Far Cry 4 was very underrated. It took everything good from Far Cry 3 and made it better. Only problem is they were released too close together and Pagan Min wasnt in the game as much as Vaas. Both games are classics in my opinion.
What's annoying to H&K lovers is the bolt being locked up when it isn't even moved.

I love the reload sound design for every gun that came after the 1st game. So rough, scrapey and satisfying.
I enjoyed the first games sounds, they became known to other games and even movies. The M4 gun can be heard in Far Cry 3 briefly in “A man Named Hoy” and in GTA 5s prologue mission were Trevor shoots after the cops from the getaway car.
That MP5 charging handle animation still gives me physical pain when I see it

I want to know why FC4 gets a bad reputation. It's essentially Farcry 3 in a different setting with improved game play while remaining traditional.

@@huynhyurivanvladamir7978 I didn't like FC3's story. It was way too simplistic. Vaas is the only thing I remember about FC3'S story. On the other hand, FC4 had a complex story with amazing characters. Pagan Min, Amita, Sabal, Noore etc. FC4 also had better mission variety.

@UNPLISHED I've shot a real 1911, my .45 kimber. It doesn't sound like the one from FC3, but the game's version does sound very good. Just because a game's sound design isn't perfectly realistic doesn't mean it's not good in every case. Don't be a fuck-face.

I wish they'd make a new version of FC3 with some of FC4's QOL changes implemented into it. Higher quality foliage (the sprites in FC3 suck), driving and shooting at the same time, etc.

since One and PS4 the effect is reduced a lot

I first played the game in 2013 or 2014, I think. And even at that time my PC would have been able to squeeze some extra performance for modelled trees.

I voted for Far Cry 3 because some models are better (no rust, original color) and in FC3 the guns have the smoke coming out from the barrel after you shoot. Some sounds are way better in FC3 too, particularly the DShK.

Far cry 3 is good, but it seems that the 4 knots have more fun
The thing that bothers me more than anything, is how Far Cry 2 had amazing gun sounds, from the firing, reload, and even just clunky tinkering sounds when moving them around, and how much it was downgraded in Far Cry 3. Don't get me wrong, I think Far Cry 3 is much better overall when it comes to being a video game, but my god did they fuck up what they had going in the sound department compared to Far Cry 2. And worst of all, the lowered bar of sound quality from 2 to 3 became Ubisoft's new standard for the Far Cry series. I miss the loud, bombastic, clunky, chunkiness of Far Cry 2.
Lol, You really hate Far cry 3 and 4 gun sounds because the gun sound are not realistic. If 3 was so realistic than 4. It will be boring game. If you want realism sound. And you sound really pissed. If you want realistic gun sounds and dislike unrealistic gun sound. Than you play Call of duty modern warfare and Far cry 2 then. If you want the realism to the guns

One thing not mentioned in the video is, that shotguns have a faster fire rate while ADS. In farcry 4. 3s has the same regardless.

Yes. Sturmgewehr means Assault Rifle in German so its an Assault Rifle 90 I guess. The gun is based off of the SIG SG 550 i'm pretty sure

I have played both games and i liked far cry 4 more, far cry 4 has a good difficulty where as far cry 3 was mostly easy

The worst thing about far cry games is the “nearly out of ammo” sound. So dumb. Also they really went lazy with the animations and gun sounds. Pretty much reused from FC3.

@@JDX_05 you can technically buy a 12-Gauge flare insert for flare pistols, but they're meant for naval flares. There's a test on whether or not it could handle buckshot, and it couldn't.
