’t mind once I’m on it I’m pullin, or when I’m at the track, but had more fun in the street with large ovals and dual plane air gap on the same short block. Dual plane air gaps pull to 6,500 don’t forget.
