After giving hasbro and paramount tons of crap on ROTB, I can finally give them some credit. They’ve given us Aussies an advanced screening on June 9th so we can watch it at the same time as everyone else instead of waiting 2 weeks (the films release date in Australia is June 22nd)

The colors for Rhinox have changed from the photo renders to the final product. They announced that on the stream they went and changed them sometime after they did the photos. So he's got a lot more silver on him as opposed to that brown.
I'm surprised you talked about the teases for Strongarm and Bludgeon but didn't at least mention Bombshell, Detritus, Shadowstriker, Dreadwing, Core Snarl, and Trashmaster.
Rumors suggest that Shadowstriker is gonna be a pre-tool of RiD Sideburn. Meaning her design is gonna be a combination of her Cyberverse and Universe designs. I don't really like that. It's cool that by doing it this way we can get Sideburn, Roulette, and OG Shadowstriker, but I want a pure Cyberverse Shadowstriker with all the mismatched limbs.
There’s still a possibility the limbs will have different molding and colors to simulate that look, so I wouldn’t write her off just yet. I would hope designers would know that they can’t screw this up considering I believe this is the first time we’re getting a proper figure of that character.
I've realised something about gun hands at the beginning of the war yeah gun hands did not exist but by the end where bots like getaway where being born and thrust straight into war it'd make sense they would adopt gun hands and besides stasis cuffs are a thing to prevent the gun hands
P.s my personal head canon is that as energon was running out they had to use there own which is why they are weaker than regular guns look at primes prime he had swords but when he got the star saber he switched to that
I actually think the Rhinox colors look pretty cool. It looks like hes in a suit of armor and his head looks like one of those roman helmets with a face on them. The proportions are pretty egregious though.
The reasons people hate him are the stone-slab legs and that his face is not accurate to the cartoon. Still a good figure, but it doesn't live up to what fans wanted. I think it's pretty ok too.
I've been having interesting ideas about Nemesis Prime that gives him a character and an origin.
Nemesis was never called Nemesis Prime in the past, but Delosus Major
He's an arrogant, self aggrandizing autobot commander
Due to Optimus's popularity amongst the Autobot army, he grew jealous and hated the rising Autobot leader.
He was banished after a staged Decepticon attack that would make him look good.
He'd swore revenge against the Autobot leader, changing his looks and renaming himself entirely, Nemesis Prime, the nemesis of Prime.

Deluxe WFC Cliffjumper: expected the second WFC Bumblebee was announced.
Deluxe 86 Rufus: congrats on getting a deluxe-scaled G1 Rufus.
Voyager Takara Nemesis Prime: why isn't he a Buzzworthy Bumblebee exclusive?
Voyager ROTB Optimus Prime: I love this figure from what we've seen.
Voyager WFC Megatron: He looks alright.
Voyager ROTB Rhinox: not as good as Cheetor, but appears fun.

Sorry about the lack of comment on the last video. I was at work and kinda forgot about it. It was a good vid, though. I watched it a few times on Wednesday.
Anyways, reveals:
- Burning Optimus Primal: Not feelin it, but my brother really likes the Burning design, so that’s cool. I definitely gotta tell him about the new one.
- Earthspark Grimlock: Yeah, his design is pretty cool. Too bad he was only in ten minutes of the show so far. They also leaked Nightshade, and they’re my favorite Terran design, but they also look like a Kingdom/ROTB Airazor retool, so that sucks for people who wanted a new mold for them. I may be wrong though.
- IDW collection: I definitely need these. The Orion Pax looks kinda weird, but I need more prequel guys to go with my Wardawn and Buzzworthy guys, and these look like they’ll fit the bill nicely.
- And Rufus.
I don’t care about Robosen, Gamer Edition, or ROTB, so I’m just gonna say I’m getting all of the Spacebridge reveals(except Core Snarl).

From reviews I’ve seen the WFC Bumblebee is pretty solid, really the biggest issue is his torso looking dumpy. Definitely going to try and get him and maybe Cliffjumper as well as megatron
The Brawn is SS86, I made a joke on TFW2005 about it being a bad figure because there is no blast effect peg on his left shoulder (especially since I guess Prowl will have a "dying" variant with the smoke coming out of his mouth and all.
I also pre-ordered the Ratbat and Megatron, you might want to jump on it as the prices on the sets are swapped around las I checked.
I think SS Optimus might has Hot Rod shoulders.

