The quality and size compared to price is awesome, so happy i have one on the way and ran into some issues so i even get some filament free with the machine. Elegoo is a fantastic company
That raven was awesome right off the bed, but you really sent it with your post processing!
I'm thinking of the Neptune 4 Plus for my needs. The prices on these are unbelievable.
so clean
Nice! I just got this same printer and I couldn’t be happier. I told my boss about it and she instantly ordered one too. This is my first 3D printer and next I want to figure out how to print with TPU
10/10 for the octopus, I find myself stunned. Good Job!
Thankyou!! 🙃
Perfect as always
I need my prints to come out this clean! Just getting mine setup first test prints before diving into the huge models I made. I may need to pick your brain sometime. Oh, and these videos are so informative and mesmerizing to watch!!
What speed did you print at? and what slicer did/do you use?
Thanks
Awesome! Stunning timelapse footage! Did you get any printing failure during the recording of this video or everything came out perfectly?
That Skull Mushroom planter is cool. I made an additional smaller Octopus to hold a Sapporo beer can lol.
The new Gigastorm from Elegoo is going to be massive.
Oh that’s an awesome idea for a can holder! Do you remember what percent scale you used for that?
What is the elegoo gigastorm ?? 😱
@@WildRoseBuilds I don’t recall I think I ended up using the 100% scale one for the can and printed a 112% or so to hold wine bottles cause the other was too small. I would think 75% would hold a beer bottle or standard can.
The Elegoo Gigastorm is going to print 840x840x1000 I think. They just announced it yesterday. If they send you one better make some room for it lol.
@@LesFishingMoreCatchingI started building a full 3/4” plywood box to encase my Neptune 4 Max and it’s a massive and heavy box, I should make a video
Awesome video, congratulation! 👏👏
I can‘t wait until it is available next time.
Need to get the Elegoo Neptune-4 Max!
Thank you for the video, and guess you didn‘t change the settings in the profile, did you?
Ohhh I love the window plant thingy, what a great idea
I moved and had to give my houseplants away so I’ll be making a million of these to regrow my army of pothos haha
@@WildRoseBuilds ohh they will love that sunny window.
The stringing on the Mushroom skull is due to your retraction settings for your timelapse Macro.
great video. Id love to see more furniture videos. That stool video was great
Could you do a video about how you make such awesome timelapse videos? Or put links to the equipment you use in your “about”? Or both? 😁
1:48 there ya go bud
Fantastic video 😍🤩
is it possible to see the overhangs on the octopus model? I doubt that the cooling can handle the parts, but OK maybe for a 24 hour print. On the v400 it took me 13 hours to print. Have an extra 5015 fan so the overhangs are perfect.
Would love some info on the slicer profile and if you updated the firmware as well?
What were the fliaments you used? The green in the octopus in particular.
What kind of camera do you use? The image quality is awesome!
I'm so Jealous, not a single layer shift!!
Can you make a wipe tower in the corner that the hot end chills for a seconds to snap the layer photo? Like it just swipes the wipe tower on the way back to the print.
Thanks for the video! I have the neptune 4 and now the neptune 4 max, and both of them are driving me nuts because of layer shifts on Y axis. Please, can you provide any cura profile for this printers? what slicer do you use? thanks in advance!
I would love to know what slicer and settings you use for your prints.
What slicer do you use, and do you have you profile settings posted anywhere?
Use GCode to have the filament withdraw as its moving to the corner for the picture.
Are you are using the Fluid interface to do the time-lapse. I can not get mine to work on the Neptune 4 plus. My camera was working fine with my 3 PRO and the sonic pad using Klipper, but I can not figure this one out. Any help?
What fill ٪ did you use for this magnificent piece?
I need the Max!
It’s an awesome printer!
You need to set a Patreon or channel member option up so we can support you better! Excellent video as always sir 🎉
Is that LM Sparkle Green by chance?
EEN! Just had to holla “een!”
3d scan yourself and see how few parts you can print you in on that huge print volume
I have a roof that needs 4 of those Ravens glued, one on each corner, to act as sentinels. I'm shocked at how affordable that printer is.
Yeah! I thought about putting this one outside but black pla in the sun doesn’t hold up great. Yeah this printer is a steal at its current price, highly recommended!
Lost PLA method of casting aluminum ought to do it. Coat in liquid ceramic, multiple layers, bake to burn out the PLA, pack in sand with Sprus and chimnies, pour molten aluminum.
@@WildRoseBuildswould the 3 layers of paint act like a sunscreen protection?
@@Beakerzor yes, but you need to consider the heat aspect too, ideally keep it in the shade and out of the rain. there are clear coats which are UV resistant. you could use multiple coats of that if you wanted.
What infill pattern is this?
What printer you recomand?I have 500$ budged for printer.
I realized you are sponsored by elegoo but you seem to do a good amount of printing with their Neptune 4 series. Any way we could get a long term review of those printers? I’ve seen some reviews that are pretty negative of the printer.
Hey Andrew! The 4 plus and 4 max are awesome machines for the price. The 4 and 4 pro should get a revision soon that’ll include the ceramic heater and wifi that we saw on the plus and max. If speed is not an important factor than the marlin based Neptune 3 pro is an amazing machine still at only $200. I’ll hopefully touch on all this when the Neptune 4 SE comes out. Thanks for watching!
@@WildRoseBuilds I’ll be on the lookout for it! I’m definitely looking for more speed. Still rocking an ender 3 pro would definitely like to speed things up a bit.
How are you slicing these? Don't see profiles yet.
How did you set up the time lapse? I have the same printer, but this is my first 3D printer
He says at about 1:48 on
@@kane0508LCAC he just says that he does it but not what code he uses, I’ll just google it
How much noise would you say the max produces? Can you sleep in the same room with it printing?
I have the same printer and it’s quiet. I can watch a movie in the same room with the volume up a little, but I could never sleep in the same room, i need total silence. My wife can’t tell that it’s running, it sounds like the fridge just kicked on, or our countertop ice maker from the next room over. It’s like the same noise of my gaming PC when gaming.
Did your Max come with a 0.2 mm nozzle? Every other reviewer has said it came with a single 0.4 mm.
Nope! .4mm nozzle, I printed these at .2mm layer height. Really wish this shipped with a .6 or even .8mm nozzle 😭
Nice models, I dont have a 3D printer so the mean time my $15 3D pen will do. 🖊😔
This is literally barbiedolls for grown men.
