I can't remember the last time that we got a Mainline wave with zero G1. Its nice to have some more variety in mainline.
*Technically* Tiger hawk is G1 because of timeline, but yeah. I never thought we'd see the day. And I'm loving seeing all the malding toxic Geewunners.
I was happy that happened since I was always a Beast Wars,RID 2001,Unicron Trilogy,Animated, and Alligned stan to begin with XD lol.

The reason Tigerhawk has so many similarities to Silverbolt - including the wingtip weapons (which the original toy had) - is because originally Tigerhawk was suppose to be an upgraded version of Silverbolt before they changed it into a hybrid of Tigertron and Airrazor.
That makes too much Sense.
One thing that I like about Legacy Chase is me realizing how the babies that grew up with Rescue Bots are now in the age of being collectors.

Also some people are pointing out that because of the exhausts and the arrangement of the legs, he’s a pretool for IDW Lockdown or Prime Cliffjumper.

Can attest, I was about 5 when I started watching Rescue Bots, (kept playing the two-part S1 finale through Xfinity On Demand,) and ended up going AOE, RID2015, and Combiner Wars as my full exposure to Transformers.
I'm 17 now, and VERY excited for Chase as he was the Rescue Bot I never had as a kid...
Apparently the tidal wave is a proper Titan, but instead of splitting into parts for megatron, he has the megatron components inside of him to take out and give to Megs
So if tidalwave would to combine with armada megs, it would be absolutely horrendous
that sounds like a giant waste of plastic

I think Chase could have looked fine, if they just tweaked the head a bit... Maybe gave it anything of a neck.

Correct sir, I do care. He was my first Megatron design I was introduced to, and I love the design.
Plus it can be retooled into a Shattered Glass Megatron that isn't just a Siege Megatron retool.
Tidalwave will most likely come with accessories that you can put on Megatron. Windblade looks fine. I don't get the notion that she's creepy. It's really just a transformer wearing a kabuki mask. Prime Thundertron looks good, Animated Prime and Bumblebee look good and Prime not having his mask isn't a sin considering he didn't have it on through most of the show. It was more prevalent in his power up mode.
PE doesn't like Animated so idk if he would care about that lol
I know he didn't have it in the Show, and it was a Sin. I don't know why hasbro is like "If Optimus is SUPER UGLY under the mask, then people need to see his face ALL THE TIME!!!"

Bee and Prime are my standouts for this line so far because I looooove Animated. Thundertron looks so much cooler than I was expecting to me at least. And I’m currently holding a bet on what Chase is gonna be retooled into, Lockdown or Prime Cliffjumper, if you compared the altmode literally all it’s missing for Cliff is the horns for a modern take on him.

Here's the thing. That Scraphead leak came out while I was editing this video.
One thing that I think is really neat about Tigerhawk is how they actually used some of the animal textures and details from Kingdom Airazor and Tigatron. Like say what you will about those two figures, but I think that's a really nice way to reference Tigerhawk being the fusion of those two characters.
Chase also has me excited - along with a retool into a Movieverse Barricade, he could also work really well as a retool into Prime Cliffjumper ngl.
Thundertron looks like a sage character that commands the Rock Lords and has a backstory with a main villain.
Definitely a few solid figures this go around. I'm in agreement about Wingblade, I have a thrilling 30 version and don't really see this replacing that.
Chase will stand next to my kid's old rescue bot team that I've kept for sentimental reasons.
Definitely some other awesome figures, but it'll depend on how thick or thin my wallet is and if I can beat our local scalpers
Yeah that's the problem with this much good stuff. So much to buy.
Literally when I was pre-ordering back on Friday all of the reveals were available first for Premium Pulse members for 4pm when the rest of us had to wait at 5pm. I was so worried that the TFA guys and Tigerhawk were going to sell out before I had a chance to get them but luckily I was able to.
Others in the community have made a case that the Chase mold could also be re-colored, of course with a new head, into Prime Cliffjumper.
I've seen that, and I have the ability to see it.
Mainly getting TFA Optimus, Bee and Windblade. This whole wave looks REALLY good, and I might pick up Chase.

If anything, Chase looks like a pretool of TFP Cliffjumper with the side exhausts, the Dodge Challenger looking car mode, and the bot mode having TFP Cliffjumper's aesthetics just Chug-ified. (roof chest, big arms)
I am quite excited for Animated Prime and the Infernac Bots, they look like a ton of fun.
I think he looks less like that than most people are acting like, but I can still see them doing that.
And yes the Rock Lords look awesome.
I'm very happy that they're making the Rescue Bots in the Chug Aesthetic, I loved that show and being able to get some big-boy figures of the Rescue Bots is exciting for me.
I think they could just blend the two Aesthetics a bit better.
There's also rumors that Chase is a pretool of prime Cliffjumper and I really hope that's the case. The belly roof body type is my favorite and this seems to be way more successful than Kingdom tracks while also keeping the car chunk sunken into the body
I’d love to see a Prime Cliffjumper out of the upcoming Chase mould, that’d be epic! Hope to see a Prime Wheeljack soon too.