For the moment I just want to focus on ROTB Optimus and Rhinox.
Man do I love the look of Optimus’ figure here. When I first saw the reveal for the SS 38 I fell in love with that thing, and when I saw the leaked images for this guy it managed to recapture that love. The only negatives I can see about this figure are the lack of silver paint on the light grey parts, the truck bed not being as near perfect as the SS 38 figures’, and the Hot Rod shoulders. However I still think the figure looks good as it is for the moment, we’ve seen worse truck beds on figures, and the only time Hot Rod shoulders ever really bothered me were with the BB Soundwave figure; mainly because he was so chunky and his arms were too close to his torso.
Though what I have a gripe about is the product photography not finishing the transformation for the alt mode. They didn’t fold out the fuel tanks on the legs, and they didn’t fold down the hinged shoulder flaps that are supposed fold down and cover the rest of the arm kibble in truck mode. Also, yeah that hand gun is dinky. It’s not even accurate to the shape, size, and color of Prime’s hand gun in the film; but both SS 38 and the mainline figure have the ion blaster so you can try and use one of those on the SS 102.
So other than questioning why this guy is releasing in Buzzworthy Bumblebee first, I’m definitely gonna try and get him day one. And if he gets a premium figure that makes him look even better, I’ll get that one too.
As for Rhinox, the actual figure will have way less brown on it. It will mostly be grey and silver with a few faded brown paint applications. But yeah, aesthetically it is a boring color scheme. Though the actual shaping of the robot mode looks pretty decent. He probably has the most accurate head shaping when compared to his original BW design and the rhino mode looks fun. Obviously I don’t think they were ever going to have a giant, fanged Rhino jaw on his torso in live action, though maybe they could have molded some spiked parks on his chest that could have mimicked that old design aspect. Other than that I think he’s so far my favorite of the SS Maximal figures. But it would be awesome if Takara comes in and give the SS Maximal figures a cartoon accurate premium finish paint job like they’re doing for the Kingdom figures. Season 1 colors on this Rhinox and the inevitable Optimus Primal would just look fantastic on those figures. Though it would make Airazor closer to just being the Kingdom figure other than sharing the same exact transformation. And for Cheetor I’d hope that, instead of giving him season 1 colors, Takara leans in on how SS Cheetor looks closer to Transmetal 2 Cheetor and gives him colors that more so match the TM2 color scheme.
Apparently the Optimus also has Hotrod Shoulders.

@@PerspectiveEnd From what I’m seeing of the Optimus figure, it looks like he’ll have an overall better plastic quality compared to the SS 38, based on the way light bounces off him in some of the images we’ve seen. And from said images, it looks like he’ll have an intriguing transformation. The designers said that the only aspects borrowed from SS 38 are the chest windows and the wheels; the former of which has different molding done to it.
I’m definitely still waiting to see how the transformation will work, mainly from someone who finds a way to get the figure early, but for the most part right now SS 102 is shaping up to look like a really solid figure.

I legitimately can't understand how people have tolerance for her. Like I don't want to be the dude who hates female characters, but this one in particular, is just insufferable.
She'd make WAY more sense as a Decepticon than an autobot. At least then her Hypocrisy would be a feature, instead here I'm left wondering if they realized that's what they were doing with her character.
i just realized that they made strongarm a realistic cop, just less violent because its a kids show.
I can't wait for the Brawn so I can have an Earth mode version for my Bumblebee movie Brawn.

It hurts me how much hate Retrax gets. It may only be because I enjoyed finding roly poly bugs behind my house, but I loved that figure as a kid.
If it weren't for what I assume to be durability concerns, I reckon -
- the inner sides of the shins could've folded down on a protruding hinge to sit between the thighs, with muktipke small pegs to hold the legs together.
- the robot missile pods could've folded on a hinge to sit inline with the wheels, and folding inwards to rest on the underside of the knees in truck mode.
- the foot could've been five parts, with the ankle being a mushroom peg, with room to slide it forward, shortening the truck bed length, and the outside of the foot could've folded forwards at a hinge at toes with pegs to attach to the folded leg panels, revealing a trailer port and flattening the bed a tad A peg would also fold out of one of the foot soles to work in conjectuon with the inner leg panel legs to hold everything together.
The shoulders forgo the protruding missile pods from Bumblebee in Rise of The Beasts, being much more subtle. They could've removed them (they're grey, like the conteol art) and had a panel on the back side fold on a hinge to replace them. That would allow for a normal shoulder joint, working in conjunction with the inner joint to give the arms incredible range. If a proper shoulder still wasn't possible, the front shoulder panel should have been connected to the rear of the wheel well, folding onto the top of the shoulder at a hinge.
My Autobot version of the DJD's main feature isn't violence, more like so extremely loyal and self-righteous they do violent things. Except for Impactor.
That's why I want RID 2015 Strongarm.
She's the heavy weapons personnel, Prowl is a ninja, and Impactor is a mix of a hoplite and a berserker. When Cliffjumper fails hard, who replaces him?
Grimlock's personality just fits a robot pet better than Optimus.
Optimus is just too serious, and telling him to do simple things for us doesn't feel right.
These robots walk around, bump into things, and they have to be ordered around. Yeah, it should've been Grimlock from the beginning, he's the perfect choice.
86 Brawn, ugly as ever. But this is an amazing Brawn. I'll totally buy this.

