Great afternoon out. Managed to stay dry somehow.
You done well getting a bite in that cold wet weather, normally when I go out fishing in that weather I only catch a cold. Maybe I’ll go out and dust the rods off.

@@TheSussexOutdoorsman it's been ok, managed a few carp this year at the estate lake I'm lucky enough to fish. Visiting the Rother tomorrow with the pin and float rod with a tin of maggots. Hoping for some grayling. Or anything lol. It's just too chilly to be by the lake not moving! Just sorted my tackle out and found a mouse has chewed my wellies !! Lol
I've not had a trip to the rother this year. And with the wet weather i know i would end up falling in. All the best for the trip tomorrow. You may need some mouse traps to save your wellies.

@@jbradshaw4236 A few years ago, house mice ate all the cork handles on my mate's rods along with the old baits in his rucksack. Some tropical fruit boilies (popped up over a bed of hemp!) and a few traps sorted the little buggers out. Didn't even bother with hair rigs!

Hey. I am german. I have got 2 of the advanta and 2 okuma. I use pins 90 percent of my fishing. Pike, carp, roach. Sorry for my bad english but you should buy another pins. Today they are cheap, the advanta.

I only fish with one rod. A la chris yates. It' s more effective.
Where did you get your reel and rod from
The centrepin was from angling direct. And the rod was from another online retailer. Active angling or total fishing maybe??