I wouldn't say uncanny, but they do share some Similarities.
Question of the comments since you can pre-order these guys on Amazon, are there any you pre-ordered? If so, which ones? I only pre-ordered one so far that was Magneous i’m not the biggest fan of the small waist either but you know if they say about judging books by their cover

For Tidal Wave combiner mode are we going to have most of the figure be combined with Megatron and few bits be left off to the side. or is it going to be a more comprehensive combination compared to the original, that my concern.
I just realized, will they retool Thundertron to Leobreaker from TF Cybertron? That alt-mode screams leobreaker.

7:41 got this in hand and I really enjoy it. Robot mode is excellent, has more range in all of its joints, his feet are very articulated and because of how wide it is it will require barely any effort to get it to stand and while some of the joints were not clipped off correctly on my copy I did some modifications by sanding those down and it rotates without issue. The transformation is quite good and the truck mode isn’t that bad in person for me. I normally don’t get upgrade kits or sticker sheets but the DNA design upgrade kit for this figure is definitely something I’m going to get.

Out of all the many figures i have in my collection, my absolute favorite has always been Magmatron, I dont think I've ever been more excited for any other figure than a commander class magmatron with some updated articulation.
Considering the ways Perspective uses to describe how bad a figure is, I was expecting something along the lines of "WHY ARE HIS PECKS EATING HIS STOMACH?" for the Animated optimus
His pecks needed to be bigger, so they Absorbed his Abs.

I love the Tiger Hawk and I think they are definitely going to be using that mold for a retool of Slver Bolt and then Thunder Tron looks amazing if your a Transformers prime fan as I am

I mean it would be bigger than it should be, and the transformation wouldn't be right. I agree that it would work, but I think it would be a lot better to get a True Dedicated Silverbolt.
I'm more interested in what they may retool this wave into. I would like to see a Barricade from the Chase mold, a Wasp from the Bumblebee mold, and Silverbolt from the Tigerhawk mold.
I really hope that with Tidal Wave in the poster there is a chance for Armada Jetfire.

Tasmain Kid IS on OG Beast Wars figure. It's the Japanese name for Snarl, a figure in the original Beast Wars toyline.

I recently acquired an Energon Powerlinx Galvatron and I really wanna get that core Energon Megatron so he can have a little buddy to pair with.
That would look quite funny together.
Chase has exhaust and his vehicle modes shape is similar to Prime Cliffjumper so we’ll probably see him as that and they were joking how you could use the rescue claw as knuckle dusters

I don't remember who said it, but I heard someone say it looks like it could be a TFP Cliffjumper in the G1 aesthetic.
Regarding Chase being a retool, you see Barricade, I see Prime Cliffjumper.
A few people are seeing that, and yeah a bit I can too.
For Tidal Wave it was confirmed that he IS the Titan and will have parts you can take off to give Megatron his armor and probably the "Dark Fleet" when not combined. I think they'll be hidden inside Tidal Wave in parts like TJ Omega speculated.
Energon is Core Class since they're testing the waters with him and the BM Cheetor to see what people want more of. But they don't want to put a lot of budget in per the risk of that not selling well due to series reputation.
Technically the bike and jeep aren't rock lords, they're from the Inhumanoids universe (Infernac) but obviously are paying homage to it still. I'm totally getting at least the bike. The duplicate rock guys is because it's, in lore, a Sparkless monster, a grunt to act as a Junkion counter.
I am absolutely with you on Chase. I recently started watching RB out of boredom and that head just ruins the whole piece for me. Everyone else is praising thos to no end, I just can't, it's accurate at all. Also pretty good show, nice background noise at worst. Chase also seems to be the base for a Prime Cliffjumper going off what people are saying.
I liked the Animated Prime until I saw these pics, that torso cones out way too far and has some gaps in the side I can't stop looking at. The lack of mask is honestly the right call, he spent most of the show without it on and is more iconic for him. Plus it helps differentiate him from other Optimis figures.
Tigerhawk totally should have some ice and fire blast effects he can hold.
That still wouldn't make sense, if he's a Titan, even one of his legs will be bigger than Megatron. The Dark Fleet would all be 3 times his size.

@@PerspectiveEndNot like the limbs coming off, but parts of the figure coming off or out of him that are to Megatron's size. Like his arms open up to reveal each half of the aircraft carrier. Something like that. With the smaller fleet in place of a deluxe or Legends/Core figure.
And as for BM, I absolutely wouldn't want the Maximals (they're all nightmare fuel except Rattrap and Cheetor), but new renditions of the Vehicons would be quite welcome, imo.
As Legacy Evolution did here in Australia, A figure from the new Legacy line isn't coming here for some reason. Every wave since Legacy Evolution wave 1, some figure has been missing. Needlenose, Twincast, Soundblaster, Devcon, Detrius, Dreadwing, Swoop and Snarl. Legacy United wave 1 will be missing Cyberverse Windblade. Preorders for her just don't exist here weirdly enough and Thundertron was nearly a miss with amazon now having preorders however JB Hifi saved him and he is up there.
i know you said chase is likely going to be retooled into an evergreen barricade but ther is also another character i could see it being retooled to that would actually fit the style; Prime universe Cliffjumper

Yeah I'm sure he means a lot to other people and that's good, I just think they could have blended the two styles better.