I actually love ROTB Rhinox. He's just an awesome version of Tin Man with a cool rhino mode. And the beast mode is ABSOLUTELY RAD on the SS version.
I just can't wait for WFC game Warpath. If something as astronomically awful as Barricade can get in, why not Warpath?
He's easily the coolest design in the WFC game.

Waspinator TeRrOrIzE, not gonna lie, the gamer edition Megatron looks very accurate to the game. And if you know me by now, I love toys that look accurate.

Yeah, his robot mode looks almost perfect. But his tank mode looks… stumpy, I guess? It feels a little short considering how long the cannon is. They really should’ve made Megatron a leader class, considering they seem to be going with ingame sizes and Megatron (and funnily enough, Brawl and Warpath as well) are at least two heads taller and much beefier.
8:03 Okay I feel I got jipped. My dad got this thing but it didn't come with the fire affect piece. This is probably the first time I ever got a "toy" that was missing an accessory in the box.

That O.G Waspinator was my first unofficial first tf, my older cousin saw me enjoy it from bug-to-bot, and gave it to me, intact. No surprise beastwars was my intro into the franchise😅

7:30 To me, I haven’t dove deep into IDW beyond MTMTE and Lost Light, but I think it’s because Shockwave and Orion Pax are kind of stretching their molds. Shockwave had a busy design in detail and silhouette, and that contrasts with the detailed bit only being the chest piece and head imo. Pax I think only has minor differences from the comic look
Pax definitely has problems, they tried to fuze his two designs into one, so he has the wrong chest.

I don't know of anyone has mentioned it yet, but the SS RotB Optimus Prime is transformed wrong in truck mode in the stock photos. If you look at the one they physically revealed on stream, there are additional panels that fold down to clean up the truck mode, and it looks significantly better

I have Rhinox in hand and I have two things to say.
1. Besides for his biceps, there’s no brown plastic just some rust like paint.
2. The thing is FANTASTIC!! I can see why people say he’s the best of the Ss Maximals. I like the mainline but Jesus the Ss is a serious upgrade. Now all I need is the Ss Primal and I’ll have a complete Ss Maximal team and I’ll also have a completed mainline Maximal team!
At this point, we didn't know that was all he had.

I really hope the kibble on the back of Optimus' truck mode isn't as bad as I think, because if so we have a contender for the best movie Optimus figure ever in my humble opinion.
I don't know about that honestly. It looks a Little Stiff, it's got Hotrod shoulders, and it's a bit messy.
The BB Optimus in my humble opinion was better.

Rocket, "I lied, I just thought it be funny to see that guy hopping on one leg trying for his own escape while we make our own."
Since they are doing the og season 1 cast, Premium Dinobot and Terrorsaur are a must, since they’re the ones who benefit the most from a bit more paint. I wonder if they’ll eventually do the extra season 1 characters like Tigatron, Blackarachnia, Airazor and Inferno.

The night before Orion and Shockwave were revealed me and my brother were theorizing what they could be. I thought they would be a retool of Jhiaxus and Siege Ironhide, my brother thought the Siege Seeker and Siege Hound. Guess who won. I think both molds would work better as the other. At least Ironhide would scale better and I just want the Jhiaxus mold without getting that figure.

See there is a problem with relying on others to get your information.
Even with 4 of them helping me out, only one of them bothered to send me those 2 characters, so I didn't know others had happened.
5:23 Some mobile suits and even Gundams do have arm weapons built in, but it’s either in the hand (see: Destiny Gundam, standard Gouf, Doven Wolf, etc), looking like it’s arm mounted (Hi-Nu Gundam, Gouf Custom, Gundam Alex, etc), or storing beam sabers (Sazabi, Nu Gundam, Hi-Nu Gundam, Gundam Pharact, Sinanju, Unicorn Gundam, etc)
Using body parts as storage I don't see as the same thing. It's not intended to be the main way it's used, just a back up.

Am i the only one thinking that they gave the amazon 2 packs switched prices? Like, the ratbat and megatron with 2 voyagers costs about $55, and the orion and shockwave with a deluxe and voyager costs $66.
And this isnt even the weird price gouging that amazon trnds to do, these were the prices the day listing started.

I am so happy to see that brawn looks like a proper upgrade from my old titans return figure. I feel like beachcomber is just meh. And doesn’t justify $40 Australian when I got the PotP one for maybe 10, and I love it.
I mean to be fair the TR figure was a Legends one. It'd be kind of sad if it wasn't an upgrade.
Rhinoxs stock photogrophy is wrong, they said during the stream that his colors were changed last minute, and that the stock photogrophy was now innacurate
During the stream, the rhinox they showed off had stone grey instead of brown, and it was a final production model
I also had my shattered glass grimlock arrive, and damn... hes looking better than the standard g1 grimlock...

So...Strongarm is the Aligned continuity version of Prowl. RiD 01 Scourge is the only good "Nemesis Prime" to exist in a mainstream show.
Here's the thing, Prowl was supposed to be an asshole. They didn't realize that's what they were doing with Strongarm.

SS RoTB Optimus looks so good, I want it. Too bad it’s a GOD DAMN TARGET EXCLUSIVE. I hope this gets an RoTF SS Bumblebee treatment where it gets rereleased in the mainline.
Exclusives are such a Needless Frustration.
I wouldn’t mind exclusives if Hasbro didn’t banish the name characters like Bumblebee, Soundwave, Prowl or Optimus Motherfucking Prime to stores that don’t exist worldwide and in a limited run. The only reason Hasbro does this is to feed the scalpers and I will live by that until the day I die in a subway station.

The Grimlock is most definitely a moderately remolded Cyberverse DX Grimmy - only the upper legs and lower arms appear to be unchanged (which may be bad in the former case - BBCA DX Grimlock's legs have a bad habit of popping off on every reported example) but most of the rest is cosmetic- changing the gribbling, not the basic shapes. Both heads and the chestplate look significantly closer to OG Grimlock, though, and he was a good enouhg figure to begin with that I'm strongly considering getting the new one anyway just to have the properly masked-up face. The tail parts on the back of the legs do look a little odd at first glance but you quickly get used to them and it helps hide the big hollow calves that the upper legs have to fold into. The way the legs transform is actually really clever, too - they end up top and bottom rather than side to side, for a much sleeker look than the utter chonk of a tail most of the recent Grimlock designs have sported.
Looking at you, Core Grimlock.
Now, Strongarm... you can hate her character, fine, but that visual design is pretty sweet. Here's hoping they can manage the kibble better than her original Warrior class figure, that basically ended up with the hands inside a little box made out of her fender and grille.
Legacy... Rufus? They're going to all that trouble to make Brawn, and then they AREN'T going to call him Brawn? Or, like, Autobot Brawn for copyright purposes or something. I mean, that's probably the reason behind the renaming unless "Rufus" is just a placeholder the way Earthspark DX OP was (and I think still is) listed as "Mark" on Amazon. Well, whatever, the only other Brawn I have is SS BB movie, and while the little fireplug-toiletbowl-drilltank is recognizably himself thanks to colors and the helmet, and hilariously close to being an off-model version of The Juggernaut, Bitch, I can't help but want this classic look version even more.
And probably Gamer Megs, just because I dearly love the art deco aesthetic and was all over WfC despite hating to actually play it just for the visuals, and because Optimus Hulk needs his nemesis to face off with.
The thing is Gundams do have on board weapons, but they mostly are low power close combat guns so they don't drain the suit's power and don't use up space. If you want to see some awesome actual tank vibes, check out 08th MS Team. They have backpacks that they can drop and pull guns out of and the onboard weapons are literally distractions. Transformers should have had weaker on board that damage weaker bots and give more superficial wounds and handhelds that can pierce through cybertronian armor. Would be on par for Autobots to use weapons that won't immediately kill their enemies.
My favorite reveals from this batch are the Gamer Edition Cliffjumper and the Senator Ratbat & Miner Megatron 2-Pack. I just think they look really cool, especially Ratbat. I don’t know much about the character (never been big into reading the comics but I really wanna start getting into them) but the design looks amazing. And I really like the look of the Gamer Edition Bee/Cliff mold, especially the alt mode. I just think they’re very cute figures, definitely wanna get my hands on them
Oh and they announced the inevitable Dreadwing repaint (which was expected after Skyquake), which I’m very excited for
The design is great yeah. And there's not too much to know. He was just a Corrupt Senator, whom Soundwave was loyal too, till Megatron Swayed soundwave to his side.
I think what happened with the wednesday video Is that people thought it was a Yugi oh video.

so the senator ratbat and megatron are 2 voyagers, which today would be 2 $35 figures, and the set is being sold for $55. So tell me, why on earth is the shockwave and orion pax set, a set of a $35 voyager and $25 deluxe, $70.
Maybe they accidentally swapped the prices.

I don't know if you already covered it, but what do you think of that Earthspark Nightshade figure that got revealed? Or Shadowstriker getting a figure? I'm personally more excited for her than Strongarm