They won't be before Christmas, this will be next years Toyline, so they will be out sometime March, I believe.
I find it so strange that you've the only other person I've seen say chase might be turned into Barricade. I've seen way more people say prime cliffjumper (which makes a lot of sense given the chest), and some say lockdown, which i dont get at all. Tho why didn't they give chase a toon accurate head ?( I've just realised that Chase may be the only cop-bot that isn't in some form currupt)
See I think that's wrong. People are going off the Old Toy, the Chest in the show should be the Bumper.
@PerspectiveEnd the bumper was more belt buckle like, and the same argument could be made for Barricade since he's just prowl, but the doors become the arms.

Yeah, he's just Obscure enough that most people will kind of recognize him, but most won't know him.
I would be fine if titan class was sometimes a really really well built commander like creme de le crop with enough accessories to practically make a full second figure (not combine just that many accessories)

Considering the T30 Windblade, I will take this one. Less horrid legs, and an altmode that works. In exchange of a bit more batpack.

The Rocklords are the new modulators, with the core class being basically a living mega-sword for voyager class figures to wield.
I think the TR one looks better.
And yeah I saw that they are the new Weaponulators and that's fun too.

Thundertron was a scrapped character from prime that was supposed to be the main villain of season 3 until, they decided to focus on beasts. Makes me wonder if they could do new figures of other scrapped characters

The rescue bots designs are actually pretty interesting, and I hope we see more of them translated to the mainline style

Interesting thing to note about Thundertron, he seems to use the same engineering as ROTB Cheetor. Still not sure what he could possibly be a pretool for.
What makes you say he has the same engineering as that figure?
@@PerspectiveEnd same shoulder pads, tail transforms in the same way, front legs transform the same way but with an extra step, the rear legs are just the robot mode legs on both figures. Same chest cavity to store the robot/beast mode heads depending on which mode it’s in. There’s definitely some differences, but the shared engineering is there imo
If they are doing a true titan tidal wave, i think it would be cool if they reimagined the combination as tidal wave turning into mecha suit for megatron, maybe something similar to the one crankcase used in IDW

I am so excited for chase. I’m a junior in high school and Rescue Bots was how I got into the franchise (the first figures I ever got were rescue bots toys of optimus and bumblebee) and for a long time i’ve had a 4-pack set of the rescue bots which was fine, but they’re 1 step changer baby toys. Chase doesn’t look perfect, but i’m just happy that soon i’ll have “real” versions of the characters that got me into the series.
And yeah the show is beloved by kids lol, it is pretty good and i’d recommend it if you want to watch a cute kids show

Chase is a pre tool of Transformers prime cliffjumper I'm calling it now, the shape and side pipes scream it to me
TM2 Megatron was my white whale/holy grail. So with that one on my shelf I'm more mellow with the reveals.
I'm relieved they are finishing up Legacy instead of a Fab 40 like Thrilling 30. The smaller casts of Animated, Prime, RID, Rescue Bots and Cyberverse has me thinking we will burn through most of the series by this time next year. And we will stull have a few G1 figures waiting in the wings.

Energon Megatron has always had a special place in my heart considering it was one of my first ever introductions into megatron back when i was a toddler. Also, Animated Optimus looks like they shoved two tons of robo-steroids into him. His chest is massive, his arms are huge, his head looks wider somehow, and the truck mode cab looks like a whole ass boulder.

Tigerhawk is amazing, and we have leaks of Silverbolt and Core Dinobot coming soon, which will hopefully be cool.

Since we're getting magmatron I hope we can get magnaboss as well it would be a shame if they didn't do an update of that figure

Ngl I think Chase could also be a lockdown. He has a somewhat similar layout to ROTF/IDW/Cyberverse lockdown, he’s got the hooks and he’s a slightly above average hieght car former. Only issue is axelgrease exists making it less likely.

Funny you say something about Silver bolt, legacy is actually saying they're going to do more fuzors, and I don't know if this is a rumor or not but they said that silver bolt is on the LIST, I really hope they make beast wars silverbolt, Quick strike, and beast wars rampage next.

Really feeling and getting the BW Tigerhawk because he looks boss, TFA Optimus and Bumblebee because I have always wanted figures of them two, Prime Thundertron due to thinking that he looks cool and RB Chase because why not?! United is by far the best looking line to me now.
I think I still prefer Siege most of all, but this line isn't looking like a Disappointment like ER was when you compare the two.

I can't wait to get tiger hawk. Although for someone who's favorite transformer is tigatron seeing tigatron come back in tigahawk after thinking he was gone for good only to have him die the next episode broke me a little. Honestly might be why I'm so happy whenever tigatron stuff gets revealed.
